To be honest I don't think you could have a Nintendo console as your main console. Some nintendo systems have droughts longer than the Sahara desert.

@anonsinnerman Hardly. I love a lot of Nintendo games. I love Metroid, Pokemon and I really enjoy Smash and Mario Kart. It's the fact with every Mario/ Zelda game they are declared the second coming of christ. I really do think it's a case of rose tinted glasses and nostalgia for many reviewers. As they likely played these games when they were growing up.

I'm not doubting their quality one bit. They are probably fantastics games. I just don't into all the critical acclaim they recieve.

@Bri-Die I started with Ocarina of Time because it's the Zelda game people talk about the most. I wasn't particularly aiming it at Zelda. It's just the game of the moment lol. I feel the same about Mario games.

Take for example the Galaxy games. While fun games I feel they are far from the masterpieces they are made out to be.

@kyleforrester87 Sorry I only skimmed through the comments. Must have missed yours lol. My bad. I can probably say hand on heart the only Nintendo franchise I properly enjoy is pokemon. I don't know why but I'm just a sucker for Pokemon games.

Is it just me or does anybody else feel Nintendo games get a free pass a lot of the time. Particularly Mario and Zelda. While I believe Mario games are fun titles, I fail to see the adulation that are put on the games.

I've only played one Zelda game. Ocarina of time on the 3DS and while it was a good game. (8.5/10) In my opinion, many put it on this unreachable pedastal that no other game can ever reach.

Before anybody turns it into a Horizon V Zelda debate, I am putting on record I've not played either game yet. It just seems every single Nintendo release gets met with wide critical acclaim which I feel is a bit over the top. Don't get me wrong they are usually fantastic games but not to the level some people make out.

Well if the leaked specs are to be belived the scorpio is nothing to write home about either. I will stick with the console that actually has games. Thanks very much Microsoft.

Easy to see why. The game is poor. I usually don't buy COD but this year I made an exception due to the remaster. I have played infinite warfare for about 10 minutes. COD4 on the other hand had me up til the early hours playing. Total nostalgia trip. Very well done remaster to by the way. The visuals have really been brought up to date.

@get2sammyb is the fan less noisy than the existing Model Sammy?.

The last thing I need is more games after buying Skyrim, Battlefield and Fifa 17. I hate being an adult with no time to play these games but yet I keep buying them.

It's why I always use this website. Sammy and everybody else always interact with their reader's. It's a nice touch. Also reviews are generally of a very high standard and informative. I would highly recommend this website over the likes of Gamespot and IGN, just for personality of this site alone.

Seems like a good game. However I haven't met anybody with much interest in it to be honest.

@hieveryone I'd imagine very similar. The switch is rumored to be more powerful than the xbox1 but around the same as the base ps4.

Not really interested but I think it should have came with one. While I am getting a pro I feel the system is not what it could be. Especially with Scorpio on the horizon.

I was in the beta. Decent update. Folders certainly tidy the screen. Nice addition.

@JesWood13 Sounds like you got a faulty seagate. I used one of them on my launch ps4 and if anything I noticed a nice speed boost. Nothing major but easily noticeable. I also another seagate on my ps3. A 1TB if I recall. That was also another good purchase. Again no complaints. My ps3 rain much smoother with that compared to the default one.

Still the game of the generation for me. Nothing has come close to besting it as of yet. To be honest I can't see anything on the horizon wheich will beat it either.

Bully and possibly Vice City could tempt me.

I just downloaded a program and plug the controller in via USB. No big deal really.

@Link41x Yeah but they also had PS3 Platinum trophies. Hopefully I'm wrong as I would like to play through the game again. It's still so good.

I love Kojima. He really does not leave a stone unturned when it comes to his work. Including logos. Everything is so fleshed out. It's fascinating really.

Still very much disagree with Journey being number 1 and a few other selections on that list.

@stupidget Hardly. Nintendo as much as we mock them have a serious stable of franchises. The Pokemon games have been around for almost two decades at this stage and still have incredible pulling power. I will admit I'm a huge fan of the serious and I play Go a little bit when I'm out and about. It really is a fantastic idea and I can see it staying longer than a few weeks.

Capcom can keep these. I really hated the secomd game.

Not a chance am I buying it after the way SE handled the whole situation.
