This is great news now I am excited for this game, as a huge star wars fan the last few years have been very disappointing games wise, hopefully this game might go towards changing that. Also ea have seen how well gow and spiderman have done and want a piece of that pie. I look forward to the reveal later.
I am glad I bought this before reading this review. I really like the game it feels a bit like Stranglehold or rise to honour, both games I love, so I am happy with it. Its on sale at the moment as well
I'm not too bothered about ps3 games but was annoyed they removed vita games and ps4/vita Cross play games. Compared to xbox games with gold and the xbox games pass, Sony is seriously falling behind. I did try ps now but I have 4 kids and when everyone is online the service was unusable and doesn't have the quality of games that xbox game pass has. Unless Sony has something new planned I think they have really messed up compared to xbox. Obviously just my opinion not facts
I love my vita, its what I play the most these days as my wife and kids take up all the tvs. It's a shame it didn't do better and have more games but with remote play it will last for years to come
We lose vita games and ps3 and we are rewarded with an old cod and a game that like some one already pointed out, if people wanted it they would have bought it cheap by now, so no I am not amused
In fairness I was hyped when this was originally announced but over time I seem to forget about it. I will buy it eventually but I'm not fussed about multiplayer one way or another
The hitman series was my favourite game series until absolution nearly killed it. The last game on ps4 was fantastic and was a more than welcome return to what made the original games great. Can't wait to get my hands on this one.
I disagree with this article, Sony has no obligation to keep its fans in the loop at all times. No company does, why would they tell everyone their plans if said plans aren't ready yet and could be hijacked or bettered by a rival?
This is a film about 2 soldiers called Paul Monster and James Hunter, set in a desert where they look for nuclear warheads but instead find an old man eating mushrooms with his brother in a cave 😂
Love this game, this and spiderman are my favourite games at the moment. Yes it has a lot of flaws like people have already pointed out, controls and wanted system, but for me the world is so full of life and things to do that I just get lost in it all for hours and suddenly realise I haven't done an actual mission for over an hour 😂 that to me is what makes it great, plus I love the wild West setting. Some people won't like it obviously as it may not be to their tastes but for me I would of put this one up to 11
That's a good list I will definitely be getting one, the only games missing for me are tomb raider and gran turismo/Colin mcrae rally but I have those on original disc so happy days
They should do a new version of GTA London or Vice city as others have suggested, I just hope they don't copy other devs and start making battle royal games
More of the same, nothing of interest to me. And can people stop saying there 'free' games unless I am the only person who pays for psplus they are not free.
For me resident evil died of t virus exposure when they released the God awful re6, capcom are broke and are desperately trying to cash in on the franchise name with all these re-release titles coz they don't have money to make a good solid game from scratch. Such a shame as re has always been one of my favourite franchises. I wish they would sell the rights to a studio who will do the series justice and win back a lot of the fans like me who have just given up on the series.
In saying that I am really looking forward to the re2 remake but seeing this and there recent efforts (except the gamecube remakes) I am not that confident it will be that good.
It's a good game but it is very limited in content at the moment. Compared to battlefront 2 there is so much missing. No space battles being the main thing I miss, but hopefully this new update is the beginning of the improvements that could make it the game we all hoped for.
I think the reason for the strange rollout is the same reason a lot of companies are practically begging people to pre order games. It gives them an idea of sales figures and thus determines how much money they can spend developing the title. Maybe they feel after absolution the game might not sell that well and this way they can keep the development costs low and use the initial sales money to pay for the development of the rest of the content/game.
It's a decent game I enjoyed it but ultimately I never actually finished it. I don't think this deal is a good one though, as somebody above already said you can buy the disc version for £5 or less.
Another month of rubbish on ps+. Not a single game here appeals to me, I like many others are getting fed of all these indie titles. If I want to play games of that quality I will boot up my ZX spectrum at least that has some nostalgic value. After almost 2 years of ps4 there is no excuse on Sonys part for the complete lack of AAA titles other than they don't want to pay developers for the software. Microsoft must be laughing their heads off at Sony.
I can't believe there is actually games I want on the list this month, I am in shock. Wanted to try lara croft too, have limbo on ps3 so am happy to get it on my ps4, only God of war I never played was ascension so I am happy with that as Well. The rest are just a bonus for me.
I really hope he gets hired by Netflix to make an original metal gear solid tv show/anime series, his style of writing and the length and depth in his storylines would be perfectly suited to a long running show.
I still play thps3 and 4 and American wasteland on ps2, so even if it does have crappy graphics but it plays like the old games (not them last 2 on ps3) then I will be buying it. I'm hoping it's a psn title for about £15 or so but either way I will be happy once it plays like the old games.
Handhelds are dying out because of smartphones plain and simple, everyone has a smartphone in their pocket these days and they can play free to play games, or paid titles from the various stores on each of the platforms, and if on xperia devices you can also do ps4 remote play. All these factors equals "Handhelds now irrelevant"
This is sad as I own a vita, but unfortunately it's the truth, soon handhelds will be gone forever.
There are a few bugs in this game but overall I think it's fantastic. The game is very realistic and at times the game punishes you if your driving is anything less than perfect but that's what makes it such a great game. Modern games (especially racing) can be far to easy with unlimited restarts, gameplay rewinds and various other options to help you get through, but this doesn't, it's old skool, it makes you become good at the game to win. If you love racing games and you want a challenge then this is the game for you, if you want an easy game that your children can play then stick with need for speed.
Racing games are my preferred genre and this looks like it's shaping up nicely. Hopefully they get the feeling and handling of the cars right as everything else is looking good so far.
This device is pointless, just get a vita, or like me get a Sony xperia z3 smartphone, you can install any apps from the Android store so you get Netflix, bbc iplayer all the UK tv services, you get all the Sony streaming services and from November you can use remote play on ps4 to stream your games. It also has native support for dualshock 3 and 4 so you can play all the games off the Android store or your ps4. And if you want you can install a ps emulator to play ps games cheap.
The gameplay in Driveclub is very good, it's a nice refreshing change to GT and Forza and is more accessible to casual race fans as it's not a sim. Also as mentioned already the tracks make a nice change from racing the same real world tracks we have been doing for years. And I don't understand all the fuss about the online side of things look how bad GTAV was for months with all the connectivity problems and hacking but yet everyone still loves GTA. If they had never mentioned a free version I don't think there would be half as much negativity around this title.
If you buy the full game upgrade it's only £35 (UK) and to be honest I have been playing on the offline mode and the game itself is very enjoyable and as there is a lack of racers on ps4 I would recommend driveclub. I don't care about the online features so for the lower price of £35 I am very happy with this game.
