@get2sammyb Did you pull for Ruan Mei? I've got Tingyun E6 amd Bronya E1 so not sure if I should get her or save my jades for when Penacony gets released plus we're getting Dr Ratio for free not sure if Hoyo would be generous enough to give his LC for free too though. One can only hope.

Yup HSR has taken over most of my gaming time. I even log in to their website daily for the extra rewards. I've never done that for any other game.

Only one I got wrong was Spider man 2 winning an award. Gotta check my biases. Also is there a way to check what we voted for just in case my ego has rewritten memories.

@Cloud7794 @Nepp67 Think of your thumb as split into 2. Front and back. The back is the half that applies pressure to the down button and the front does the qcf motion. This is what I figured out after decades of fighting games and it's 99% effective for me.

Can't wait for 3v3. Elphelt is great and all but I'd like Slayer and Venom back too.

@Terra_Custodes Yea it feels that way for me too. My video game consumption has been declining sharply over the years. I remember when watching a cutscene or cg trailer for a game used to get me hyped because back then they still put effort into making the actual game stand out. Now it seems they use the trailers to mask the train wreck they're trying to peddle. Its the current state of society that's causing this level of censorship but humans shift trends every 10 to 20 years or so. Another decade to go I guess.

You can buy the key for the upcoming dungeon in D2 for the same price as one of the witcher skins. That's insane. All the weapons in that "starter" pack can be gotten for free.

Yea the "Gamer protection organizations" are severely lacking and game mags and sites have to be careful what they say so as not to be "excluded" which sucks. The extortion and victimization of gamers will continue for years to come.

I agree with you but "idiots" is a bit extreme. It's more likely they are "vulnerable" so these studios are taking advantage. A lot more 12 yr olds play cod than 18 and above. Anyone who uses team chat can tell it's mostly kids on.

@Flaming_Kaiser The only games I day 1 now are Sony first party games. Everything else is a wait and see. I'm still playing D2 but that's because I paid for the yearly pass for lightfall thinking it would be as good as witch queen but I was so wrong. That's the last money bungie will see from me for a long while. Their advertising is also false as it says "free to play" when in fact most of the content is locked behind pay walls so it should be "free to try".

@Flaming_Kaiser Yea the new generation think buying the skins is how you pay for the game. My nephew asked me for £50 to spend on Roblox and that was his reasoning. Now that gaming is more widespread we defo need some kind of enforcement policy cause innocents are getting taken advantage of.

@Terra_Custodes You're still on topic as DLC was the demise of "free" which was actually a full game because they did all the hard work to ensure their games sold. Not to say they still don't do hard work but if you look at Sony first party games they are full games and the DLC is an add on which is how DLC was supposed to be. Not charging players almost full game price for characters or maps that should have been in the full build or a nostalgia skin.

@Flaming_Kaiser I believe their reasoning was that they don't see it making much profit in its current iteration. Meaning it's not MTX hell enough

@Terra_Custodes The only dlc I got for T7 was Noctis from ff15 but begrudgingly as the same company released link, yoda, vader in soul calibur for free back in the day.

@Terra_Custodes You're probably right. These so called "dlc" characters are being advertised even before the game launches now. Means it's purely a predatory attempt to make more money from gamers as these characters could have been put in the initial launch even if it had to be delayed by a few months.

@themightyant That sounds pretty useless especially since all the items you mentioned can be gotten in a 2 hr free session. to charge 10 bucks for that is unforgivable.

@Terra_Custodes Yea being a fighting game fan I remember the full roster glory days. Tekken 8 seems like the only one willing to uphold that tradition which is why it's the only one I shall purchase out of the big 3. Gamers need to vote with their wallets. If they stop buying this crap the studios will stop peddling but then again they hire staff who know how to abuse and influence gambling addiction. It's pretty disgusting when you think about it. No wonder there's more negativity in the gaming sphere.

How can they justify a skin with no added benefits and that you can only see during cutscenes and in inventory for £20 same price as a dungeon filled with weapons, enemies, exotics, lore and it's own unique gear?

Yeah his voice does sound weird and thanks for the image as now I see the concern with his face compared to his original look. Still no word on Lei Wulong or did Jackie Chan's lawyers finally have a word with Bamco? Looks like I'll be getting this out of the big 3, neither MK or SF had me thirsting for combat.

@TheCollector316 I really hope they sort out the repetition or at least make it more entertaining. I haven't been back to the Ghosts of the deep dungeon since I got the navigator and its catalyst. That grind almost made me delete the game.

Isn't final shape supposed to be 3 seasons instead of 4 and they will all be playable unlike now where the previous season content is removed. If this is the case I will wait till all the seasons are complete and they've fixed what needs fixing along the way.

@Mythologue The conversation began because of the complaints. I do understand what angle you're coming from but there is so much nuance within this topic that a general blanket that the complaints are unimportant shows you have not taken the time to read them.

@Flaming_Kaiser Haha yea sometimes they do go over the top where form has no practical function. In those instances I just laugh it off cause they must have done it as a joke. Older gamers grew up watching Arthur lose his armour and run around in his underwear. Same with Gill and Urien from SF3 fighting in thongs. Urien rips up his suit to fight in a thong. This sexualised depiction is always done to males so I still have difficulty understanding when people say it can't/shouldn't be done with female characters.

@Flaming_Kaiser I get what you're saying about female armour in rpg's and to be honest I used to think that too. Then you look at comparisons in real life and the only 2 groups of women warriors I can think of that existed were the Amazons and the African women warrior tribes. Their armour sets were also minimalist like in rpgs. Makes sense as men have more stamina to run around with heavy equipment. For those who think that was a sexist remark blame the army training around the world as they have different weights sets for male and female training. I think because males are sexualised as standard in games you can no longer tell. A much higher percentage of men are overweight and obese than healthy let alone ripped and yet its that minority that heavily represented in most games with added chiseled features and machismo. Devs are just balancing the scales on the females part but yet people complain.

It's pretty pathetic and hypocritical how some commenters on here and in society are so quick to put others down for their female aesthetic preferences in the games they want to play when male characters have and are constantly being oversexualized and hypermasculine. No one complained for decades of having to watch snake go prone and crawl for hours with his skin tight suit and perfectly shaped buns but lara croft crawls through 1 tunnel and all hell breaks loose. Fighting game males are always half naked and hyper masculine. Go complain about those first and maybe I'll consider your points of view.

It's probably down to Chinese gov censorship. I believe they have an actual morality police force now. I am against this type of censorship especially since all male characters tend to be bishounen. But if a dude complains about this stuff there is always the "perv" icon prescribed to him. (incoming rant)The prime directive of live is to replicate we shouldn't shame or censor anyone's preferences so long as it's within legal bounds. I recall team ninja adding a "boob jiggle" function to ninja gaiden 2 cutscenes with the dual shock mechanism back in the day. Gamers found stuff like that funny back then. Now the devs would have pitchforks outside their offices and get cancelled.

PS console generations have always been like fine wine. They get better with age. Here's hoping to a Neurolink VRMMO future.

@dnb Haha They create these "issues"to distract you from the real issues. Gamers probably spend more time online than most. If they rallied and confronted any of the major companies that caused and continue to cause the cost of living crisis they'd probably make a dent but instead we are here.

With Sony in the firing line we should expect more cases against studios who abuse MTX. Hopefully as this trend needs to die. I wonder if I can get an AI lawyer to get the ball rolling.

Dunno why they're asking Bungie for advice on such matters. Surely it's in Bungie's best interest that none of those games outshine destiny. It's like being asked to interview someone for your job when you just got hired. Most people I know can only handle 1 or 2 live service games at a time.

I do want Argenti but don't think I've got enough jades to get his signature light cone. Great to see this game doing well on ps5 also. hopefully with all the extra cash they're raking in they can get more staff and release more content sooner.

I think MCU's downfall was when they tried to unify everything(make everything a joke like Thor) The comics always had different writers and artists and it only ever came together at the big showdowns. They all had their own unique flairs in the beginning. Well at least they still have the yack multiverse reset option for reboots.

I lost all interest in MCU after Waititi absolutely ruined Planet Hulk. That was one of the best arcs Marvel comics had ever made.
