@TrickyDicky99 They will all attempt to do their own versions of steam and epic stores. Ms even doing a collaboration with samsung to stream xbox games directly through their TV's. Sony will probably do the same with their own brand. The need for consoles is fast approaching it's end.

@tselliot Yea same. I've got a decent rig and got the game pass for £1 when back for blood came out. Streaming and PC is most likely the way forward.

@theMEGAniggle Agreed, but now you got companies saying "this is the best you we can do on console" then a year or more later a superior version comes out on PC. If this trend continues I will end up avoiding the console exclusive releases and wait for the final PC version. Lots of my friends are of the same mind so we can't be the only ones who think that way. Remasters should be left to at least 2 gens of a console then it would be at the PC's level.

@uptownsoul Indeed, can't wait either but I hope they don't put the spideyverse costume in the next one. All my gamer eyes saw in the dlc was lag and I had to change the costume within 2 mins of swinging.

@theMEGAniggle And there in lies my issue with TLOU remastered remastered. PC gamers will get the best version of it eventually which would most likely be a better version than what the PS5 can do.

@Fight_Teza_Fight Strictly PC gamers aren't going to buy a console for exclusives. Everyone who thinks that way already has a console. Myself included. So this will be a long term gain for Sony. An almost 5 yr old game is gaining such sale numbers is a great thing.

@Flaming_Kaiser Yea it was this game that got me into sniping. I had always hated it before but that class was so much fun to use that I always go for sniper rifles as primary weapon in games now even though they don't compare to KZ3.

@Flaming_Kaiser You're absolutely right. I didn't finish it either. Was this down to publishers insane demands? as they probably wanted some cod monees. I recall them falling out with sony for something or other when this came out.

Killzone 3 was the best online fps i've played. Shame about shadow fall, how did they get that so wrong.

@get2sammyb Infinitely deep pockets you mean. Sony has to use every trick to stay alive and competitive. We all know what happened to Sega and even Nintendo had to say no to the graphics wars and become an Island nation.

Hope Sony buys them and makes ff14 available on ps plus.

I played a few matches yesterday. Vantage was fun but her bat takes too long to reach its destination (sort of like Loba's teleport ring) was hoping it was faster as you can get taken out waiting for it to get to the location. Her Ult has 4 stacks which is helpful but the tracer beam is a nuisance as sniping with a controller is difficult enough without your position being exposed while you aim. Wingman pistol now uses sniper ammo and spit fire is light ammo, dunno why they made such weird changes. The battle pass sucks as always. Only decent weapon cosmetics are at lv 100. They really need to hire new or get more staff to work on the weapons. Season Kills/ stats should not be a battle pass reward and should be removed as majority of players turn that off anyway as it causes players in the 1k+ kills to quit before the match starts.

I preferred the Project Magnum name. Been keeping an eye out for this, hopefully can get on the beta.

I don't like tencent cause they murdered paragon. That game had so much potential. It wasn't everyone's cup of tea but for some of us it came pretty close to sliced bread.

@UltimateOtaku91 Nah I'm cool with Yuri. It's Iyo's internal voice at the end that i'm referring to. It's pretty common now and seen as okay in anime but if that was a guys internal voice would be seen as disturbing or dark is what I meant.

I'm pretty sure it's something outrageous like £200 in apex legends to get character specific heirloom weapons when they have those events on. Although you do get all the other event cosmetics for that amount it's the fact you have to go through that to get it especially since most of the cosmetics tend to be for characters I don't use or like. I can see why ActiB would try this out. It's worse on mobile games.

Doesn't Netherealm studios come under WB umbrella? Or is it just Multiversus we will see/ hear about? Hoping for new MK or Injustice, mk x dc or a brand new gory fighter. New Soul calibur would be great with actual cutscenes and weapons with stats like the old days.

I really like the fact they keep improving the game. The spaceship and mech battles are pretty cool too. They significantly reduced the crafting material costs to build them also. So not much of a grind.

@BoldAndBrash It's pretty easy I think. I got into warframe about 5 years ago and it's been around for 10 years. Just take your time and complete all the nodes on the solar system and the quests. By the time you are done with those you would pretty much know the ins and outs of the game.

@GagaOooLaLa haha I completely agree with your review of the first episode. The 1 zero v hero moments were so immersion destroying especially since the zeros tend to attack as a group. This version of Wesker is pretty cool. I think it's an interesting take do far but I hope the violence ramps up. There best be more giant monsters at they are the scariest in the games. @naruball I assumed those reading comments on here were intelligent enough to know or at least verify that a comment has some research behind it rather than responding with bile for their own purposes. In case you haven't figured it out, my description of the term "cash grab" was from the dictionary. Interpret an already defined definition all you want but the facts were in my comment also. Seems like you still don't get it. This will be the 3rd time they will be releasing the same game and in a short span of time. It is not considered a labor of love nor is it new and from a company who have established themselves as a dominant force for story driven content. Taking those factors into account makes it the very definition of the term.

@Balosi There's uproar for some good reasons but mine is mostly the fact that I like the work this studio does so I'd rather see/ hear of them firing on all cylinders to bring something new to all of us rather than this attempt to entice a new crowd and fleece the old.

So many comments on here confused at the meaning of "cash grab". It is a product designed primarily or solely with the intent of generating profits or money. Some will give the inane response to that statement that "well aren't all games cash grabs then?" To which I will respond "No". They have already released this game twice and now they expect gamers to be excited a third time because they promise some additional bells and whistles? This is what Capcom did with RE4 back in the day as well as SF4. I was one of the dumb gamers who bought every version expecting something special each time. Lesson learned. Don't be fooled. Vote with your wallets so this trend dies out once and for all.

Absolute cash grab. With sony consoles, studios barely scratch the capabilities of their potential when they are first released. It's usually towards the end of the consoles life span that we see the best quality games(gameplay/ story aside). This remake should be left till then if it wasn't a cash grab. Every company is feeling the effects of the pandemic. They are just milking a successful franchise to gauze the financial wound.

@JJ2 Being able to check the primary source would be the best option to get to the truth but in most cases that's just not possible. Especially so when it comes to the high priority topics and events going on in the world. Too many times we've just had to "take their word for it" only to end up finding out it was a lie from the start. Usually once the damage has been done and so much time has passed that the only people crying out for and care about justice are just those directly affected. And the outlets don't get any flak at all.

@Uncharted2007 That's what I typically do but sometimes there's just so much noise to filter though I just end up not caring about the subject anymore. Can't even look forward to AI being honest as they will probably be corrupted out of the box.

Same. For the longest time it seemed the western actors didn't care about what they were doing when translating. The tone and inflections were all wrong and would ruin an otherwise amazing cutscene or conversation. Most notably female actors in games and anime. This is improved greatly over the years but I still watch or play in the language of the country of origin.

So long as I can set up their equipment, magic and battle preferences I'm cool with that. Nothing like letting a friendly npc take the brunt of an attack so I can use a potion or healing spell.
