Yea very under rated series. I recall only using the snk characters mostly in cvs, cvs2 and svc. I must admit my most played kof was maximum impact though lol. There was just something about that game that kept me playing for so long.
Is the roll back netcode system owned by arcsys? was strive the first game to implement it?

I don't like either of them as actors so will be giving this a miss on netflix also. I very much prefer a show like Spriggan for my archeological heists. Think i'm done with the Indiana Jones type of characters.

@throwmeaname Really? Ive finished part 1 and it's practically the same so far. I don't think they will divert too much from the original. You know how fanboys like to complain when studios do that.

How is ff7 getting a higher vote? Most have played it already, you know how it ends. Better graphics and improved gameplay is great but ff story has always been the main draw for me.

Looks good but been fooled by capcom with sf4 and learned my lesson (ended up buying 3 versions of the same game). I now know I can wait years to get the finished product as I did with sf5. Thanks to psn+.

Shame articles keep forgetting to mention Gurren Lagan when studio Trigger's name pops up. It's an amazing anime. Glad u guys did. Looking forward to this though, is it feature length or a series? I'm hoping series would really like to see night city explored. I spent most of my playthrough murdering everyone that was murderable as revenge for the bugs.

Even though i'm really looking forward to this I can't wait to see what netherealm has in store also. I'm glad capcom followed their lead and did a single player campaign. Internet connections and match making aren't at a point where they can carry fighting games fully imo.

@sjbsixpack No not really as I grew up playing resident evil, silent hill etc. Once I started playing survival horror games those feelings disappeared when watching films or shows. I'm usually just annoyed by how useless they are.

@AdamNovice I get what you mean, but they never get it right when they divert from the source material even with the same leads and when they try to keep everything the same it falls flat because the main attraction of games is that the players actions/ involvement influence or move the story along something which live action adaptations will never come close to. Watching Joel hiding behind a desk as a clicker approaches will have less of an effect on me than when I had a controller in my hand under the same conditions. TLOU2 turned unknown side characters from part 1 into mains. They could easily do a show based on the fireflies trying to meet up with Joel and Ellie. We all know what happens in Joel's story so I would really enjoy watching things from the firefly's perspective or even what Joel's brother had to go through would make for an interesting story.

Most of the games these shows are based off are already well written and immersive there will mostly be complaints about the adaptations if its the main characters from the games. Why is it so difficult to use new characters and keep the lore and setting? LOU is pretty much walking dead. No need to ruin it by attempting to retell the Joel and Ellie story it will never be as good as the game. These directors will always try to make it their "own" by diverting from the source material to "create a unique experience". We have seen this over and over again and they mostly fail.

Wouldn't mind playing a Jojo X Fist of the north star fighter.

Seeing Barbatos again gave me chest pains.What a sad series and they were my favorite characters also.

MW was fun I'll be keeping an eye on this hoping for the same. Sick of ww2 & cold war weapons they look ugly.

@MrGawain I thought so at first, but with all the cool stuff 1-5 people teams are showing on the ue5 engine that takes them a couple of months makes me think that it makes the dev process more streamlined so we might see more games pop up. Especially now they own studios like megascans.

Most of the battle pass skins are hideous but the special events ones tend to be the best u can save up your crystals to buy those when they come around. I think destiny and warframe are more predatory as you have to pay for characters and weapons. Not many people have the Hema weapon still and that's been out for years.

This needs more time in the oven, especially the animations. That mutant owl assassin fight scene was pretty bad. Jumping club to the face and hood staggers slightly? that should have knocked him halfway across the room.

I do not see Sony having an issue doing both. With sufficient funding from them I wouldn't mind a live service infamous or killzone. Fighting to take control of the various planets would be pretty sweet.

@Mylo you're right. All you do is open the UE4 project in UE5 engine and it prompts you to update the entire file so yes 1 click and it's done.

Noooo not everything needs a videogame adaptation. Majority of the anime is them running away from boss level monsters why the heck are they fighting them with sticks in this? Least they could have done is make it a survival horror, see monster run and hide or use gadgets to make clean break.

DNF Duel, the first few matches were brutal as no training mode or command list and the buttons are pretty different from other fighting games, its like a cross between guilty gear strive and smash bros once I figured that out I got sweet sweet revenge on the guy who beat me five games in a row with a nice 28-11 final score. My aching thumbs are very satisfied.

ouch for adding re3 to your list. Guess you didn't care much for the remake. I'd like to see parasite eve on there capcom vs snk 2, marvel vs capcom 2, zone of enders 2nd runner, god hand, soul calibur 2&3, Onimusha 2&3. So many more but these will be some of the first I play. Shame capcom or sony haven't bought sega then we might have a chance to enjoy powerstone 2 again.

Never heard of Ghost Corp before. They a new studio specifically for making the franchise games? If so poor ***** as this franchise is on a tight leash when it comes to creativity. The last time I enjoyed this was extreme ghost busters, hopefully they can bring that back best creature designs and stories of the franchise.

Anyone considered that platinum might also have a junior or sister team to the main one that does all the heavy hitters. I'd like to think so. As for Babylon Fail this was the first time I tried to see how hideous I could make a character and I also fell asleep with controller in hand.

@MatthewJP use short circuit cyber attack to finish them as its non-lethal. i kept them all alive. theres also a non-lethal mod you can get for your guns cant remember where i got if from though.

Hmmm... I learnt my lesson with SF4 I practically had 3 copies of the same game with added bits. They did the same with SF5 and probably will with 6. Their milk the fans business model works well. I'll save my money till the final edition comes out.

From your instas to tictocks, pintrests and youtubes to their counterparts the world over, only difference is the perception that women are in control of the content. All social media is showing is how to be your "most attractive self" Any intelligent person knows these are all fake but its seen as okay as its a business. Hot girls in games were attacked because it was the stigma of nerdy guys who would never get a date who designed them and to society that was unacceptable. The majority of devs at the time where dudes who were ostracized and bullied so of course they were a group that would cave under pressure. Unfortunately that nonsense stuck so now even though your thinking is on some level correct, to think negatively of someone who wants their protagonist in a game they paid for to be attractive is also a problem that needs to be addressed. The expectation of "real" women is also something that needs addressing, I think you should say western or westernised women cause most women live in the rest of the world and i've heard some different opinions from women in my time. Quick question, if every man in the US and UK decided they did not want to be in the army anymore do you believe women would step up and say "yea, I'll fill the gap and defend my country" or the general response will be "stop being a p***y and get back to work"? Willingness to be on the frontline and dying in some war is an unrealistic expectation of men but no one says anything cause society expects men to just be that guy. Videogames offer us an opportunity to test social constructs and I feel we should be more explorative and less dismissive regardless of the stance.
