I'm enjoying it more since I stuck to the main scenarios. I think I'm at a mandatory join with other players section though. The Moogle king bit and even after 20 mins of it waiting to find other players nothing. I did fine with dungeon NPC's so why isn't that an option anymore?

@LowDefAl Thanks dude. That's got me motivated to continue. I haven't played it in a few days but the last quest I did was the "Summon Titan" job quest as I'm a summoner. Also loot for this class sucks at the mo.

I wasn't sure if I should continue but if I am in fact still at the tutorial phase till Lv 50(story missions right?) just to get new players up to speed with the ARR segments and can expect a significant improvement there after then I will slog it through. Now while I'm doing this if they can announce a FF8 remake...

I'm not sure what the hype is for ff14. I've been playing it a week or so (30 day trial). I'm on lv 40 and it's been endless fetch quests with a bit of story in between and that's if you focus on the main story which you're forced to do or the side quests and job quests remain locked till you progress. If anyone else is playing it, at what point does it get better?

Didn't some politician in China get arrested recently and they found $200 million cash all around his house. Some was hidden in the walls. They're going hard on corruption over there but only on the collaborative with foreign powers kind. The domestic versions are still given free reign.

The characters aren't beloved enough to be in a smash type game. Bugs and co have been almost obsolete for decades now. Who was their demographic? They're better off using Netherealm to make their horror universe and launch each new character with their origin story and theme for each season. I'd pay more interest in that than whatever this was trying to be.

Horizon is an okay game I've played it a couple of times always got about half way through and got bored. It's great that there are players who think it's fantastic but that goes to show you that everyone has preferences. I've seen a few comments on here talking about how much money it made meaning it's an awesome game but as I've mentioned I bought it too and never cared to complete it and I'm pretty sure I'm not alone in this.

Killzone 2 and 3 were my go to FPS games back in the day and that's when I had all 3 consoles so I had Cod and Halo too but preferred the Killzone franchise out of the 3. If a decent remake is released I'd probably choose that instead also. I'd say the least Sony should do is see if there's a worthwhile proposal and GDD presented cause at the end of the day their IP's represent their brand even if they never see the light of day again. Alternatively they could do what Epic did with Paragon but lock them into releasing it on their platform and see what comes of it.

I saw the list of animals the characters turn into. Why are they all mostly from earth just at larger sizes? MK usually has cool and unique creature designs in the stage backgrounds so why didn't they tap into those for the non earth characters animalities? I turned a blind eye to this back in the day but now there's just no excuse for creative laziness.

VIII was and will always be the best FF imo. Juctioning was amazing. seed exams while I was having exams in school was a kick in the teeth but fit the narrative. It was the only FF where the player truly lived the characters lives before the madness began. Every other game plops you in the middle of battle after the game begins and you learn their back story along the way.

Looks like "Gonna Take you for a ride" is going to be the internal BGM of my life once again. When is the 2nd collection coming out? Wang Tang main once again and if they get the online aspect right this time it's going to be a major deal.

Yea Blade wasn't my main long enough lol. They did Dhil dirty too after all the hype now I barely use him. Only on special occasions with Sparkle.
Yea both Kafka and Swan would be nice but there can be only one. Since Swan builds stacks as quickly as Jiaoqiu she might be better with Acheron who's also my main damage dealer.

Lingsha might be a good replacement for Gal. I'm not liking the Break fad. A decent company would rework existing characters but I guess its all about the zeni.

Yea saw the launch window and was not pleased. This is defo a "squeeze players move" How is Kafka getting a 2nd rerun before other characters 1st? They must have looked at player stats and realised most players don't have decent DoT teams. As DoT main who would you suggest, Kafka or Swan?

Hmm... I need to see the contents of the allegations before I condemn the man. Most game devs (that I know of) are pretty nerdy with limited exposure to the opposite gender. The ruling narrative in our society for men (which is pretty unfortunate) is "be successful and women will like you". I've known enough genuine guys who have approached girls and been treated like they were about to murder them.

Looking forward to the new boss. Shame no new story content till end of year. Just got Ultimate Gley (can't say no to infinite rocket launcher)will be leveling her up for a while so I can take my time grinding for these 2.

It's a really good game and I enjoy it quite a bit. Yes it's flashy as hell but once you know your combos (not very complicated) and you've fought certain enemies a few times you know the animations of what their attack is so you can either dodge or counter. I got ChangLi who's probably got the flashiest move sets and after some practice I know exactly what's going on. I will say though that in their version of "Simulated Universe" you get additional skills and sometimes the entire screen is filled with SFX and then the enemies corpses.

Isn't the rule "If they have giant eyes and a triangle nose they're not humans they're a cat species"? You will notice this in the majority of anime too. If they're going to add a character with melanin they're usually portrayed correctly if all the other characters are humans too (for those of you thinking DBZ). This game is about humanoid cats in a cat universe no reason to get offended but I do see where you are coming from.

@themightyant Lol same. Looks like the RnG gods favour me playing WuWa over Star Rail. Jinshi is a lot of fun to play and I'm looking forward to ChangLi.

@themightyant Damn that sucks. The combat is less mashy than ZZZ or Genshin. Each character has their own combinations, Synergies and timings(plus digimon). Hopefully they bring it to console soon so more players can get stuck in.

I played this for a couple of hrs yesterday but I'm still on the fence. Wuthering Waves is still more fun to play so far. It's between those 2 for which I will keep playing. Seeing as there's star rail and first descendant on my daily plays.

Phew, good thing I didn't purchase it on discount last week.

Really enjoying this at the moment. Has a few minor issues that need ironing out but to be expected on day 1. Lots of warframe comparisons in comments online and that's a good thing. It's about time others look up to a great game that's f2p and been going strong for 13 years. Before anyone tries to say "Destiny 2 is f2p". It's not. Tell me a single player that has Conditional finality Shotgun without buying the Lightfall expansion.

@DarianStarfrog For some reason PS doesn't give Warframe much love. I deleted destiny 2 when cross save came out for it and been on there daily. Heck it's the first game I know of to have a playable pregnant character that kicks major ass. Just saying. You'd think that would at least get a mention as gaming news.

Wow dreams do come true. I was literally searching the web last night thinking there was bound to be a MvC2 version for at least steam that I could purchase. This is the best news of the year so far. My Cyclops and Ryu teamups are back. Now if they can kindly give me some news on powerstone 2.

@PuppetMaster There aren't that many around anymore. I was giving an example of how things used to be. Now it's just a comment or so a year from the devs. If they did drip reveals like they used to these hackers would most likely give up. They'd probably drum up even more hype for their games as gamers try to dissect what's happening in the images.

This series is pretty amazing. Reminds me of attack on titan but with kaiju. Not sure if a gacha system will work for this seeing as they all wear the same uniforms. The appeal of gacha is that there is diversity in the characters looks and skills.
If this game doesn't feature destructible environments its not going to be worth it to me.
