@Exlee300p The games on Gamepass are quality games so, I don't know where you got this assumption that I like sh*t ass games. In fact, majority of games on PSNow and PS+ are third party games.

You can still buy a game even if you've played it on GP. If God of War Ragnarok was released day one on PSNow, I can play it right away without paying $70 and if I want to revisit the game after my PSNow expires then I can buy it for a cheaper price. That's how it works on GP.

Playstation is known for their single-player game. I highly doubt they will move away from this and they are already incorporating multiplayer modes on their games with GoT and the upcoming Factions on TLOU2 without adding these games on PSNow.

I don't really get the mentality of supporting a billion dollar company such as Sony. As a consumer, I should look out for my own wallet and not give sympathy to a corporation that has millions of dollars in their bank account.

@Gamer83 What's wrong with PS selling their games on PC? They will still earn money by selling a copy of their games regardless of the platform.

@JJ2 I think its a win for Sony. They already got millions of dollars with that Gamepass deal even before they release the game, plus the money they would earn from the physical and digital sales on both platforms.

@Exlee300p I have PSNow, PS+ and Gamepass PC. MS simply offers the better value, no matter how you look at it. PSNow will only add three games with a few indie games per month, while MS added EA Play, Bethesda Games plus like 10 games last month on Gamepass PC.

Renting vs Owning games is subjective but with GPU you can play their exclusive games on day one and if you really want to own the game, you can buy it when its dirt cheap. Imagine God of War Ragnarok and HFW day one on PSNow, who the f-ck doesn't want that?

@AhmadSumadi Sony and MS cannot please everyone in their fanbase, but it is not hard to see which subscription service offer better value just by looking at the games available.

@Rondoooo9 GP is certainly not free, but the amount of games you get to play versus the price you pay is almost robbery. $180 for 3 years and you get to play new games on day one. If you want to play MLB the Show upon its release date, you will need to buy it for $70.

@Waffles12415 The amount of subscribers will negate the cost to produce games in the long run.

@sanderson72 PS exclusive will still keep the PS brand afloat. GP is only an option, its not the be-all and end-all of console gaming.

@Voltan That's why the news of PS exclusives coming to PC shouldn't spawn claims that it will ruin PS altogether.

@TrueAssassin86x Playstation is only on the lead on first-party exclusive games but their subscription service is inferior to Xbox. I think any gamer can clearly see this.

Its surreal to see the Gamepass Logo then the PS Studios Logo when you watch the announcement.

@Voltan Outriders is only free on console with Gamepass and not on PC, but it is still a great deal for Xbox owners.

@PossibLeigh You cannot expect Cyberpunk to pull off a No Man's Sky comeback. CDPR is only fixing the bugs and the missing features wouldn't be possible to add unless they overhauled the game, while NMS wasn't launched in a broken state. There were tons of gameplay features that was missing but it is not the main or core features of the game.

I bet the only reason why CDPR is fixing Cyberpunk is to prepare it for the multiplayer mode and add tons of microtransaction to it while HG keeps adding content to NMS for free.

It would have been better if Cyberpunk Online was a standalone product as intended to fix the core elements of the game but I guess the stock investors at CDPR doesn't have the patience to wait for the developers to create the game that was promised from the start. And oh yeah. I'm not targeting you or anything.

@Flaming_Kaiser You don't need to make a point because that is your own preference. Cloud gaming is merely an option that Gamepass subscribers can get from the service. Tbh, it would be great if PSNow can offer the same thing.

@Flaming_Kaiser Why wouldn't it be a plus? Cloud gaming is basically giving you an option to play games on any device that you want.

There is a good chance that Sony will release Returnal on PC. I'll probably wait for this game on Epic/Steam or wait till I get a PS5 and buy it for a cheaper price.

I haven't touched my PSNow since Hitman 2 was available but I'm happy that I will get another PS5 game when I eventually get one.

Gamepass will have Outriders day one tomorrow but on consoles only, and you can play gamepass games on your mobile phone now without the Xbox controller. Xbox have been very active these past few months compared to PS.

@PossibLeigh No Man's Sky initial problem was the missing features not the performance issues.

@PossibLeigh No Man's Sky is a live service but doesn't have microtransactions. I highly doubt CDPR is generous enough to be dedicated on a project that doesn't earn them money in the long run.

They will probably promote the multiplayer again after they earn some goodwill by releasing Witcher 4.

@ShiningStar I didn't know that if you choose the PS5 with the disc drive, it makes you automatically poor? What kind of logic is that?

The text of Civ 6 on PC is almost unreadable that I gave up playing it. Good thing it was free on Epic. I'll probably try it again if turns out to be a PS+ game.

I'm trying Watch Dogs Legion on my PS4 Pro because its free during the weekend. The 30fps looks like a slideshow and the graphics seems to be set on low to medium setting compared to my PC playthrough.

Probably, the most boring gameplay trailer I've seen in a while. Everything looks generic that it reminds you of every sci-fi fps game possible.

@TheArt I won't totally say that Sony and MS prioritizes graphics over framerates considering that PS4 and XBX1 are running on checkerboard rendering at 30fps and not even on native 4K. PS5 can't even run Hitman 3 on native 4k.

I've tried playing multi-platform games on both PC and console, and it is noticeable that the consoles compensate many graphical features/setting for the games to run well.

@TheArt The reason why 60fps are not prioritized on consoles before is because Sony and MS wants to lower the cost of PS4/XBX1.

I can notice the low res quality of games on consoles but not the low framerates because the gameplay is mostly smooth and stable. However, I cannot stand 30fps when I play on PC.

@Flaming_Kaiser I actually stop playing FF7R because there is no reason to rush it considering the game is incomplete. I think I will play it again when the next part is released.

I think MS is buying discord for its 300M registered users and not necessarily for its platform. A discord app on Xbox will be great for cross-platform games.

@Flaming_Kaiser The game has bad textures. I especially noticed it on the slums (the irony). I'm using a PS4 Pro and some textures takes times to load and saving in the game is freaking slow.

The NPCs looks out of place to the main characters in terms of design and detail that I can't help but laugh at the jarring contrast. I'm not saying the game is bad, I just can't help but notice it.

The FF7R for PS5 comes close to what a PC version of the game could achieve. The graphics of this game is all over the place.

I finally don't need to buy Bethesda games, assuming all of Xbox first party games will be available day one on Gamepass PC.

I bought Tomb Raider Definitive and Rise 20 Years Celebration for only $4.99 each, while I played SOTR on PS Now and got it for free on PS+. I would have bought this trilogy if it came out sooner.

@Shigurui I'm actually surprised about it and I'm pretty sure Dynasty Warrior is not on everyone's list of top priority game. I remember a pop-up message saying another user wants to play the game. I know PS Now will kick you out, if you've been inactive but I was playing the game when it happen.

I hope they remake Valkyrie Profile, FF6, Parasite Eve and Chrono Trigger. I'm kinda surprised that there are no sourpuss in the comments saying how tired they are of remakes lol

@Logonogo @Shigurui Unfortunately for me. I've had those issues. I was playing Dynasty Warrior when the server told me that they need to kick me out because their servers was overloaded and I needed to wait a few minutes to resume the game, when I booted the game again all of my saves were corrupted. I pretty much gave up on playing any PS3 games on PS Now because of it.

@Robinsad PS3 games will be streamed instead of downloadable. Streaming games on PS Now just straight up sucks, either your file will be corrupted or you cannot play the game atm because the servers is overloaded. Sometimes, they will even kick you out of the game for no reason. The game only runs at 720p or 1080p if you're bandwidth can handle it. Imo, using a PS3 emulator is better compared to PS Now.

It's not that shocking tbh. I think anyone who played the Uncharted series will never say the name Tom Holland, if they were ask who should be cast as Nathan Drake for a live action film.

@Number09 The State of Play was underwhelming but saying PS fans are angry over it is a stretch. And it's not like Sony can just buy the rights to have FF7R free on PS+ right off the bat. FF7R is probably slated to be a PS+ games months before the State of Play. FF7 Intergrated actually cost $70 and having FF7R free on PS+ is probably the best advertisement for Square Enix to sell Yuffie's episodes.

Another great month. I was holding off on buying FF7 Remake because it is still incomplete but I might try to play it now. I would still like to play it on PC or PS5 for the upgraded graphics though.

I just wish that the PS5 and PC version will be released on the same day or even months and not years. Now, the only console I might buy is Nintendo Switch lol.

I hope not. The Medium was decent but flash horror games like Exmortis and Hotel 626 had done a better job scaring me, than whatever games Bloober Team had ever developed.

I've played this game on PC and I only had one crash. The microtransaction for gears set on this game is frustrating. Instead of grinding and defeating mythical creatures to earn legendary gears set, you have to pay Ubisoft again for helix after charging you $60 for their game.

@Max_the_German I already play this game on Gamepass PC for an hour. I felt like the dual reality is more of a gimmick to showcase how the XSX can run "two worlds" at the same time. Bloober could have the normal and spirit world interchangeable and nothing would have changed.

Other than the eerie atmosphere, the medium is nothing like Silent Hill. This game is a walking simulator with puzzles and its not even scary. I'll probably continue to play this game for the Story because I hate watching "Let's play" videos.

I got this offer on PC. Probably cannot use it with a console for another month lol. $1 for Fallen Order and BFV. The only games I'm interested to play tbh.

You can only see the difference if you're actually comparing it side by side. PS5 res is 3200 x 1800 while maintaining 60fps with ultra textures and shadow at medium meanwhile XSX res is 3840 x 2160 with ultra textures and shadow at high but dips to 50fps.

If I was playing this game on PC. I would prefer the graphic setting of PS5 over XSX especially when the framerates become sluggish to compensate for the resolution. We don't know if the PS5 is capable of running Hitman with the same graphic setting as XSX. if only Sony can implement the option to choose between resolution or performance then it might be possible.

Good thing Yakuza 0 to 5 is free on Gamepass PC. I'm still waiting for PS5 restock to get my hands on Demon's Souls and Returnal.

I don't usually wait for reviews to Pre-Order existing PS exclusive but I'll wait for this one. I learned my lesson with Days Gone but tbh I cannot wait to play this game.

Games prices haven't increased in 15 years. I'm fine with the new price as long as the game justify it.
