Re: Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 Is Being Slaughtered By Metacritic Users

InsertGoodName

@Arnna Still, after all the hype not to mention the alleged extreme shifts put in, there is no way in hell this game won't end up fixed and going down the same warm way as Vampire: Bloodlines - or indeed even the Witcher games which had similar problems.
Trouble is entitled folk these days want everything fixed NOW NOW NOW. It's like Cyberpunk is the only thing going on in their lives.
Yes it should have been released finished - but name me one single game that's released finished these days. I own PC games that have never had, or needed, 1 SINGLE patch released for them. But the 90's are over.

Re: Soapbox: PS5 Is Pushing Me Ever Closer to All-Digital

Oh dear. I'd estimate the exact opposite - 95% (at least) of my PS4 games are physical media. But hey if you really do enjoy the thought of, when you've finished a game you know you won't wish to play again, or buy a game that is utterly terrible and just want rid of, being lumbered with those games forever, with no chance to sell them on or give them away, good on ya. Equally, I'm sure you argue well for digital every time the PS Network goes down. Nevermind, chuck, you're a Sony preferred customer, so that's what counts....right?

Re: Poll: How Much Are You Willing to Pay for PS5?

How is it relevant how much I'm prepared to pay?? They're not going to barter or haggle when I get to the till. I'll cough up whatever it is not because I'm a fanboy, but because after winning a PS4 when buying a Sony TV I've found out that finally consoles are on a par with PC's for shiny graphics, and I've really enjoyed the exclusives (bar Sony screwing over Eden Games).

Re: Hotshot Racing - Cracking Arcade Racer Is a Constant Joy

Wooaaahh remember when we had "Screamer"? No, I know you don't I'm being rhetorical - Google it. Then arcade racers got even MORE realistic year on year. Then I found myself thinking "but you know what's really missing from my line-up of enjoyable, modern arcade racers here is some blocky, lazy crap that someone knocked out in a fortnight to 'be, like, totally retro and stuff!'"
Looks like all my wishes have been granted. 🤗

Re: Hitman 3 VR Looks Like a Total Game Changer

@theheadofabroom Hmmm with how fast the tech world moves along, 2016 is an awfully long time to cut it the slack of not bedding down just yet. How much slack do you want to give it? Those other examples are niche yeah that's true but they've been established in some cases for a couple of decades. I take your point though.

Re: Feature: Push Square Readers' Top 10 PS4 Games of 2020 So Far

@MarcG420 Oh boy, almost as wearily predictable as those jumping in in advance of anything kicking off saying "here come the people who aren't permitted to have an opinion that differs from my own - they're just wrong, because...well because I just said so".
I have no opinion on it one way or the other. But I'd at least accept that all sides need to have a way to express an opinion. All this "if you can't say anything nice...." brigade can by all means live in their sickly nauseating world - let them stick to the clique because if you actually lived in a world where everyone was as sugary nice (fake) as that: I guarantee you'd blow your brains out by the end of day one.

Re: PS Plus August 2020 PS4 Games Announced

Ohh interesting. I'll have a crack then, for free. I hope they put more effort into the single player than Call of Duty Ghosts. I watched my friend play that and it took him about 2 hours from start to finish having never played the game before. Truly a pathetic state of affairs for glorious single player campaigns these days.

Re: PS4 Firmware Update 8.00 Beta Invites Being Sent Out

All the community and group and multiplayer stuff I'll never use due to being an apex single player. 👌🏻
I'm really going to miss the PS4 relaxing menu music and gentle waves though, as it's actually the last link back to the glory days of Sony Xperia phones - the Z2 and Z3. Pure luxury - before Sony largely lost their way
