Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Sales Top 13 Million Despite Refunds

Iroha

@starbuck2212 So by your logic, you'd shrug your shoulders and go, 'it'll be fixed eventually' if you bought say a car? And couldn't drive it off the lot? But it's ok that it's broken and undrivable it'll get fixed eventually? I doubt it.

Why is it ok for games to be released unfinished but any other product people would be up in arms?

I have worked in retail my entire life and have witnessed some outrageous behaviour from people wanting refunds for something as simple as a pair of underwear so I find it bizarre that people will put up with this.

As for your point about the media, they , quite rightly feel they were unwittingly duped into deceiving people, so I would say some of the discourse is warranted.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Sales Top 13 Million Despite Refunds

Iroha

I have no issue with the game personally. I haven't played it, don't have any hat in this game but this kind of news kind of makes me sad.

This type of news just encourages companies to release broken products regardless of backlash cause they will still make money.

So disheartening for consumers.

Re: Poll: Is Cyberpunk 2077's Poor PS4 Performance Acceptable?

Iroha

Disclaimer - I have no interest in playing Cyberpunk 2077 so have no emtional investment in it.

However, when a developer tweets their holier than thou ' a gamer should only have to buy a game once' and then release a game in this state, I think people have the right to be angry.

Any other product this broken would be classed as 'faulty' and you would be able to get a replacement or a refund if you so wished. Game companies who routinely release games in this state should be required to refund purchases, either phyiscal or digital. That's the disgrace here. That people have spent hard earned cash and now are being denied basic consumer rights. Which is a right to a refund if the product is not fit for purpose.

Re: Disco Elysium Greatly Expanded with New Quests on PS5, Runs at 4K 60FPS

@Crispy747 tbh every time I boot this game up on Steam, my laptop starts going crazy and it heats up pretty fast. And this is a laptop that can run Zoo World and Sims 4 and all the DLC at the highest setting without blinking an eye. Not sure what it is about DE that sets it off but it always sounds like a jet engine when I play it.

@nessisonett I never understood peeps who liked Bru as a mixer. Ughh. If they get get too boring just knock it back neat. That way they'll be a lot more entertaining! lolol.

Re: PS Store Game Awards Sale Has lots of PS5, PS4 Game Deals

Iroha

@AJDarkstar You know you get a legacy bundle for free which is all your dlc stuff from P5 if you had it. I thought it was pretty good. I ended up buying the edition with the dlc (which I said I wasn't going to ) and also got this legacy bundle to. Was pleasantly surpised.

I'll no be watching live this year. On too late and I have work in the am. I'll just get up and see the inevitable posts all over the internet moaning about who won what and how there were no brilliant reveals and it was all anti-climatic. Same old really, not missing anything. lol.

Re: Assassin's Creed Valhalla (PS5) - Next-Gen Upgrade Is One of the Best Games in the Series

Iroha

I found it really hard to get into this time round, but I think it's more to do with completely falling in love with Kassandra who was a snarky beyotch. Eivor is a lot more subdued to me. Also playing as male this time round as the female character seemed a little bland to me this time round. I've done three areas in England and starting to really enjoy it now. Wanted to romance Soma though and haven't been able to. Enjoying the fishing and hunting. Also love Sigurd a LOT, assumed he was going to be an a-hole so pleasently surprised by that.

Anyone else think thier male Eivor looks completely different to the Eivor on the cover.

Re: UK Sales Charts: Spider-Man Is PS5's Hero While Call of Duty Shoots to Number One

Iroha

@Danloaded That's my issue. (also I have no PS5 lol) but yeah, I was never gonna buy Demon Souls as I find Soulborne games really boring. It's running round streets doing combat . I find it extremely one note tbh. I know a lot of people love them and that's great, just not my thing. I'm more excited to play older PS4 games on my PS5 with no loading. Finally gonna finish The Witcher 3, lol.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 351

Iroha

Am I the first PS4 peon commenting? I'm slowly making my way through AC: Valhalla. Not really scratching my itch tbh. I'm only 20 hours in so maybe just need to persevere. However, yesterday got a little gem called Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin that I am already super addicted to after about 3 hrs playtime so I can see me playing nothing but that this weekend. LOL

Re: PS5 Has Instructions on Transferring Data from PS4 Right on the Box

@glassmusic really? just because MS owns them doesn't mean Bethesda will magically be able to make a decent game. I mean, other than perhaps Halo (which MS ruined) what quality titles has MS released? Quality games have always been their weak point. MS and Bethesda is a match made in mediocrity for game design as far as I'm concerned. LOLz.
