@Matroska Also, I think more should be done on a remaster as when a song is remastered they take all the original stems and completely change bass settings, add many sound variables, change where instruments sit in the mix, etc. (Kind of funny, considering usually someone who masters the track is actually just someone who is remixing it a little for radio polish and it's whoever mixes the track in the first place who does more of the work to make it sound like a balanced song... Yet when a song is called a remix it's a completely different version confusingly...), so I think just up scaling is pretty sloppy, sadly like the Amalur remaster. These remastered games are always at least a generation after the OG, so they have the ability to really work on adding textures and such. Arkham Asylum for instance was a ps3 game that 100% looked like a ps4 game when they finally finished it.
@Matroska Yeah, but holding the Wii U game pad or Switch in your hand and moving the whole screen around feels a LOT different to using the ps4's gyro. It feels far more authentic on Nintendo's platforms, where as if anything on the ps4 controllers, it's annoying, doesn't add much and kind of gets in the way. It's a big part of what I actually enjoyed on the Wii U version tbh.
@anoyonmus I didn't dispute that lol I'm basically saying exactly the same, that it won't review as good on a ps4 because the graphics would need a massive overhaul and the control scheme won't work as well. I'm confused as we basically said the same thing. Lol
The animations for flying sure look horrifically stiff. Why lead with that bit? The environments looked nice as it went along, though. If there's a decent population in towns/cities and a lot of life in the environments such as a good number of enemies or animals then the slightly early ps4 game graphics don't matter much to me. I actually have the Star Ocean series but haven't played them yet. Will see if that changes by the time this releases lol
@thefourfoldroot I was looking for that on the VR sale, have to say I'll probably only get that. Metro Exodus is also a snatch but I literally just bought the first 2 games and don't have time for them so probably will wait till next time.
@RedKnight34 That's a bit of an over statement, don't you think? They gave 1 VR game with plus, then a few free to everyone and now a few more to Plus members celebrate the 5th anniversary. However, yes they will be pushing VR as it's a great experience and brings gaming to the next level if you don't suffer from motion sickness and they're researching into helping with that for next gen VR. Sometimes, things change!
Bought Re-reckoning on Steam due to the fact it may see more mods than the initial release. Might add it anyway... But the real gem here is Walking Dead Saints and Sinners! A fantastic VR title, but I've got a number of PSVR games to get through so have been waiting to get that one day after making my way through some. Chuffed with that! Good choice, Sony.
@nessisonett Never mind, turns out it's so bad that Google doesn't want you to find it. It's called Croc's World and somehow managed a sequel and 2 spin offs.
A nudge from one coworker to another, causing a Sony reps nip slip. Oh, hold on that would be an Activision showcase... Honestly, the Harry Potter thing is the only thing that I'm curious about as it hasn't really mentioned much about it.
Ahaha yes! Finally, Shaggy in a fighting game. It's not quite the brutal, realistic MKXI but it will have to do. Gandalf vs. Tom and Jerry would be fantastic, though I need him to have a move with a wizard broom so it can be like Tom's owner doing some good old animal abuse.
Yeah, I thought just this morning I didn't think we'd see a leak if it hasn't arrived by today. It's like 2 days anyway, can wait. Might actually get more people to watch the State of Play tbh. Maybe it was a clever tactic all aloooong. -spooky wooooooo-
@yungcodyne If you want to feel that way, that's ok. It looks good enough to me and so I'll get these at some point possibly. Maybe I'll wait for them to discount on steam and then see what mods are available, though.
@Fath Well, keep believing in yourself and you'll find a solution. If someone's causing you grief you'll always have the strength to let go of the situation. Financial and physical health things are a bit tougher than knowing yourself, though. Everything passes and changes into something else, I believe. So hopefully you'll find happiness in the situation or enjoy the moments when not immediately faced with adversity.
Eh. Not for me. It's just too off, it's not just the looks but Tom's voice and seemingly demeanor isn't even close to Nathan. Looks like a pass from me. However, fresh from binging Still Game on Netflix Icwas able to interpret the Scottish guy! He even said Weeun (sounds like way-un).
@Loftimus Maybe I should boot it up again and download a save. Thought I got all the museum ones. I remember one behind a wall outside that I couldn't figure out how to get.
Looks good, better than what I was expecting. However, I'll still need to see the gameplay improvements before I decide if I'm gonna get it. Will probably wait for the first sale, regardless, though.
@Number09 Am playing FF7 remake right now (chapter 10), it definitely has chapters. I've been impressed with most of it, except for those dreadful textures and narrow passageways. The extra side stuff isn't particularly interesting so far but there wasn't too much of it, either.
@Neverwild Wouldn't another system be better? I dunno, say a timer that records how long it's been since a player pressed a button, then kick them after a few minutes? That sounds smarter to me.
It's good to see they put so much work into the combat, but it still seems to suffer the hollywood movie fight scene syndrome, in that most enemies will stand around waiting for the fight between you and another enemy finish. I just watched My Name which is Korean, but a lot of the fight scenes were decent and the story was boss. Speaking of stories, do we know anything about this games one?
@Porco I think if Sony were to invest in PC components built by Sony instead (which would probably be an likely in this hypothetical circumstance) then prices would drop. However, I agree. The thing that consoles always have is ease of use. The less technical minded and busy of us would certainly lose interest in gaming. It would have to be made easier somehow for sure.
You know, I feel like many here are appraising this, but I'd go a step further and say I wouldn't mind Sony making a PC Launcher instead of a PS6. Sorry Pushsquare, no idea what would happen to this site if that did ever happen. It's just eventually we could see prices of PC parts drop more and more focus towards making the games as best as they can be. Also, no exclusives! I guess a sub service plus prices on top (Amazon prime comes to mind... Who even subs to that nonsense?) could still come along and ruin it, though.
I'm guess the prior 3 things are gone forever now? Seasonal stuff is irritating for this reason. FFXIV, Genshin, FF7 Remake, RE 7 VR and randomly Steamworld Dig again, I just can't squeeze anything else in to play atm.
3 Amnesia games for £1.19. That's hard to pass up on if you never played through the original creepy fp horror puzzles. Also, The Wizards Enhanced VR is an awesome classic dungeon/adventure game so probably going to grab that. Very tempted by Pumpkin Jack at that price, platinumed Medievil a while ago and want another fix of something like it. Also Styx Shards of Darkness is a game I've always been interested in but never really bothered with. Guess that's all for me, though!

Re: Mini Review: Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water (PS5) - Remaster Is More of a Trick Than Treat
@UltimateOtaku91 I'm assuming handheld mode gyro aiming and the fact the Switch wouldn't handle graphics a lot better than the OG aided in that score.
Re: Mini Review: Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water (PS5) - Remaster Is More of a Trick Than Treat
Already played this on Wii U so this doesn't surprise me! Shame they didn't even up the visual quality.
Re: First Class Trouble Is Among Us in a Retro Future Setting, Free for PS5, PS4 on PS Plus
You guys already did an article on this one, no? Either that or I have been to the future and back in my sleep or something.

Am I the only one who laughed when it said "At the end of infinite space..."? Surely they should have thought about that one a bit harder.

@SuperSilverback Bro, the 80s are back for good.
Re: Talking Point: Did You Enjoy Sony's Latest State of Play Livestream?

Re: PS Store November Savings Sale Has Over 750 PS5, PS4 Game Deals
@OMG_Waffles 70 dollars isn't 70 quid, though. It's about £50, which is far cheaper

Also, Knockout City reviewed well here so will give that a go and maybe that Among Us style game as it is new.

@PanosDucati Legit laughed out loud at this comment. Thanks for the joke, dude.

@nessisonett Am I just losing my mind or was there like a 2d Croc game released in the last 5 years or so? Can't find it on Google now.

Free? Perhaps it may well be one of the VR games given as part of plus.

Re: Talking Point: What PS Plus Games for November 2021 Are You Hoping For?
@Elodin No worries, had 3 for the ps3 and then the Switch myself so would add it to library but doubt I'd run through it again.
Re: Talking Point: What PS Plus Games for November 2021 Are You Hoping For?
@Denni5m That was Dead by Daylight.
Re: Talking Point: What PS Plus Games for November 2021 Are You Hoping For?
@strawhatcrew lol it will be November. They had their chance this month. I already have those 2, but would be interested in Dying Light.
Re: Talking Point: What PS Plus Games for November 2021 Are You Hoping For?
@misak192 Have the collection but would be happy with P5 Royal.
