I'm going to analyse the problem instead of bash these people (We'll call them group A): For many years, petit women have been favoured by media, but probably around the 80s, the standard became even more specific, with disproportionate female forms being desired in art and roles. Many people noticed the issue, though and occasionally we got other body types and such, but nothing too far from it. These people who are complaining probably just got used to this standard and when writers started to question the morality of this practice and challenge beauty standards for women, Group A were suddenly in new territory that they could not accept. There is of course a lot more to it than that and I do believe people the rising problem of porn has exasperated the matter and now younger people outside of Group A have decided to join the crusade in requesting a very small margin of character body types/faces. We can call them Group B.

This leads to the people of Group A and B being ridiculously protective over a popular product which features (and sells itself on) the sexualisation (including a generically attractive face) and particular body type of it's character. So, now they will hiss and scream at anyone who interprets that character in any other way.

I would like to include myself in what I will call Group C. We are people who don't really care for the long idealised body type/aesthetics of characters/movie cast. We just want progression and egality. Because, what many don't realise is sexualisation of men also started to materialize during the 80s and has been running that steady course, also (See Chris Hemsworth/Peter Parker and a whole host of other casually shirtless actors/characters). I have heard a small vocal minority cheer this sexualised male art whilst berating games like Stellar Blade, which IMO is just as ridiculous as Group A and B. At the end of the day, all that matters is interesting character development and clever writing. If you really need to have your mind engaged with your idealised version of beauty, just imagine yourself up a girlfriend/boyfriend and stop projecting your desires on other people's vision. At the end of the day, Eve can look like she did in the creator's eyes and she can look like she did Taek Nam's eye and so, too, can other characters. No one should be dictating to either side.

@Jey887 Don't worry, you're not alone. My 6 year old son had this in his homework and I was sitting there scratching my head. 😅 You recall what to do, but the brain throws away information such as the terms as they don't ever seem to be relevant after a while.

@PegasusActual93 I saw this sort of thing as a teen, too, but it was DEFINITELY not our main source of entertainment, but it seems to be popular enough that it must be for many younguns today.

I always thought Oblivion was the one that should have been in VR, but with better magic combat. Maybe this time, at the very least with mods, anyway!

People rag on anything after Sonic 3, but technically, isn't that Sonic and Knuckles? Which was actually my favourite when I was 4 or so haha Since then, I also gave Knuckles Chaotix a shot and it's not bad at all, Sonic CD was also reasonably good. I'm now starting to try the romhacks with interpretations of cut levels from Sonic 2 which are pretty fun! And also there's one where you play as Metal Sonic which looks decent. Anyway, bit early for this announcement surely 🤔

Edit: Oh and if anyone hasn't tried the Sonic Triple Trouble remade for Genesis romhack... You are missing out! It was a shame they officially kept that one to Game Gear as it looks fantastic in 16 bit.

@symmetrian I see. How many characters are there now? I joined Genshin fairly late and it felt really tough to get C6 characters, so I only ever made it for Fischl.

日本語が好きです... I've been learning since February, but tbh I don't think some of the VAs were bad. You just need to cast correctly. Netflix definitely had a problem where they kept using the same VAs and it became tiresome to watch them in English, so now I tend to watch in Japanese, but for this? I could probably go either way.

On a side note, I was kinda hoping for something nore documentary, a la The Toys that Made Us. That was great and insightful, but nothing like that for the games industry yet, I believe?

So, it's a bunch of different episodes of different IPs ? I was going to say it reminded me of Love Death Robots and then I read it was by the same people 😅 I liked that series but never finished it. I think I'll probably just try the episodes of the IPs I like here.

😂😂😂😂😂😂 Is the gameplay that mediocre they only play to perv on these mostly underage looking character models? I played Genshin for a while but it was fun at first, until it became work and I dropped it like a pack of mouldy potatoes. This debacle is not enticing me to give hoyo another goyo.

Somehow I've still never gotten around to playing the first, despite owning it on PS2 back in the day and even buying a HD version on Switch... Perhaps I'll start it a couple months before thos releases 😅

Finally got round to finishing Intergrade a couple hours ago and saw the cut scene with them in the car again, I saw it first on YouTube where some comment stream was about how they'd feel blessed to have Tifa bump them... Somehow, I am still surprised about how weird people can be about this sort of thing. I think I had the date qith Aerith in the original (Difficult trying to remember 22 years ago...), so I'll see what I get this time and bare no preference whatsoever!

Going on Saturday with my little one, we loved watching the first 2! Watched some of Knuckles, too, but, I found my interests dawdle a little with that.

@Enuo Why is he a bad person? He's a bit eccentric and has the usual hollywood actor troubles, but it seems like he's tried to make a bit of peace with himself on later years.

The fact it was online only turned me off long ago when it entered early access on Steam originally. These days, I'm less against the idea, but especially if the campaign is also specifically co-op enabled. If I can find someone to play it with, I'll definitely give it a go.

@carlos82 I thought they had already implemented some optimisations for the PSVR 1? It's graphically one of the best games, with a better draw distance on ps5 specifically, I believe.

They'd 100% need to fix the crunmy dungeons in 2 for anyone ti be interested in it again, but I would buy it if they did.

I got Ghostwire for free on Epic, got bored and never completed it, but it was ok for what it was.
Death Note is crossplay enabled and sounds sick! I'm gonna try and get soke discord friends to get it and play with me.
Finally, Howheels is by no means bad.

Overall, a solid month.

@Flaming_Kaiser So, if I buy a game and it does not meet my standards, I can not review it and note what I do not like? I would be inclined to even change my review with each update, if I cared about a game enough.

"Item"? Do you have to pay for the DLC to get other gameplay mechanics such as "Weapons" for combat or "Running Shoes" for sprinting?

@LifeGirl This is the sort of logic Baszucki and the other co-owners were running on. Aware that some kids, unfortunately, have crappy parents. Doesn't mean they shouldn't be attempting to lookout for them by attempting to raise awareness of what can happen, though.

There's SO little difference in Worms for SNES/Mega Drive. Slightly more of the screen is seen in Sega and the sounds are a bit different. I don't really understand why you'd want both 😅

How would Rayman 1 work? It would just be the first game with Origins style art? I could see a Rayman 2 remake working a lot better tbh

"Denied!" Is the only predictable result. They won't do jack with it, but they will certainly try to stop anyone else, because otherwise it will "justify fan games", even if they have an agreement and partnership.

Heard about this one a month or so ago. Was a childhood favourite of mine and my sister's. Will definitely grab it with the new controls!

This was entirely Ubi's doing. Everyone wanted the PoP Sands remake and I personally liked how it looked, but they said they were going to rework it and then announced this. Of course the fans just ignored it and it flubbed. Shame, really.

I played through Layers of Fear and it's DLC on Switch. Certainly wasn't anything to write home about, but wasn't terrible. I have the Blair Witch VR version, but never played it. I heard it was alright, though.

"The story retells the events of the main game, although it does so in a tongue in cheek manner, picking up on all the plot holes and poking fun at them.". The video says plot points, not holes? I was genuinely curious about which plot holes the review may be referring to, but I guess it's a typo!

Will this series ever implement a challenge mode or something? It's always a bit naff knowing you will just respawn with less chippies.

Still waiting on news for Medievil's adaptation. That series still has very little.

I've nearly finished my 100% run on normal of Outer Worlds Spacer's Choice and it was ridiculously easy, I was one shotting stuff for a while. Still had a great time. Was going to pick this up next week, but it sounds like a lot of nerds will make this a pain. I'll await further patches, I guess.

@LifeGirl Hello, here is a person that plans on playing Kingdom Hearts! Though, I was holding out for a Steam sale. There are plenty of people who would have wanted to play through those, though. I have a lift of games on Extra I want to get through, but Outer Worlds is taking up all my time, so there are undoubtedly some games I will miss and about 5 or 6 I already have.

Flatout, Metro, Alien and Zombie Army? Sweet! I'll grab them on the Quest 3 at some point

I recently played the SNES original, definitely has to be better than that.
