Famitsu aren't taken quite so seriously by me these days. Some of their review scores have been bonkers, especially for games like Ff15 and Forspoken.
I'm checking every hour for the reviews and will pre order if theyre generally positive. An 8 or above on average would be fine by me. I just hope somebody mentions whether the QTE's get really annoying or not though. Because thats the main thing that could turn it for me, even with high scoring reviews.

So much for my allnighter of Diablo. Hopefully sorted soon....but i'll keep trying to log in for another hour or so.

Surprised Skyrim hasnt been done. Would happily plat that one for the zillionth time.

I havent touched it since release date. I'm still waiting for the devs to create something specifically for it, rather than the Horizon climbing simulator.
Just seeing lots of cheap gimmicky games with abysmal graphics, very abysmal considering the tech. P2W graphics pretty much imo.

Congrats to them. One of the few games where you can feel the love the devs have put into it.

I recognized the voice of an English actor in the demo, i dont know his name but his voice is quite distinctive.
He also speaks in Diablo iv. Found it quite jarring considering i can picture the guy doing the voice. He's an old guy at the beginning of Diablo but a young guy in ffxvi.
Tall guy, English, wonky eye. Been in lots of UK tv stuff over the years. Dont know his name.

Quite ironic that people have posted about ps being more adult orientated. But they play a Harry Potter game.

I think nostalgia plays a large part with ps1. Certainly does with me.

@papaglitch so true. Until ps1 i hadnt bothered with gaming since i was a kid on nes and snes etc. Ps1 dragged me into gaming as a 23yr old.

PS1 for sure. Changed the gaming landscape, and you knew you were one of the special ones to enjoy history in the making.
Gives me chills even now when playing ps1 classics.

Ffvii was my first back then, and then i played anthology on ps1. Lurve this one.

More cutscenes to store then...

They're available to buy at 4pm BST on psn. Straight into vi for me, then v and iv. Not gonna bother with the first 3, never played them so no nostalgia factor there.
Trophies look pretty straightforward, but i'll probably have to use a guide for missable chests and hidden items. On second playthroughs that is, first playthroughs for me have to be enjoyable and just go with the flow.

Not good. Thats gonna be a pain when trying to fully explore areas. I hope they give some kind of reasoning for such a bizarre decision.

But all i'm hearing about this is omfg looks good etc. But very little about the gameplay. Not interested in omfg cutscenes.

Didn't buy it. I wasn't a kid when Harry geek Potter was all the rage.
I'm more interested in games like the last of us, that show maturity.
Not happy that a kids game is highlighting game sales. Where's the option to shoot their trite faces off? Never played it, just watched a friend on shareplay the day it was released.

As a huge fan of the earlier Final Fantasy games i can say erm... hell 👎 its been done better...much better.

@scoodoo, i honelstly saw no difference. And its still janky, so yes, ps4.
I'm still waiting on a ps5 game to impress me.

@flaming_kaiser, the love for ps5 Demon Souls baffles me, it is still the same janky game. Press x and it may register it, or not.
I am yet to see a game on ps5 that couldnt be done on ps4.

Not a midnight release, stayed awake to realise i cant play it until American time. F U, and then some. Grrr.
