Oh, I forgot. People who use descriptors like "juvenile" and "for kids" aren't actually looking to play videogames, they're looking for the 10 hour long D-tier watered down Hollywood imitations AAA devs ***** (edit: ahem, "excrete") out year after year.

Looks great. Miles Morales is such a well designed and constructed character. Deserving of more games in the future

Yeah but who are these people ? And how many many of them are there?

Even if that were true, are these reasons for companies to raise costs? You could say that games are more expensive to make now, it's normal for inflation to happen, etc. I don't doubt that is true but I also question why these 10 potential extra dollars should be allocated to the consumer. Especially when you consider that extra money is not likely going to the salaries of the increasingly overworked videogame developers. I wonder how much Sony CEOs get paid.

You might say it's too radical to ask that last question or that I'm being too naive for the sake of politics but what else am I seriously supposed to say when a pandemic is ravaging the planet and millions have lost their jobs while it's a proven fact the richest have benefited. Yet we are expected to pay more and the entry barrier keeps on getting higher. If sales and deals were the only saving grace, then it would make this less of an issue. But what happens if this is normalised in the industry and companies like Nintendo who never lower their prices come along. Must be a bitter pill to swallow considering you are pretty much forced to upgrade at a high price if you want to play these new games. Much cheaper to maintain my PC than it is to buy a PS5. But that's another conversation; console's glory days ended after the PS2-era.

I sincerely wish to know why you are so strongly defending a corporation of this size without a touch of self awareness. I expect a reply that is more insult than conversation.

@DoctorP042 I don't really buy the "it could always be worse" line of thinking. If Sony plans to do this it will still be bad regardless of what other companies are doing.

...and the poor get poorer. Sad to see companies test the patience of the consumer knowing they will get away with it. Entertainment isn't necessary but it would sure be nice to live in a world where it's at least affordable. At least these days we have more choice than ever! I'll stick to PC.

So I'm guessing the last 3 games covered will be Horizon, Persona and NiER?

As far as games released on the PS4 go, NieR:A is definitely worthy of being GOTY more than even titles like Horizon and Persona. Will be remembered for years to come.

I really want this to be real. The same 5 or 6 games Sony are pushing for 2018 except MHW aren't doing anything for me.

I'm glad I live in the PST timezone so the store still hasn't updated for me yet... I forgot to download September's games but managed to grab them just in the nick of time!

@RainbowGazelle I don't usually mind the bias but when you see them act sarcastic with a game like this and then see them act unironically excited for AAA garbage like Detroit or Days Gone you can't help but laugh.

Where is Asura? Phoenix Wright? Amaterasu? Gene? Viewtiful Joe? Wesker? Vergil? Rashid? Juri? Felicia? Lady? Trish? Akuma? Hsien-Ko or Demitri? Nina? T. Bonne????? This roster is so underwhelming it's not even funny!

@Giygas_95 Not many people agree with me on this, but Mario has had it fairly bad too. The endless mediocre spin-offs and soulless main titles like the NSMB games hurt his image a lot.

If the female protagonist from P3P is included I'll buy this. It's not a canon game after all, so why not?

Persona 5 Rouge/Red as an expanded edition? Another option could be Persona 5 Rumble, the inevitable fighting game.

This game has it even worse than Battleborn. The latter is notorious and has become the butt of a joke, but at least it's still remembered. I don't think this game will share the same fate.

Played it on PC more than I care to admit, so I'll give this a pass. This port feels a bit pointless to me but if more people get to play it, that's better than nothing I guess.

This is so cool. Someone on Twitter mentioned how great it would be to have Kazuma Kiryu from Yakuza in Tekken 7. Make it happen!

Looks cool! I'd love to see the Joker or another character from Persona 5.

It always bothers me that Melee still gets top treatment after all these years. Then again, I'm not a hardcore fighting game fan so what do I know.

That means he'll be on PTR in about a week and a half if we're being generous. About time too, since Overwatch was getting kind of boring and I took a break.

Don't care at all about Until Dawn but I'll give it a try. Telltale games are usually lol tier these days so I'll give that one a pass.

I would put KH3 but that doesn't really count. Mario was my favorite game shown overall.

Nintendo completely obliterated Sony this E3. They need to step up their game.

Having this come after Bethesda's presentation was glorious, especially as you could draw so many parallels between the two.

Absolutely not lol. Everything they showed is coming to PS4 and PC, so there is no reason for me to get one, ever.

Would anyone else rather have something completely new from From Software, rather than a Bloodborne sequel? I think a new IP with a different theme/aesthetic would get me way more hyped.

@bahooney Not picking a side or anything but I have seen NL mods act aggressively to other users. This kind of stuff happens on both sites.

NL articles are usually pretty good though, but some can be poorly written or even misinformed (maybe just nitpicking, but as an example I remember reading an article where RH Wii was described as "making use of motion controls" when it did the opposite). Comment sections can devolve into circlejerk territory though.

Is AC4 worth it at 12 bucks? I've never played a game in the series before.

I spoiled myself a lot when it came out in Japan, and yeah, P5 is probably going to be my favorite in the series. It's great.

2017 has been fantastic so far! Resi 7, NieR, Zelda, Nioh, Yakuza 0, Horizon and probably a lot more I'm forgetting just in three months.
