***** yes. These are the remasters we need. I pray for Thief, Deus Ex, Vampire Bloodlines to get the same treatment. Graphics, UI and controls age, but good design doesn't.

@get2sammyb People want Cyberpunk-esque experiences nowadays. The only people who look at the SOP and didn't leave underwhelmed are younger newer gamers and reviewers who just have more content to play/write about. It's not anything special or exciting.

The remaster looks like how I remember the OG looking when I played it 5 minutes ago.

I am proud to have been a Ubisoft hater before it was cool. Even Black Flag and Far Cry 4 were middling sequels at best.

I think that it's overall good for the industry if the xbox dies. The Series S is an anchor.

It's wild that Bloodborne can be emulated on PC before getting ported.

I hope that they look more like Stellar Blade and less like Concord

@LogicStrikesAgain A mobile device sure, but I don't think that a mobile console can be counted as a flagship device if you are not named Nintendo.

People have access to their XBOX games on PC and thus most portable gaming devices.

It will be kinda weird in 2028 to have a new PS, but not a new XBOX.

Lack of competition is the stuff Concord is made of.

@UltimateOtaku91 It's common sense that any studio with lotta cash will try to make a live service game or 2 in hopes of printing money through microtransactions, but to aim for 12 in a relatively short time period? Or even 6? Just not smart.

They are lucky that XBOX is dead.

I honestly think that many games would benefit from a delay. The culture shift in 2024 was massive.

@AFCC I really hate how in recent years VA has become a lot more animated. It doesn't really suit the danger the characters find themselves in. Shepard in ME got criticized for being a bit bland, but in retrospect I would take characters like him over 99% percent of protagonists since. Take yourself seriously gaming industry!

@DrVenture69 A lot of Sony sequels in recent years did worse than the first entry. Horizon, GOW, Spiderman etc

I hope that as those studios reboot and try new things(besides Horizon which is probably getting a 3rd game) will do better and learn lessons.

I hope that From Soft tries to make a souls like game in the style of Concord.

I think that standards for games are increasing because old games no longer get unplayable for newer gamers.

Even a decade from now people will rather play Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk over the latest 7/10 game like AC or Avowed.
