I liked the original a lot, but only recently played it so I'm not planning to fork out £20+ for it, even though the 60 fps sounds very appealing.

I think there's been a mixup as I can see that Gran Turismo is #1 instead of DIRT Rally 2.0.

Fingers crossed this is a launch title!

Excellent news! I played 2 a lot on my 360, but never came round to playing the original, so I'd be interested in this a lot.

It's Dirt Rally 2.0 for me again, and I also downloaded Steamworld Quest yesterday which looks marvellous.

@Katsuhono Oh, I hadn't realised that! I remember saying them that they went for graphical fidelity rather than fps, but thought that was at the start of the ps3 cycle.

That's excellent news! I think that makes this the first Ratchet and Clank since the ps2 that can be played on 60 fps. Such a massive difference.

That would settle my choice launch game then. If not, it'd be Ratchet and Clank hopefully.

I for one am looking forward to an upgrade to the 3 hour-long battery life of my ps4 controller.

I am just about to let my subscription lapse actually. I don't really play multiplayer games, and I've either played the Plus games or am not interested in them. PS Now is much better value to me.

@Cornaboyzzz Same here. This and The Medium were the only titles really standing out for me. Doesn't look like The Medium will head over to the ps5 though unfortunately.

I liked the smaller feel of the ps4 controller actually (and its looks too, I can't get over these garish new looks) and prefer it to the chunkier xbox and switch Pro controllers. I suppose it's too much to ask being able to use it for the ps5?

@nessisonett These people were part of the executive team. Which more than likely means practices like these were trickled down and far more widespread as it enables others to follow in their steps without consequences. I agree with the comments above. I'm not buying anything Ubisoft-related as these allegations are quite serious indeed.

The question for me still is, am I buying the ugly version at launch, or will I be able to control myself to hold out for the inevitable other colour schemes. Which doesn't mean that they'll look better necessarily. 🤔

Anyway, I enjoyed Until Dawn but thought Man of Medan was terrible, so fingers crossed they've turned it around again.

I'm still trying to not spend another penny on PS4 games until I've got a new shiny console sitting underneath my telly in order to clear my backlog!

@GamingFan4Lyf Ha! I had the exact same discussion with the exact same outcome. I don't think it's worth buying both systems though, between this and whatever the current Nintendo system is, there's only so much time in a day to play video games.

@playstation1995 That's the thing, I'm not familiar with the genre at all. The only things I know are from the radios or films, which is why I think the old skool stuff sounds a lot better. I'm more into metal and classical stuff myself, but thought it'd be nice to explore some new avenues:)

@Icey664 Quite right. I wanted to dabble in the expansions somewhere last year (I played the base game around the time of its release) and I just couldn't get into it anymore, so that could well be it.

@Icey664 I'm positive as I've spent dozens of hours roaming the countryside! Mind you, I still enjoyed it as the writing and world-building was exceptional, but I did find the gameplay quite clunky and tedious.

This looks great, but as I found The Witcher a bit lacking in the gameplay compartment, I'm holding off until I've read some reviews when it's released. Also, I like the "Plays great also on PS5 and Series X" sentence.

@MarcG420 I had read his entire post and to me it was clear that he was referring to the Series X/Lockhard difference.

@MarcG420 @BAMozzy I think he's talking about the difference in playing games on the current Xbox or splashing out for a new Series X.

I agree, less is often more. Lots of games nowadays are way too bloated.

I'm delivering a case of special beer in Death Stranding. Incredible game, one of my favourite AAA games on the ps4.
