This is interesting doom 64 was made by midway published by Williams I think, so if they have the rights for this then they got to have the rights for the PSone port and all its gloomy glory, they didn't bring out final doom, so more classic doom games are there to be ported over and I say do it!

(I know final doom is 2 fan made megawads with official backing and counts as a entry to me)

@rjejr this kind of reveal happens now and then when people want to know of its existence but have nothing official to show, the last time I can remember was for wolfenstein 2 the voice actors for BJ and Anya "let slip" on social media they were recording there dialogue for wolfenstein 2 and it was months before the first trailer dropped

Im not hyped for this but looking forward to give this beast a go

And on the hype subject, its 2 weeks old with millions of players any new addition will be "hyped" by the developers to keep the community playing and talking about there game (I know hype 101 😉) but it clearly works, and you have to remember battle royal is the big game style and they gotta compete against the all ready established "big boys" in the field.

Ok I love this style of game (got all metal slug games on ps4) and a huge contra fan (probotector in the EU) and certain stages from this game look ripped from super contra and the same goes for animation the wall climb looks identical to SuperC and even the 1 frame look up and down

Hope konami keep there heads in the sand and don't try to Ruin this for old school run n' gun fans

Shame the gameplay sounds a bit lackluster, but im impressed by the tournament aspect reminds me of allykat on the c64 (you only have x amount of time to choose one for the rewards)

Ok this has me concerned about a online fallout, and im curious about this scenario,
what if im playing with friend's we run into a conflict shotguns ablaze i clip one of my team stop to reload and he clips me back due to the spread?? Are we in active PvP so any possible clipping will be full power?
If so there will be a lack of these kinds of weapons used by people in groups.
(And yes i know about the target system cant remeber its name..... v.a.t.s? 😅 im talking about in real time)

The psn is working fine for me im able to make a party and play online no issues at all

Depending on the price of these and size, I may pick up the @play pad it looks like it has a fighter friendly d-pad

Nice article and fully agree with it but no fighting games? For me the ps2 was the best console for fighting games and want to see sony bring more back like,

Capcom vs snk 2- the ps3 emulation was a dissapontment with it's random frame drops so a ps4 emulation will have to run flawless or just port it with online, never going to happen but one can dream.

And the rest of the snk back catalogue the KOF 2000 that is out now is a flawless emulation with full legacy support and should be used as a template for any ps2 fighter that comes out

If this is the final vanilla list then I am dehyped by a bit only 28 fighters?!? And no "giant" fighters like in TvC I thought that mechanic was awsome......

.. and the actual list is quite meh... all the marvel fighters are MCU based and that will be the focus for the DLC

And the capcom side is rather uninspired for me and still missing captain commando and jin (my original team) and some of the MVC3 cast who were worthy (ameratsu, vewtifull Joe and trish)

@Gmork___ all true if you have rev 1 then you can upgrade for £20 in the UK

And you can get rev 1 online for about £15 get that then upgrade save some cash

External HHD support is a must now games are getting too big for the Base 500GB HDD doom takes up 70-80 GB that's insanely big

This is very shocking to me, i dont want to pay to try a demo unit as it should be on display and free to try of they are wanting to do timed demos then they should of had it at 10 mins and you book your slot (remember epic doing that for the original gears at a display show at the metro centre)

But this whole situation to me reeks of desperation tactics try and make a quick cash in on the hot thing on the market and i have a feeling this is how they will demo new tech from now on i just hope this ends up fading away and classifying its self as obsolete

PSN has been down a few times for me today able to get on at the moment but rocket league is running like poo online and cant keep a stable connection (ping spike's with only the ps4 connected to the net) so not fully solved yet at 21:20 ish

Rocket league has to be the best ps+ game ever its the only game that has me my bro and all of our mates hooked to the point we have formed a RLCS team

Back on the point i was going to make about the micro transactions, i don't mind them at all with this beeing free on PS+ its a way to show a bit of support to the developers was going to buy the special edition to do the same, all so the article missed out 1 important fact about the Microtransactions they help fund future RCLS season's and events so its not all bad part of the profit is going to the community and that makes me happy they are giveing back to the fans and not emptying there pockets because they can!
