@Abarth_71 for some reasons Sony games quite often have the hard play through trophies after launch as dlc, they’ve done this with original Horizon, Spider-Man, TLoUII etc…

So Miles has probably made more money than Spider-Man and GoW in the long run as the production costs would of been way lower

@somnambulance triangle strategy is being published by Nintendo so probably why it’s not on the list

@Rob_230 I'm still thinking it is a Spiderverse game, Spider-Man games sell well and Sony probably wants to get a lot out in the wild. No different to Sonys film strategy, they have the MCU Spider-Man, the animated Spiderverse as well as the Sony Marvel Universe

@CWill97 a while ago they did patent a system that trophies could unlock on older emulated games

For me personally the PS5 games are getting worse, lame month 😒

@Gamer_Girl_ yeah certainly matches the likes of Operation Tango, Hunters etc..mediocre games, but it fits the pattern

@AFCC to be fair, was a low key announcement, no gaming sites have picked up the story, just heaps of fans overhyping something that will lead to disappointment

Whatevers on ps5 I just hope it's not Hell Let Loose, that game doesn't interest me in the slightest

@KidBoruto it won't, EA can still make SW games, they just won't have exclusive console publishing rights to the franchise anymore

Well it will be awhile off as EAs contract expires in 2023 so it can’t be released until after that. Same reason as kotor remake won’t be able to release mid to late 2023 at the earliest

Nintendos being doing these sort of things for years and no one bats an eyelid, Sony starts doing it and it's the end of the world.

Could of skipped the first half hour, I thought it was going to end up being disappointing, felt liked they just slapped a few trailers together of games we already knew about. The last 4 games shown made it all worth while

Not liking these months. Too many games I want to play after a couple quiet months playing my PS5 backlog. Luckily nothing for me in November and December. Might go something like this, Life is Strange, Lost in Random(which you forgot on your list) Death Stranding and Kena. Then Far Cry 6 and Guardians of the Galaxy. And if Tales of Arise and Deathloop turn out alright I may play them later in the year before the very busy first quarter of next year

@WallyWest yep, have Rockstar on your box means it's an instant 10, and while most of their games deserve it there are a few that don't .

So a stand-alone multiplayer game and a supposed remake of TLOU, wake me up when they bring out there next new game 😴

@WallyWest GTA IV is one game I wished they would remaster, I want to give it another go. After San Andreas I was so disappointed, only spent a few hours with it until I shelved it

Apparently not Fist either according to a chat on discord where someone from the publishing team denied it when someone asked if they should pre-order or not

Late October's not a great month for this, there's a lot of big titles out that month and with big hitters usually out early November this game may get buried, hope not looks fun

I don’t think we’ll see anything big, expectations are low, I just hope it ends with a PlayStation Experience announcement and date

Happy with the Plague tale if true. I’m not really worried about PS4 games anymore, I think I played all the ones I wanted to

Guardians of the Galaxy is the best new thing that I saw for me personally

I found the game quite choppy and glitchy on PS5, sometimes the frame rate dipped and BD1 constantly got stuck floating around front of the character. I’m sure a patch or 2 will fix it

So far Guardians of the Galaxy is the best thing to come out of this show, hopefully the summer game fest can kick things up a notch

@Amusei i know right, good if youre a xbox gamepass gamer. If sony turned up with horizon, god of war, gran turismo, forspoken and ffxvi plus a couple of surprises they would absolutely blow everything away. Can't wait until they play their cards

@feral1975 I wouldn’t expect anything from Tomb Raider for a while, with Crystal Dynamics working on Avengers post content and Eidos Montreal making GotG I don’t think there’s any room for it right now. I’d imagine in a couple of years there will be another reboot

Final Fantasy XVI must be being saved for PlayStation’s next show whenever that will be.

I liked the look of GotG, will most likely pick it up, looks like they’ve kept it similar to telltales version with dialogue choices.

Overall was okay presentation, one of the better ones, haven’t watched Microsoft’s yet though.

@KidBoruto yep meditating is how you pop them, it popped 37 of the 40 trophies in one hit, it just lost a few of my acquired skills which I had to farm some kills, no biggie, was about an hour playtime. Game wasn’t very well optimised though, very janky and glitchy

What’s funny is that most of the games shown should of been released by now if it was not for COVID delays, where’s beyond good and evil 2 gone, I feel it has become vapourware

@Icey664 Kind of a free platinum, over on psnprofiles a few people are having a few not pop and you have to go back to earn it. Even though my cloud save was 100% when it downloaded it reverted to 99% and I had to grind skill points again as I was missing a few skills. Nothing too bad though and 2 free plats in a week along with FFVII

For the first time in ages, Naughty Dog is the studio I’m least excited about what they’re developing on out of Sony’s Worldwide studios. That’s if it’s true they’re only working on Factions and a last of us remake. Love to see a new IP from them

@QUINTISON ive seen confirmation that all trophies unlocked on Ps4 autopop on ps5, so you get a free plat just by downloading your save, similar to spiderman, destiny 2 etc...

I think im most excited by Santa Monica Studio's second teams unannounced title, cant wait to see what they have cooking. Would love to see a new ip from naughty dog (its been 8 years) but if all they have coming is factions 2 and tlou remake then that definitely doesn't float my boat

I originally dismissed this when everyone thought this was a Kojima project. But having such a fancy trailer/demo thing sounds a bit too high tech for a small indie team that hasn’t shipped a game yet, there’s definitely a lot more to this game than meets the eye.

Edit: also June 20th, could this be when PlayStation has their showcase 🤔

Hope to finish off the plat for wreckfest, played a bit of the Scarlet Nexus demo(reminds me of a vita game) and starting haven which I picked up on sale, hopefully will have that plat tidied up before Rift Apart

Do people think this game will be more linear? It looked that way in the demo but obviously still to early and seen to little to tell. Definitely gave me ACIV vibes, which is a good thing because really enjoyed that Caribbean setting. This and Ratchet SOP’s have me super excited for the future of PlayStation Studios on PS5

Also I’m guessing this game evolved from the cancelled Erik and Mia Dragon Quest Monsters

@ShogunRok hopefully they’re not all exclusive to Switch, and hope PS5 versions exist as I’m a little bummed titles like Nier Replicant and Neo:twewy didn’t get native PS5 versions

Lots of new announcements but sadly none of the games have what consoles they’re tied to yet, still lots of DQ love coming
