@Palleon I mean you're saying stuff what isn't true so its easy to believe you're trolling even if you aren't. Map icons are there as is fast travel you just have to unlock the map Ubi style and unlock fast travel points by doing the many Shrines. I'm guessing you're still in the starter zone? Finish that and you will reach Hyrule proper where the game will then start opening up more.

Re: Rumour: Next Assassin's Creed Now Apparently Sneaking into October

WallyWest

@Heavy_Artilery No it doesn't not in entertainment terms and VG's aren't food. I can see you're one if those people though where a game is either a 1 or a 10 and no in-between. Sure though provide evidence that Unity and Syndicate are awful because the MC scores are good as are the Steam user scores, clearly people like them.

You clearly have a hate boner for Ubi while no doubt supporting something else far worse elsewhere but hey instead of commenting on comments what never asked for an opinion that has no relation to it i suggest you do something that might bring you joy.

Re: Rumour: Next Assassin's Creed Now Apparently Sneaking into October

WallyWest

@Heavy_Artilery Vast majority? Funny as critic reviews were good and a quick look at Steam has user scores for Unity at mostly positive. Your opinion isn't the vast majority dude, in fact its easier to find an opinion on those wanting a return to "classic" AC then it is of those wanting another Valhalla. The reason Ubi changed course was because the formula was starting to grow stale and Unity's rough launch killed trust leading to less then ideal sales for Unity/Syndicate.

Re: New Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Patch Is Out Now, Focuses on Bug Fixes

WallyWest

@KundaliniRising333 On the otherhand if no one bought this day 1 then EA will say no one cares for single player games. Its worth noting its rare we have a console game launch this bad, yes games always launch with some issues but its usually minor and sorted after a week or two. I don't think anyone expected the game would launch this bad, at worst we expected Fallen Order level issues and not something closer to Cyberpunk.

Re: Stranger Things Star Explains How Gran Turismo Movie Avoids Video Game Adaptation Curse

WallyWest

He says that but then both Sonic films are solid and fun, Mario is pretty damn fun, The Last of Us was pretty great, Cyberpunk was incredible, Arcane was incredible, Pokemon is one of the biggest animes ever, Detective Pikachu is pretty good and the original Mortal Kombat film while cheesy is a good time to the point MK11 paid homage to it with the film even liked by the MK creators.

I can't say GT looks good as it looks insanely generic and while i like Harbor his track record of films is pretty poor.

Re: PS5 Pro Is '100%' Happening, Says Reliable Report

WallyWest

@UltimateOtaku91 Dude Star Wars is not good example when the best gaming PC's out there can't run it, the issue is Respawn not the hardware. Been playing Redfall all day (its not as bad as i thought but that's not saying much) and the issue again is a Dev thing, the game looks and plays like a last gen game and does nothing that should trouble a Series X. As for Cyberpunk? That plays and looks fine on current gen consoles, yes its not a perfect 60fps but that's won't change with a Pro console.

Ray Tracing and 60fps/4K are luxury things PC's way better then the PS5 have trouble with and its why many PC gamers go fir 1440p over 4K as it allows them higher framerates and RT. Console gamers really need to reset their expectations of what console gaming this Gen is and will be until its end.

Re: Star Wars Jedi: Survivor PS5 Patch Promises Improved Performance and Crash Fixes

WallyWest

@Shokwave2 Dude your original comment is basically 'l"i'm not having these issues so they don't exist and its peoples consoles that are the problem and people just want to hate EA". Yeah its the consoles that need fixing despite every other game working fine and Respawn pumping out patches to fix the mess they released.

As for your other comment yeah people would rather play on performance mode and get 60fps but right now that mode is a mess forcing us to use the 30fps quality mode. I would happily 4K and even RT for 60fps but RT is forced on no matter the mode and the resolution drops for performance are dreadfully low to the point it can go below 720p. To get a more stable framerate and better image we have no choice but to stick with quality mode at 30fps.

Re: Star Wars Jedi: Survivor PS5 Patch Promises Improved Performance and Crash Fixes

WallyWest

@KundaliniRising333 i'm usually very lenient with this stuff because if i'm having fun i can look past it but even though i am enjoying Survivor its hard to look past constant crashing, endless screen tearing, constant pop in and a framerate all over the place. Switching to Quality mode does help slightly and the increase in resolution does hugely increase the visuals at least but its still a massive mess.

I've seen people say its no worse then Elden Ring and that Zelda will have a bad performance but here's the thing ER wasn't a broken game it just had a lackluster framerate and i'm guessing Zelda will be the same. Survivor's issues run deeper then just a bad framerate what with the game breaking bugs and all the other issues i've mentioned. Honestly i think this is the worst AAA release since Cyberpunk and its disgusting how critics have glossed over it.

Hopefully they do fix it and get it in a good state as its brilliant otherwise and one of the best SW games out there but right now yeah avoid until its fixed and on offer.

Re: Star Wars Jedi: Survivor PS5 Patch Promises Improved Performance and Crash Fixes

WallyWest

@KundaliniRising333 The most annoying part about all this is the game itself is fantastic and does everything a sequel should do so its annoying when its technical state is dire. The fact reviews have glossed over how bad it is in my opinion is shameful, PQ gave it a 9/10 and sure if the game it worked i agree but its broken right and this magic day 1 patch done jack despite PQ hyping it up.

Best review right now is SkillUp's, he doesn't hold back and while its the PC version he covered it can apply to the console versions as well.

Re: Star Wars Jedi: Survivor PS5 Patch Promises Improved Performance and Crash Fixes

WallyWest

@Shokwave2 Or you have very low standards and just don't notice this stuff. Digital Foundry have done 3 videos on its issues so far, the internet is flooded with complaints and its easy to find videos of these problems. I had to switch to quality as performance mode is so bad and ugly and even then i'm still getting crashes, pop in, drops to 20's and other visual problems.
