Re: Mini Review: Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising (PS5) - Re-Released, Rollback Fighter Is Top Tier

@ShogunRok Thanks for the review! I'm confused about the original game and the comparison to this new one, though. I've seen people talking about this particular matter, but I've yet to completely understand what exactly is the difference between the two. If I skipped the original, can I feel good about jumping into this one without feeling I've missed some story beat or content that was left out?

Re: Jim Ryan: Japanese Market Still Very Important to Sony

Few people can deny that Sony has lost a lot of its spirit when there are not many first-party games that are made in Japan anymore. This is a consistent problem because their image is already synonymous with the West and it frankly becomes too monotone if nothing is going to change. I'm glad to see an aggressive move towards a more global approach, especially regarding China and India as of late. But even that doesn't change the fact that they've lost their grip on their legacy games. The titles that were made in Japan. I hate to repeat myself every time this comes up, but they got to change.

Re: Sony Wasn't Interested in New JRPG from Ex-Wild Arms Devs

Return to your roots, Sony. Do something, anything at this point. Konami celebrates its IPs by re-releasing them in great packages that get people talking. Castlevania, Contra, and TMNT are entries that we can go back to now and be excited about again. Suikoden is also coming up. Try doing more of that at the very least.

Re: PSone Crushed the N64 Because of Depressing Games and Lonely Players

@Flopsy Dead people's opinions sometimes have great ramifications for what happens in the future. Not always, but the ones that are there are kind of difficult to look past. History is a fantastic tool to measure where we once were and where we are moving now. Yamauchi is more than a dead man with an opinion most of us would disagree with, far more.

Re: Feature: Our Most Anticipated PS4 Games of 2020

Final Fantasy 7 Remake is my most anticipated PS4 game of this year followed closely by Ghost of Tsushima and then Cyberpunk 2077. There's still a lot of other cool games to choose from and it's pretty overwhelming, to be honest.

Re: Feature: 12 PlayStation Predictions for PS4 and PS5 in 2020

Here's one. Ready at Dawn has a launch game for the PS5. It's not a sequel to The Order: 1886, but a completely new IP. Sony believes there are too many sequels in the pipeline for the new system anyway. It's an ambitious action-adventure title that leans heavily on sci-fi elements.
