While I don’t agree with the £70 price tag I don’t mind a remake of a game I have played more than 20 times I’m all to happy to play a better playing and looking version, is it needed maybe not for us but remakes, remasters or ports of a game they know well on new hardware can help ease the developers into making new projects now there more familiar with the new hardware capabilities and since they have a stand-alone online last of us games and a new title in development making a remaster of uncharted and remake of last of us has probably helped.

A problem I’m having is if I leave a game disc in after playing and then turn off ps5 when I turn it on again it says disc unsupported all I have to do is remove disc and put back in and it reads it again but it’s still annoying.

I was never excited for this game it’s the type of game to get and play at a lower price when I’ve got nothing else to play and then maybe find out it was brilliant or terrible all along but not interested in a full price day one buy to find out, also I feel ive heard to much about this game just want to see reviews now to know what it’s actually like not what the developers say it’s like.

Seems to be a list of fixes much bigger than cyberpunk 2077 except I didn’t realise anything was wrong with this game.

Sony needs to make a different variety of games like a deep RPG game to compete with Microsoft starfield, avowed, outer world 2 and FPS games which they have but mainly on the VR, just more variety then the third person action adventure game. I don’t like online multiplayer games but gotta give credit where it’s due to Microsoft for sea of thieves that felt like a risk and a successful one.

@The_Pixel_King also worth mentioning the ps5 version supports the adaptive triggers which I find amazing, personally even though I have a 120hz tv I prefer the 4K 60 mode the difference for me personally between 60-120 isn’t as noticeable as 30-60 but the low resolution is more noticeable so I always prefer games using a balance mode at 60 with all the graphical features unless it’s a twitch style multiplayer shooter then 120hz.

Even if 1440p 120fps was a thing on ps5 like the SX I would still choose the 4K 60fps for this type of game that doesn’t really require or feel much better with a high FPS like a racing game or a face paced shooter especially the multiplayer kind, I tried 120fps in some games and it’s great in a couple mainly for multiplayer but not really worth the sacrifice in image quality and res in single player games. I would rather have the high res with 60fps and the last time I played this game was on ps3 with it just hitting 30 on 2 and 3 and rarely hitting 30 on 1 so 4K 60fps will still be a massive upgrade in comparison.

Maybe one day but I’m excited for resident evil 8 and mass effect legendary edition which will probably take me past R&C release date also my ps5 backlog alone still has assassin’s creed Valhalla, yakuza LAD and sack boy and I’ve still got a PS4 backlog so that first but I always buy resident evil and mass effect day 1 being a fanboy of the franchise’s even though mass effect is a remaster still hyped. Also probably get returnal before R&C.

A game I would so want to play if it wasn’t for other games I’m more interested in shortly after resident evil 8 for one, the mass effect legendary edition I’m extremely hyped for one of my favourite games ever and I so want to platinum it or all three depending on how they have re organised the trophy list maybe all as one game or still three separate games anyway also got deathloop which by the time I’m done with resident evil and mass effect it will probably be between returnal and deathloop which is slightly typical both have the die and reset mechanic but that’s probably where the similarities end there both seem very different and I don’t know which to go for afterwards knowing my luck probably a completely different game.

@playstation1995 I don’t think either looks better or worser because we have barely seen anything from either aside from a 2 min trailers and there both still in development so I would wait till a lengthy demo or the actual release before definitely saying which looks better but even then it’s a game so which plays better is more important. I will say I think the facial expression when she was hiding from the dragon was a ton better and looked exactly like the actor but that’s probably why it looked better it wasn’t a crafted face but the actors face just a guess to why.

@FactCheck ps5 console exclusive not ps5 exclusive so it’s launching on pc and ps5 just not on any other console like Xbox. I believe it’s a 24 month timed exclusive console though to ps5.

@JoshuaTChandler I’ve tried it but I can’t put a finger on what it is the problem but the more intimate the multiplayer match so less players, small arena and especially the type of game the last of us is even in multiplayer which it’s slow paced thoughtful gameplay the more I find myself stressed out and having panic attacks, I can only play multiplayer when it’s the opposite so battlefield I can play large open to many players so no one cares about one guy doing his own thing I’m not a team player but even sometimes then I panic so I cannot get into the multiplayer of the last of us even though there’s no denying it’s amazing, without therapy anyway and that’s even more depressing than not getting a platinum but by being mentally blocked from playing amazing multiplayer games.

I’m pretty much the same but it’s mainly due to anxiety issues if someone try’s to message me I panic and turn off the console also I can be sitting for half an hour on the matchmaking screen pressing cancel and accept because feel to anxious to play but I really like game. The platinum though I missed out on due to online play is the last of us I have all the single player trophies just missing the multiplayer ones.

I already had FF7R so only remnant and far point are new to me seems ok but it’s worth mentioning that the ps plus version of FF7R doesn’t get the ps5 upgrade version confirmed by Sony you have to buy the game which I did at launch so I guess I’m happy for once I brought it rather then get through ps plus.

I remember playing them all on the N64 1-3 I didn’t have a save pak so I had to start from the beginning every time barely making it that far, I also remember watching the gameplay that appears from staying on the start screen to long where it shows all the weapons remembering I’ll never see anything more than the shotgun and pistol 😭😭😭.

Just tried it out and I think it feels great adds to the experience for me nothing spectacular but nothing that interrupts and makes the experience worse either.

@thedevilsjester hitman 3 is going to support it hopefully they will do the dual sense well, other upcoming games deathloop, ghostwire Tokyo and resident evil 8 and pretty much all the PlayStation studios exclusives will support it very well horizon 2 forbidden west is probably the one I’m most excited to see but to my overall point by the end of 2021 we should be able to tell to what extent the dual sense is a gimmick or a true next gen experience, I suspect with some third party developers it will be a gimmick (Ubisoft) some may embrace it like COD CW I brought that game just for the triggers I’m not a COD gamer and of course which developers will fully support it likely PS exclusive developers and by the end of 2021 we will know for the future where to expect the best gaming experience on the ps5 using dual sense and from which developers where as right we still wondering and developers are still tweaking should be exciting.

@nessisonett while I agree some people would of voted against the last of us part 2 because of the undeserved hate I disagree ghost of Tsushima won because of it, it also like the last of us part 2 is an amazing game worthy of winning this award and even the game of the year if it does. To be clear I voted for the last of us part 2 I’m pretty much everything except art and music but for me either ghost of Tsushima, doom eternal or the last of us part 2 are my favourites among the nominees and I doubt ghosts of Tsushima won just to hate on it there all great games in fairness.

Luckily for me watch dogs legion is the only game I brought on PS4 to upgrade to ps5 wish for me is also not working but I brought the ps5 version of assassin’s creed Valhalla so ok there.

Just waiting for Call if duty CW to download looking forward to having a go with the adaptive triggers on the dual sense with the game and the 120hz mode.

I’ve got the games I want to play delivered demon’s souls, assassin’s creed Valhalla and Spider-Man MM ultimate edition but the ps5 for me isn’t out till the 19th.

@nessisonett same here for me it’s extreme anxiety issues that prevents me from playing online that much I end up turning the console off in a panic attack when people attempt to talk to me, a game I would of platinum if it wasn’t for multiplayer is the last of us I have all the single player trophies I deserve my platinum for that you have to play it on survival difficulty twice.

I fully completed and platinum this game when it first came out within that month I think the reviews were unfair and the game was bloody brilliant, however I did have loads of environmental disappearing glitches like I would be driving the bike fast then there would suddenly be a car or Boulder appear if front of me and I crash or I would be driving along a completely flat environment which would remain that way all the way through my play through in the same specific place.

Like Xbox SX is doing I expect all games that have 60 FPS target but can’t reach it on current gen to be able to reach that 60fps target as standard on ps5. God of war deserves a 4K 60fps mode.

8/10 would of been 9 but I chose heat sink instead of power supply as I tapped it I knew I was wrong but to late and the last question I didn’t think to count the pieces.

@Arugula the only uncharted I haven’t played but have on my backlog hopefully they upgrade it in a way it would got to getting me to finally playing it over other games.

Can’t imagine the load times since ghost of Tsushima barely has any now on PS4.

Wow I’ve only got 29 platinum level 356 working on my 30th before PS5 but I consider 29 to be quite good considering I only really started getting platinums in 2019.

As a PlayStation gamer that also has a Xbox one x I think the series s is a great idea I’ve pre ordered a ps5 and I wouldn’t consider a series x yet till there’s something on in but as a gamepass subscriber I decided to go for a series s to get a next gen Xbox I could always upgrade in the future but for now that will do.

Even before this announcement I already planned on getting a Xbox series s alongside my ps5 pre order and I have successfully pre ordered both so no matter what happens I am set.

The pre order mess was no easy with Xbox thanks to the fact we knew when it started and so did everybody else unlike ps5 to which I managed to get pre order easily because most didn’t even know it was there but with Xbox I couldn’t for two hours the website I wanted it from crashed managed to get one with Argos though and but unlike game they already took my money and unlike most people on here it seems I’m not greedy or selfish I only wanted one of each.

Yeah I feel like Sony lied or held the truth back but still doesn’t change my opinion about getting a ps5 I’m looking forward to all these upgrades and demon souls which is only a ps5 game.

All that needs to be ported to PS4 or 5 is metal gear solid collection then I’ll be happy and not care about ps1-3 backwards compatibility and I know ps now has metal gear solid 2,3 and I think peace walker but I want to own them natively including my favourite the first metal gear solid or third metal gear.

I would love to see FF7R but a ps5 enhancement trailer then maybe at the end a small teaser for FF7R part 2. I don’t think FF16 is gonna be a thing till after the FF7 remakes I believe they would like to get them finished and out before FF16 could be wrong though, don’t know if I want to be this time though because do think they should concentrate on finishing the remake first.

@theMEGAniggle as a PlayStation gamer I do have an Xbox one x and play it here and there mainly digitally or using game pass only have 3 disc games so even though I was thinking of getting an SX next year or in two years when actual next gen exclusives come out for it but the very cheap £250 for a next gen console with plenty of power for the amount of time I would play it is more than reasonable to the point I’m thinking of getting a ps5 and SS at launch and if I what to I could always trade it in for a SX in two years like I did with my one s to one x so I’m beyond excited for the Xbox consoles even as a PlayStation gamer.

£500 max I will be happy will of course pay more reluctantly but perfectly happy at £500 any less to get more games then I will be beyond happy.

I don’t mind digital games now I have 60 disc games my digital collection around 40 games big AAA not into smaller indie games that much so having Kena at launch digitally is perfectly fine with me, in fact if ps5 has the quick resume feature like Xbox SX digital will be better just swap and change game without loading or changing disc.

I wonder what happens if you manage to get all characters killed with permadeath on Game over? or maybe a default character that always there just in case.

Already platinum it should be fun to play it again for the third time on grounded with permadeath.

Next it will be ps5 turn to delay there exclusive games still I’ll be waiting till ps5 launch before playing avengers with confirmed next gen support and also watch dogs legion and assassin’s creed Valhalla and of course cyberpunk 2077 so there’s plenty of games at the end of the year enhanced for next gen even if not exclusive, I’m sure Spider-Man won’t be delayed 😨.

Not really worth a discussion we are allowed to like a specific console it’s not like he done the fanboy thing of calling one crap over the other or saying there exclusive games are bad he just said it’s better and in terms of power and performance it is but the difference in reality for consumers we probably won’t notice any in third party games and if there is any the difference will be far less than the difference between PS4 pro and the one x.

Unlock the deflect arrows skill asap that way you can just hold the block button and arrows are automatically deflected by Jin just like geralt does in the Witcher 3 makes the archers not a problem anymore.

I really hate multiplayer trophies as a single player gamer with anxiety it’s impossible for me to play and rely on other people, I got every single player trophy on the last of us but because I didn’t do the multiplayer I missed out on the platinum and I don’t mind difficulty trophies as long as there fair and completely doable the last of us again as an example and I’ve platinum mass effect 2 which was fun on insanity also the Witcher 3 which was actually easy on the hardest difficulty on new game + with all your gear and skill points transferring.

5/15 oops 😬 looks like I need a refresher but what I was surprised by was MAG 256 player count I remember when battlefield 4 came out on PS4 with 64 player count being a big thing compared to ps3 32 so they should do another MAG game or one like it with a high player count sounds fun.

I love how the video takes the mick out of all the people doing the AR videos especially the ones on YouTube to which I’ve been commenting on as they claim they have the ps5 when it’s obviously the AR thing.

Xbox has become a Microsoft service as opposed to a console, developers for Xbox now have to makes games for a variety of low end to high end pc and Xbox one - one x - series x also gamepass and there other services, for the first couple of years Xbox series x won’t be a next gen console for developers to focus there creativity and what they want to make with no restrictions like Sony first party with ps5 Will be able to, third party developers will still support everything obviously it doesn’t matter for them regardless.
It’s not like PS4 gamers are short on exclusives like Xbox gamers are with so many this year weather fully exclusive eg ghost of Tsushima or timed exclusives eg final fantasy 7 remake and console exclusive but on pc aswell eg godfall, deathloop.

I’m a assassin’s creed fan but I have to admit if true this may be a slaughter even I don’t know which to get first I mean honestly I will buy both anyway got cyberpunk pre ordered already and I will get ac pre ordered to, so it’s not like it matters but I think the majority of my time will be for cyberpunk but let’s see what the demo tomorrow brings if it’s anything like the leak which I’ve watched then I’ll be disappointed because it didn’t look like an end of generation game cyberpunk does and a game like assassin’s creed that being ghost of Tsushima does hell they look like next gen games on current gen but Valhalla didn’t at least in the leaked demo maybe the demo tomorrow and the final product will look amazing I hope so because as I said I’m a fan and I was originally excited for it.

I’m surprised the fact dirt 5 on ps5 supporting 120fps same as Xbox SX is only being talked about I receive my PlayStation uk magazine around the 20th so I already seen this two weeks ago I wonder if there will be anything new this month I will see ahead of some of these news outlets.

I only brought myself an LG B9 to go with ps5 early this year, only though recently started enjoying it because true motion was on and all my games had a terrible ghosting effect I had no idea what it was till I googled it but I’m ready for 120FPS however I will probably go for an in between mode with 4K 60fps with high visuals when available I’m not one for noticing the difference between 30-60 FPS never mind 120 being a console gamer, let’s face it you want the highest FPS and visuals you used to get yourself a decent monitor and pc which I’ve never had.
