@Orpheus79V yeah vin diesel is rather obsesed with the franshise ever since part 4 when he became a producer. the game was most likely his idea and i would not be suprised if he had any insights towards the script.

also for his deadpan performance, well that's just how vin diesel "acts". he's always in the same stoic state no matter what emotion he has to portray. unless it's angryness, then he can be a bit shouty

Re: PS5 Moneyhat Speculation Rumbles On

People fuming at Sony for this are better off venting their frustration at their own gaming system of choice for not doing this themselves.

They just allowed Sony to go all in with this and i don't blame Sony for taking the oppertunity.

Call it anti consumer all you want at the end of the day, this is still a business. And business can be hard and needs to be played smart to stay on top.

MS bought bankrupt studio's,Sony's aswner is making big deals with 3rd party studio's. it's not pretty, but that's how it has always been and has proven to work more often than not. Also stuff like this can Also raise Some attention towards those games So it's a win win.

Re: Xbox Sure Did Announce a Lot of Timed Exclusives This Week

jdv95

i mean phil has been contradicting himself for a while now. even the series x is contradicting itself with raw power but locking it's potential behind current gen harware.

his most recent interviews was just throwing shade at sony because he knew the xbox event would not match the ps5 event. simply because they started focusing on exclusives way to late resulting in nothing of worth in the first years of next gen. why else would he first invest all that money in exclusive studios, only to come out and say that locking people out is anti consumer? because none of his "mic drops" are ready yet and is trying to save his face.

Re: Mafia: Definitive Edition Looking Good in 14 Minutes of Gameplay Footage

@1_W1NG3D_4NG3L as someone interested in mafia lore in general i would recomend them.
it's a more down to earth, gritty alternative to gta without the attempt to be edgy for the sake of it.

mafia 3 can be repetitive in it's mission structure though, since it's all the same objectives to clear out the enemy bases. but the first 2 are great.

@get2sammyb just the usual questions i have seen some people have on reddit like do side quests have to be completed before a specific story mission,is there post story open world access,is there water traveral other than swiming etc. i know some of these questions can be found in reviews, but it would be easier to have them answered in a single article than having to go over multible reviews just to find 1 specific answer to a question.

Re: Ghost of Tsushima - One of the Greatest Open World Games of the Generation

jdv95

@ShogunRok how is the open world in terms of world building outside of side missions? are there means of enviormental story telling in the open world? I mean things like locations with it's own little story you can piece together via items found in that location or people talking about locations of interest Kinda like red dead etc.

Re: Xbox Boss Implies PS5 Exclusives Are 'Counter to What Gaming Is About'

jdv95

@gmxs as i understand it,the first 2 years of next gen,the series x will not have exclusives,so the games they have shown are most likely years away from releasing. and since they spend the entire generation just buying studios instead of making games,it means they have nothing next gen worthy to release in the first 2 years since they just sarted developing them hence why phil says this crap.

Re: Xbox Boss Implies PS5 Exclusives Are 'Counter to What Gaming Is About'

jdv95

@Flaming_Kaiser i read a couple of days ago that cyberpunk will not release on gamepass. considering that cyberpunk has some PR deals with MS that is rather interesting. it only takes 1 respected developer to say no to start an influx of other devs to do the same. (sony with e3 for example). it's sad that 1 of your marketing partners with a hugly anticipated game does not see any reasons to launch on your "pro consumer" service compared to traditional release. but as sony shows with their exclusives sale numbers,if you make good games you don't need to rely on a subscribtion service to sell them. perhaps CDPR feels the same.

Re: Oh No, There's More Modern Day Stuff in Assassin's Creed Valhalla Than the Two Previous Games

jdv95

i like the MD. like adam said it was the only thing that made oddesey still an AC game.

hate it all you want, but it was always a part of the games and lore. it does not need to be removed at all,it just needs to be improved. the only reason it's crap these days is because people kept whining on how "boring" it was,and when the MD began to deflate because of those complaints those same people now complain it's bad and bland? no ***** sherlock

Re: Xbox Boss Implies PS5 Exclusives Are 'Counter to What Gaming Is About'

jdv95

@get2sammyb the whole xbox situation is just weird and contradicting itself.

the marketing of the series x almost tells a different story than what you read in phil's interviews. having the most powerfull console only to be limited by curren gen? why even bother marketing the series x that way if you are going to compromise that vision for gamepass. it's a dissapointment waiting to happen. not only will the visual difference between series x and ps5 be less of an impact that MS want you to believe, but hampering the difference even more by limiting your exclusives is just giving sony the upper hand in the next gen exclusive game yet again, which is why MS was so lacking sales wise this gen to begin with.

Re: Xbox Boss Implies PS5 Exclusives Are 'Counter to What Gaming Is About'

jdv95

not having next gen exclusives at the start is also counter to what next gen consoles sell for. unless you want to sell them years after release creating yet another gap behind sony.

having the most powerfull console will only get you so far. what's the point if that power won't be fully used untill a couple of years after the console released. meanwhile at the start of the next gen ps5 exclusives will look and perform better than xbox exclusives, because they won't be limited by old gen hardware giving the impression that the ps5 is more powerfull to the average gamer. not something you want to do if your entire campaign is about having the most powerfull console with the most TF is it phil?

Re: PS5 Pre-Order Pages Live on Amazon Australia

jdv95

yeah sony has done stealthy news drops before, but a price and pre order announcement seems way to big for it to be a stealth drop.

an announcement of the sort at the end of a state of play is more likely indeed.
