i do think sony has money to buy a third party studio.

they are just more carefull with it and would only use it when absolutly needed i think.

also sony can pull money from the movie and music branches if needed. they are not poor.

will they buy a third party studio now? no,but if this keeps up then they will simply need to in order to keep third party games and IP's on PS. and in those situations i think sony is willing to spend big.

i think i already know how sony will try to couter these things.

there is a rumor that ff games this gen will be PS exclsuive,i guess that eventually sony will buy IP's instead of studios since it's cheaper and it will keep those IP's on PS in the event MS buys another studio.

it would suck yes but tbh this would be more of a "survival" move by sony to keep third party games on PS.

notes like in TLOU games and uncharted are interesting since they tell more about the world and are ussually short.

horror games rely on notes and documents to understand the full story so you have to read them in those games.

the books in skyrim are nice things but i just pick them up but never read them.

tbh i don't understand why metacritic still have not put a system in plays that requires people to actually atleast own the game before posting a review.

that way legit user reviews can still be posted with valid critism while the obvious reactionary "reviews" or in some cases just plain trolls are out of the game.

sure rockstar could always say it's to keep the charm of the original but when that specific piece of charm was due to time limit and not intentional then maybe it should be in the remastered version decades later. especially since they don't need to make an all new game compared to when it first came out and they have the know how from san andreas swimming.

i just don't get why they even bothered to offer offline play if there was not any progress tied to it.

just make it 100% online only instead of trying to lure in some unsuspecting people with the elusion of a solo mode that get's you nothing.

i know that it was always marketed as a online game but still. adding a solo mode without progress sounds fishy to me.
