please sony just add those dates to all the games in the service instead of just notifying us days before they leave.
stupid that most games don't have a date. not as much a problem for smaller games but imagine starting up a big open world game only to be notified that it will leave the service soon just days before it does.
in order to make it happen i think the ESA need to do the following things: make the event cheaper for the publishers. 1 of the most notorious thing about e3 was that it's very expensive for publisher to have a show and booth space.
2 only allow press to go. the few times it also allowed regular people to go,it became way to hectic and overcrowed acording to press members.
3. let the publishers have a bigger say in the event's workings. let them pick their own time to host the show (within the week ofcourse).
4. don't chase trends such as trying to make it a influencer show they planned on doing in 2020. the press, fans and even publisher did not like that idea before that e3 was canceled.
if the ESA will be more friendly towards the publishers and press it might bring in some of them to give it another chance.
kinda like how geoff threats the publishers. respectfull and giving them breathing room.
i know sony has not comunicated this service all that well, but you can't deny that they are realy doing their best with the service and not phoning it in.
but from my memory the reboot kinda underperformed. it's why the next tomb raider is gonna be yet another reboot.
LIS is the most succesfull IP western square has in recent memory, outriders was popular enough for square enix to consider it a new franshise soon after release. and just cause just keeps getting new games no matter the reception. perhaps because they are not to expensive to make because of assets they keep re using.
meanwhile avengers was not at a success at all, deus ex is in limbo because of poor sales. guardians did well enough though, altough it had a slow start.

12/15. best score yet!
Re: Assassin's Creed Mirage Images Have Leaked, Reveal Pre-Order Mission
@nomither6 also used to want that, but doing so would lose alot of it's appeal tbh.
the historical setting is now the main selling point of AC afterall.

Re: Poll: Was Summer Game Fest Live a Show to Remember?
it was not good.

Re: Infamous 3DO Romantic Comedy Plumbers Don't Wear Ties Plunges PS5, PS4 This Year
i mean it's obvious that this is a sign that a sequel will be announced at summer game fest live.
better yet,it will be the closing announcement!

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 429
@GorosBat i like it aswell.
sitting on 40 mill just from the club lol.
it's kinda addicting.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 429
see if i can finish the cabaret club and clan creator in yakuza kiwami 2.
also a bit of sniper elite 5.
Re: Poll: Did Sony's Latest State of Play Livestream Live Up to the Hype?
felt like a mini e3 so yeah!
Re: Sniper Elite 5 (PS5) - Dense Stealth Sandbox Shooter Is a Real French Fancy
still have realy fond memories of the sniper elite 3 MP.
if this one has the same popular playerbase it should be fun.
Re: PS Plus Premium's PS1 Games Can Have Trophies After All
i know sony has not comunicated this service all that well, but you can't deny that they are realy doing their best with the service and not phoning it in.
Re: SEGA Says Loads of New Games Are Coming This Year, Including Remakes and Remasters
p4 golden for ps4/5.
that has my priority. weird that we have arena but not the main game lol.
still feels like it will come some day.
Re: EA's Lineup for 2023 Includes an Unannounced Remake, a 'Major IP', and More
@Korgon if true then EA realy wants it to be a franchise.
the first game did not realy sell Well including 2 which already was a bit of a reboot. Surprised if EA would give it a 3rd chance.
Re: PS5 Fans Hope Mind Blowing Unreal Engine 5 Demo Is a Glimpse of the Future
@nyXhc420 tbh we did get some very good looking games.
TLOU 2,uncharted 4,HZD,red dead redemption 2 etc.
Re: Sadly, There Are Currently No Plans for Shenmue 4
@MisterXpoSay pretty sure that comment was a joke.
Re: VRR Support Patched into Ghostwire: Tokyo
suprised to see the game not having received a discount in the PS store considering deathloop did twice soon after it's release.
i know they are from different devs but there was a meh reception towards ghostwire before release kinda like with deathloop.
the game must be selling better i guess?
Re: Square Enix Retains Just Cause, Life Is Strange, Outriders IPs
@Golem25 lifetime sales for sure.
but from my memory the reboot kinda underperformed. it's why the next tomb raider is gonna be yet another reboot.

Re: Square Enix Retains Just Cause, Life Is Strange, Outriders IPs
i guess those 3 are the most succesfull IP's the western branch has so make sense they would keep those.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 422
yakuza kiwami.
Re: The Witcher 3 PS5 Version Delayed as CDPR Moves Development In-House
@Jaz007 plus saber did the reasonable good switch port of the witcher 3,which runs suprisingly well considering the hardware it's running on.
Re: The Witcher 3 PS5 Version Delayed as CDPR Moves Development In-House
hmm so now CDPR is working on the expansions for cyberpunk, the new witcher game AND taken on work on witcher 3 remaster.
i'm worried this will backfire considering their development problems with cyberpunk.
you would think they would learn and take on 1 project at a time to prevent overwork, and spreading themselves to thin.
Re: The Witcher Dev Wants to Make Something Extraordinary with Unreal Engine 5
Whenever I see a witcher 3 thumbnail,I always think it's about a release date of the ps5 version lol.
Re: Sniper Elite 5 Goes Gold Ahead of May Release Date
sniper elite always have good campaigns and sniper elite 3's MP is 1 of the few MP's i realy enjoyed.
Re: Test Your PlayStation General Knowledge - Issue 5
9/15.
that's all i have to say push square.
Re: Test Your PlayStation General Knowledge - Issue 4
9/15. worst performance so far
Re: Gran Turismo 7 Meets Ghost of Tsushima in the PlayStation Crossover Art No One Saw Coming
"If you add a horse mode, let us know."
a grand tursimo dlc set in the 1800's would be a great april fools event tbh.
Re: Horizon Forbidden West: How Long Does It Take to Beat?
hmm so there are 17 main story missions but oit takes roughly 30/35 hours to be the story.
so is each mission like 2 hours long or something?
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Update 1.5 Patch Notes are Gigantic and Game-Changing
i wonder what those "new secrets" in night city are.
do they mean new quests that the old gen can't handle what?
Re: Capcom Countdown Teases Reveal for Next Week
@captainaverage yep there has been a rumor for it a long time.
that's why it would be awesome if they confirmed it.
Re: Capcom Countdown Teases Reveal for Next Week
@Voltan damn man this year is already insane!
Re: Capcom Countdown Teases Reveal for Next Week
resi 4 remake wouls be awesome.
Re: Horizon Forbidden West (PS5) - Excellent Sequel Is a PS5 Essential
@Voltan oh wow so a good 60/70 hours for complettion, that's awesome.
Re: Horizon Forbidden West (PS5) - Excellent Sequel Is a PS5 Essential
@Quintumply that's awesome. 30 hours for story so it's a bit longer then hzd's story?
Re: Horizon Forbidden West (PS5) - Excellent Sequel Is a PS5 Essential
@Quintumply so can i ask the usual boring "how long to complete " question?
i only skimmed trough the the review to prevent spoiler sorry.
Re: Horizon Forbidden West's Cinematic Trailer Builds Serious Hype for Next Week's Release
god that soundtrack is fantastic.
Re: Rumour: Final Fantasy 9 Remake, Final Fantasy Tactics Remaster, and Many More Could Be Real After All
hmm i doubt it would be like the ff7 remake though.
something more in line with the dragon quest 3 remake would be more reasonable to expect.
