@Matroska wasn't doubting you played them, was doubting the fact that you didn't die. Some of crushing was ridiculous. Especially the first one in some of the later levels. Also most deaths were FROM the jumping and climbing as it was very easy to misjudge a jump or just end up going a different direction than you'd planned to lol. But yeah, you're right, completely different beasts.

@nessisonett Could well have been looking at screen shots. Had no idea it had mp as I used to sneak time alone on my brothers ps2 when he was out.

I think the last Bond game I played was on ps2. I don't even know which one it was, I know it was based on Brosnan, and there was a level in a snowy mountain ski resort type thing. I enjoyed it for what it was.
EDIT: Worth noting, I have never watched a Bond film all the way through except for Goldeneye and Skyfall, so I can't exactly class myself as a big fan!

Out of the 1 2020 game I played, my vote has to go to Ff7, what a great game.

I have still got the og ps4 with 500gb hdd. I have about 10 games installed, including hzd and bloodborne, and have not even come close to filling it. This is more than enough space for someone like me.

For about the 19th week, still playing Digimon Cyber Sleuth Hackers Memory. Need 11 'mons 😵 and abyss server. And last colisseum. And 21 medals.
Ergh.

@TheFrenchiestFry literally none of that stops them from adding them for the ps4. In fact I'd argue that makes it even less of an issue, as "everyone" has already played these games anyway, the 3 people left who haven't will not be costing Sony much as they won't be playing them, right? It could in fact also open up extra sales due to dlc for some of the games, from a 100 million user base. Sorry but nope, I don't think I can be persuaded on this that there is a decent enough reason they haven't done it. Each to their own I guess.

@TheFrenchiestFry they've also said they're supporting the ps4 until 2022, and the 100 million plus users on the system still have a huge attach rate for psplus subs that aren't going anywhere. They can still entice new players (ie with the enhancements) without spitting in the face of old ones.

Sorry, but there is absolutely no reason they couldn't have stuck this on ps4 as well. In fact they could have played that as a massive selling point, whilst also highlighting the fact that all these games would run better on the ps5 if you wanted to see the difference for yourself and upgrade. It's a massive F you to all the ps4 people that bought plus and made it the success it has been for Sony, especially those that wanted to but who weren't even able to secure their ps5 due to the current limitations. But as per, Sony can do no wrong.

Honestly, frankly it's a piss take that people with Ps4 plus can't get them anyway. Sure, get them on ps5 for the better resolution and what not but that's behind a £500 paywall.

5) Astro bot VR
4) Ff7 remake
3) God Of War
2) Spider-Man
1) Horizon (though no longer ps exclusive)

Edit; Lost legacy was much better than uc4, that game was a disappointment.

I believe this will be, and I'm glad for that fact as this is literally the only thing for me worth getting on ps5 (besides astro bot but that comes with it) now hzd is a ps4 game.

The line up is fine, probably one of the best in months.
I don't think SoW was as good as SoM from what I played, but still good. Haven't played Hollow Knight but hear great things.
But there wasn't an option for "we should have access to the ps plus collection on ps4" so I didn't vote.

@Shstrick I was in that boat too, on a og Ps4. Other than the piss poor (ie nonexistent) textures in a few places, it mostly ran like a dream.

@Grayjedi13 Yeah I get that it's cheaper than 3d models, but why not stylise it? Make it look like sor4 or something, give it its own identity but make it look like it wasn't just a budget issue. I dunno, each to their own, I'm just sick of 8 bit/16 bit looking stuff that's made a resurgence in recent years.

@Medic_Alert In that instance, consoles should have a disc swapper like old hi-fi units used to have. Bang in 2, 3, 4 games, and they literally just rotate out. Can't imagine they'd be too difficult to slap in.

Honestly seems like there's just way too much going on. I very much like minimalist stuff and that is definitely not it. And I don't like how all those cards take up so much of the screen, they could have been down the side and taken up much less real estate. Not that it matters too much I won't be getting one until the slim comes out and by that point the BC will have been removed and the ui updated.

Wont be getting a ps5 until the slim releases, and by then they'll probably have done away with BC anyway.

Despite the fact they're getting slated (rightly so for the most part), I think they're very much at the stage where they're just like "f|_|ck it, no more info before release" - they have already sold out of all the pre-orders EVERYWHERE, they're literally unable to sell anymore at this point. They don't need to do anything else as the diehards will have already pulled the trigger.
