@get2sammyb they gave out hzd to EVERYONE in pandemic. No chance they give this to everyone free.

@twitchtvpat people keep saying there's no games due to the pandemic and whatever else, yet 3rd party studios seem to be able to bang out game after game. It's piss poor management that is the reason there's no 1st party stuff, on either side. Cancellation of many games that were originally live service to milk the audience further, no smaller sized "miles morales" type stuff to fill any gaps while waiting for the big releases. It's bad management, and misplaced priorities. Nothing else.

Disk drive, that stupid little vertical stand, full ps1 / 2 and 3 support natively and maybe the outrage of the price wouldn't exist. I'm amazed they didn't opt for some sort of ps3 emulation at the very least.

@NoCode23 ps5 doesn't have the ps + [ ] zoom? What a terrible accessibility feature to remove. I rely on that more than I'd like to admit as devs decided tiny text was the way forward. I'm not even someone with a disability, my eyes are just crap!

I banged out 100+ hours during lockdown on the first one, this being the reason I eventually get a ps5, I'm prepared to double that figure. Looks absolutely phenomenal.

Spider-man 2 bundle and get free dead space for 399.99. I nearly bought it but of course nowhere in the country had any left in stock. Why leave it on the site if no available stock?

K so I went a bit mad on this one, not something I'd normally do.
But bought resident evil 4 deluxe edition (and the seperate ways dlc)
Horizon burning shores for when I finally get a ps5
And God of war ragnarok!
£90 something quid spend which is unheard of for me!

Is the deluxe version of gow ragnarok worth the extra? Or is vanilla fine for the price? Only on ps4 not 5.

@Deityjester yeah I've heard of their scummy practices. Locking you out of paid dlc etc is horrendous.

If they hadn't spunked 4 billion on bloody bungie (who have done seemingly nothing except cancel one of their biggest studios most ambitious games 😂) they'd have money to do so. Square Enix would be suited. As would capcom, koei tecmo and even level 5. Think they've missed the boat on most of the acquisitions that would have made most sense.

@Flaming_Kaiser maybe so. But if they bought the whole company, they'd gain access to spidey in film and that alone is worth billions. It'd also be the best bet to get into gaming, buy the biggest name in it and then be free to slap your games everywhere. Be pocket change for the mouse as well.

Disney should buy Sony. Just spider-man is enough to justify.

Hzd was my game of the generation. I don't know what it is about hfw that isn't having the same effect, but in the 12 or so (if that) hours I've played and collected 19 million trees and flowers, it just hasn't dragged me in. Maybe it's the space clones. Or the fact I've not blasted through it as haven't had time to dedicate to it. I'm currently having a syphon filter marathon (when I get chance) so hopefully that'll be a pallete cleanser and I can go back and enjoy it.

I was on extra up until a couple of days ago when I upgraded to premium. It cost me £22 something for 735 days so as I had credit in my wallet, I thought why not.
No idea why as I don't have time to play the games I already have from extra without adding new ones at a constant clip.

As a ps4 owner, I've missed the yuffie dlc. IF I was to upgrade to ps5 to play that, would I need to start over? Or can I import save from ps4 and just get the dlc that way? Is it only available after the game?

@Shepherd_Tallon man I mastered sooooo much materia and everyone was maxed, but that accessory just broke the game 😂 but yeah definitely would hope that 100+ hours of lock down grinding would not just be discarded. I like the idea of scaling everything too.

Said it before but I'd like (at least some) of your inventory to carry over from previous (maybe not the gotterdammerung!) . And for those who haven't, maybe a random selection of materia and items/weapons

I'll be fair, if it wasn't such a beautiful game (and it really is stunning), it wouldn't have got as much praise. The story is quite good and the characters are quite good, but the gameplay loop (and combat) is repetitive and, although I platted it, I had to do so in short bursts so not to burn out. Inevitably in the minority though.

@Matroska not really got any kind of response for this one to be fair, other than agreeing in principle, but it doesn't change the fact that there is next to no focus from Sony on ps5, mostly pc and cross gen. But I do appreciate the fact that you aren't just diving into "protect the corporation at all costs" mode like a lot of the die hard fans round these parts tend to do.

@WallyWest already mentioned, ps4 and pc, yeah fair enough plus pc, ps4, ps4, much maligned and also broken on pc, ps4, ps4 and yeah maybe.

But which of those ps4 and pc things are reasons for the ps5 to be selling well? They may have released stuff but none of that is a reason for ps5 doing well. My point is they have done nothing for the ps5. Which is amazing considering how well it's selling.
