But that's my personal opinion, I'm sure many disagree. The game is a lot shorter than the original RE3.

RE3 Remake is worth about £15. Can't believe I paid full price for it, it should have been DLC to RE2.

Anyone else absolutely hate the archers in this game? I'm trying to pull off some sick samurai moves and I'm getting spammed by arrows. It's frustrating.

@Gamer83 agreed, it's a shame. We all enjoy the same hobby. Some people just have genuine criticisms and get unfairly demonised as some sort of "ism". If that was the case then Horizon, Tomb Raider, Metroid, etc would all recieve the same type of "hate".

Some people definitely go over the top with their criticisms, but it's definitely a minority.

@WallyWest maybe it's both? People weren't just angry about the death of a character, but ND abusing the copyright claim system on YouTube and dismissing most criticisms of the games narrative as "right wing sexists".

There's a middle ground that no one seems to see.

Personally I loved the game, solid 8/10

@Ear_wiG I'm the same as you, I go for performance mode usually but I've tried resolution mode for a while now and haven't experienced any frame rate dips, or any that's noticeable at least. Give resolution mode a go

@SoulChimera tell you what, that Faith introduction when you first go to that region was actually amazing.

I love this game. I just wish they'd patch the Pro version to make the VR look cleaner.

Have to admit that Far Cry 5 was my favourite, it's the only FC game I could be bothered going for the platinum for.

Good, I'm very happy about this. Its what connects all the games, they need to focus more on modern day stuff, make it have meaning again, like when the world was going to end in 2012.

Modern day stuff needs more focus and direction, either execute it better, make it have a point, or drop it all together and drop the scifi story that connects the games.

@Nakatomi_Uk give Odyssey a try, I loved it! It's bloated but I was never bored or fed up. It's my favourite since Black Flag.

I wouldn't pay that for any games with microtransactions, but any other game, sure.

@Matroska you're right! That's what I meant, I forgot the name of the rank. It doesn't change much within the game, its only required for the platinum, which most won't be bothered with.

@banacheck hardest difficulty is pretty much exactly the same as easy tbh. It's the only way to get an S rank with deliveries. The combat might be a bit trickier but not by much at all. Its a very easy, and very fun platinum to achieve

@Fuzzymonkeyfunk glad to hear many loved it. The ending of that game is perfect imo, I really don't want a sequel.

@SuperNintendoMii Death Stranding is 10/10 imo. My personal game of the generation, I can see why many won't like it, but it's a game that clicked with me.

@Eldritch unfortunately I'm very aware. People are being arrested for jokes, with the state prescribing intent to the accused. We have police resources being wasted monitoring "offensive" comments on twitter, sending the police to peoples homes to "check their thinking".

Agreed, I feel bad for Laura Bailey, it seems most are sending positive messages her way now. But British people usually make light of serious events, it doesn't mean we agree with what's happening. I have pretty dark humour myself. No point getting upset over people making light of a serious situation, unless they're being malicious and not trying to lighten the mood.

That's cruel... At least it's a tiny minority of people. I thought she was great as Abby, I really liked that character. Her parts of the game had some of the best moments.

That's pretty interesting as well, doesn't sound like it was done in a agenda pushy way at all, but in a pretty nuanced way. He was a good character, I loved the game. Not sure if I prefer it to the first, I completed it last night, I need to think on it a little.

Even if there is a new PoP game I just have a feeling it will be an open world, live service game. If its like the Sands of Time trilogy I'll be happy.

@Ken_Masters I don't think that's fair to say tbh. The story is very basic, it's not a complicated story at all, it's been told millions of times, it's just executed extremely well. I think people just don't like the direction of the story, which is a fair criticism. I disagree, I'm enjoying it, but I get why some people aren't happy.

12 hours in, I'm really enjoying the story so far. The flashbacks are great, the acting is brilliant. The dialogue can be a little cringe but that's about it.
