I enjoyed the game, but didn't love it like RE7. The story and its pacing was all over the place compare to RE7. The best section of the game was the one that feel-look like a PT knockoff.
Every job posting seems to always says that about the new project(s) a company is working on, which is fine, but that's it... No newsworthy, just your everyday job posting.
No one is going to ever say "we are hiring for the smallest and less ambitious project we have ever done in 10 years, so come and join us"
@Agramonte I honestly think GamePass is going to dangerous for gaming in the long run. Right now, it is all rainbows and unicorns, but it won't be always like that.
Without knowing, GamePass is conditioning people to not buy indie games (or games in general) and just wait for the games to come to GamePass. They are making people think that getting (aka renting) the games via GamePass supports the developers the same way as if they were actually buying the games, which is just absolute BS-nonsense.
@Sakisa I usually look at the WW monthly (digital and physical) charts (North America, Europe, Asia) every month... and it just doesn't look well at all either, especially for SP new games. You hardly see games in that platform reaching the top ten, especially in Europe and Asia
I don't care about Smash, especially as a fighting game.... Honestly I had more fun with games like Power Stone than Smash. Now that was a fun game. If only Capcom brought it back from the death, but whatever...
A Marvel Vs Capcom type of game with PS characters (and guess characters) is what I want. That will be more up my ally (when it comes to fighting games) and it will work better in the competitive arena too. Arc System Works should make.
@Ken_Kaniff Indies do eventually come to all platforms (unless the game was directly funded by Nintendo or MS), so it does not matter.
This notion that MS or Nintendo has better indies than PS is absurd (not to mention subjective to each individual) since most, if not all of them, are timed exclusives (6 months to 1 year usually), and, like I said before, they will eventually come to all platforms.
He is acting like a child here by making these threats (no matter what). He needs to calm down, no one needs to ask him for his permission/blessing (he isn't Hideo Kojima) to make another Twister Metal game, that's the reality. We don't see Shinji Mikami treating Capcom every time a new Resident Evil comes out, do we?
@NEStalgia Then, objectively, what is the best game of all time for you? Pac-man? Super Mario Bros? Mario Odyssey? Space Invaders? Metal Gear Solid? Pong? Bloodborne? Shadow of Colossus?
I'm sure you are going to objectively give it to one that deserves it and that everyone can agree with, right? After all, giving it to God of War (2018), which is an exceptional game, is a "bad joke" according to you. You probably would have been fine if a game like The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which is also an exceptional game, had won that "best game of all time" poll.
The fact is that there is no "best game of all time". It is all subjective and that changes with time. It just happen that right now a lot of people think that God of War (2018) is that game, which I don't have a problem with since, like I said before, it is a remarkable game.
weird.... you would have thought that they would have prioritized 60fps (for the new consoles) especially for a fighting game.... Oh well, better late than never.
If anyone think this is normal, then you are out of your mind (no offence).
This isn't the same as your usual outsourcing (something lots of studios do), this is a full-on partnership (big difference)... again, not normal at all... It also tells you quite a bit about the state of that game and the overall leadership there at The Initiative. Not good...
It is like finding that Sony Santa Monica suddenly it is making a partnership with Rocksteady Studios to help on their new game (Cory Barlog's game)... yea sure, not weird at all...
@JAMes-BroWWWn Agree.... Honestly, users like Slippship are annoying as hell, especially when they start giving a bunch of BS statements like that. They seem to live in LaLaLand and refuse to accept reality (people still actual buys games at full prince, be it 60 or 70) even if it is sitting right in front of them.
Here is the reality, for a console that is still hard to find, these games are actually selling pretty well at full- price, be it physically or digitally. You just need to take a look at the worldwide monthly charts (digital and physical) posted to the public every month to see that. No BS....
@SamMR What does make a game "true next-gen only"? graphics? level design? gameplay mechanics? AI? You could argue then that a game like Deathloop isn't "next-gen" either... and that it should be on PS4 as well.
Here is the reality, if you are expecting every single game that comes exclusively to these new consoles to blow your mind... either graphically, gameplay wise, or by the way it is designed (levels), then you will be disappointed.
Sure, some games will evolve more than others, but that will take time, and even then, not all games will drastically change, especially in terms of level design and gameplay.... even less remakes like this.
@Matroska more and more of those big/middle Japanese gaming companies like Atlus/Sega, Bandai Namco, etc. are putting a lot more (and I mean a lot more) emphasis in the western market nowadays, even more than Japan in some cases (more money to gain out there in the console space than in their own home country).
Switch doing better in Japan doesn't mean anything when it comes to Persona console exclusivity because of that... Also, like someone already stated, the new game will sell great in Japan when it launches regardless...
@Robocod these small indie developers and publishers should just stop this nonsense of exclusivity (temporary or not) unless they clearly stated that the game wouldn’t have been made without the help of MS, PS, or Nintendo.
I do think this is coming to all platforms though.
What is really the point of this? This is just some random BS award given to games that aren't out yet... why? because they can... even though they shouldn't because it doesn't make any sense to do so.
For god's sake Elden Ring isn't coming until next year (unless it is delay)
This information is worthless without the digital sales....
Talk to me when you get the digital numbers too...
And by looking at the amount each of those games in that list sold... it doesn't surprise me why most of the biggest and medium gaming Japanese companies (Sega, Atlus, Square Enix, Capcom, etc.) are looking more at the west for sales. Don't delude yourselves in thinking otherwise.
Also, the fact that the number #1 game in that list just sold a mere 14912 copies is awful.
As time goes by, Japan is become irrelevant in terms of sales when it comes to console/PC games. Right now (for better or worse) Japan is all about mobile games like Fate/Grand Order (by Aniplex), Arknights (by Yostar), Pokemon Go (Niantic), Uma Musume Pretty Derby (by Cygames), etc... that's what most people over there are actually playing (and like).
Cerny gave its blessing to both via twitter yesterday (https://www.videogameschronicle.com/news/ps5-architect-mark-cerny-has-revealed-his-ssd-of-choice/):
WD Black SN850 NVMe with heatsink (https://twitter.com/cerny/status/1421686135936348161)
Seagate FireCuda 530 with heatsink (Cerny liked a tweet asking if the rival drive was also a good option for expanding PlayStation 5’s internal storage)
I will probably go with the WD Black SN850 NVMe in the future. But for now, any of those should be good. I will still wait for Sony's final list though.
@Bleachedsmiles you sure love to talk about fanboys in this site a lot.... are you sure you are not a fanboy as well? GamePass fanboy perhaps? Usually fanboys do not know they are fanboys until is too late... just saying.
@neogyo I'm with you... it is annoying as heck. It sometimes feels like a BS PR campaign for that rental service (especially in this site).
Person B: That game look cool. I will probably buy it and play it sometime in the future. Person A: Hey! I'm planning on playing that game too Person B: Neat! Hope it is good and I hope you like... Person A: Via GamePass!! Do you know that you can play it by renting it via that service right now. It is "cheaper" and there is no need to buy it! Cool, right? You need to subscribe now!! You also get... Person B: Stop!! I really don't' care about any of that... I'm planning on buying it once it get discounted, that's all. I don't rent...
@Martsmall If you are willing to wait a whole year to play the game because GamePass (in this case September 2022), then that means the actual game doesn't really interest you, simple as that. This has nothing to do with value, but actual interest.
Now, if you were really interested in the game you will either play it close to release date or after it gets a discounted (3-6 months after released), but not wait a whole year to do so...
You would think if this wasn't the case the studio (aka Bluepoint) would have already written a tweet about it completely denying it (any sensate studio would have done that already)…. but they haven't... yea, so...
@TheFrenchiestFry Funny how the outcry seems to be only for the Persona series, but not for the Shin Megami Tensei series.
If they are thinking on releasing the Persona series into other platforms in the future, then it is only fair for them to release the Shin Megami Tensei series into other platforms as well. Don't do one, but not the other.
"...Bring Persona 5 to Switch/PC, but also bring Shin Megami Tensei V to PS4/PS5/PC..."
@Bleachedsmiles those fanboys that preach about GamePass every single time aren't any better, so spared me the BS. And look, here you are doing the same (joke or not, you are still promoting the damn thing). I'm sure MS is glad to see guys like yourself promoting their services for free.
@Ichiban There is nothing depressing there, unless it is your tastes in games that we are talking about. No hard feelings though, it is what it is... right?
Also, that list of games is made of Nintendo exclusives and Multiplatform games. There isn't a PS list, so I'm not sure what the hell are you talking about.... but whatever...
Funny how these E3 evens are so forgettable after the initial days. I honestly can only remember 5 games out all that was shown, and 3 of them are from Nintendo. Yea....
If you think is this just a stun played by a small indie unknown studio then you guys need to open your eyes.... There is something bigger going on here. Maybe it isn't Silent Hill (maybe it is), but it is horror related. Kojima is probably involved in one way or another. Also chill, this is a fun thing to follow. It is not like you are giving this studio money beforehand or something.
1) The studio stated that it has been working with PS since 2015 (that long?) 2) This year the studio said (via PS blog) that the game is in early states of development, but don't worry it is planned to released Q4 of this year (what?). It also stated (via Twitter) what we saw (teaser) isn't really actually the game. 3) The studio is releasing an app next week on the PS5 to showcase something (meant to next Tuesday, now Friday). First time ever I have seen a small indie unknown studio do that (how? why?). 4) And there is also this whole Geoff Keighley thing going on (he is following the account, he is acting weird when ask about this studio, etc.)
@Mergatro1d I'm with you.... it is annoying how some of users here keep repeating that same BS about "it comes to GP, so I will play it there" or "it is "free" with GP" like they were part of a PR machine for MS. It happens all the time, to the point it becomes tiresome and it is annoying as heck. Those guys should just give it a rest already...
@TooBarFoo the point of the article still stand.... E3 isn't really need it, especially the way it is right now. For example: Nintendo could have done its event at the end of June (no being part of E3) and nothing would have changed, for matter fact, it would probably have gathered even more attention by doing it that way.
This E3 was lackluster, simple as that. 1 good event and another one average within it doesn't change that.
@Tharsman It is a hard sell?... if the game is good and people really want it, they will buy it in the platform of their choice, simple as that.
This BS about "if it is in GamePass, not one is going to buy the game elsewhere because they will decide to rent it by subscribing to GamePass" is pure BS. I'm tired of hearing that same nonsense over and over, especially when that hasn't being the case at all (time to wake up, the real World is calling).
Who cares.... those that have a only PS will buy those games regardless, if they are interested. This doesn't change a thing. You are just making something out of nothing with articles like these, which for some odd reason you keep writing. You don't see your sister site Nintendo Life doing the same BS, do you?
These type of articles are becoming annoying as heck. Do better, be better...
I can't wait for E3 to hear people whining about how awful that event was as well, and how only 2-3 games looked interesting to them.... You know, the same old BS that happens every single year with these type of events, which is becoming somewhat laughable to be honest.
For this E3 (and since PS isn't going to be in that particular event), I'm only interested in Nintendo, Square Enix, and Capcom.
I'm also really interested on Elden Ring, but that most likely is going to be announced during the Summer Game Fest.
Whatever MS have in the pipeline (that's in new) that decided to reveal is probably years away (2-3 years away), which doesn't interest me in the slightest. I also don't care about games like Halo and/or Starfield, all which are probably going to take a good amount of their conference's focus...
Amazing ad... I'm sure I have said this before, but I'm going to say it again: I really love these type of ads PS puts every now and then for their main games.

Re: PS5, PS4's Sifu Busts a Move at The Club in New Trailer
The more I see of this game, the more I want to play it. It looks awesome. Day 1 for me.
Also, the art-style kickass.
Re: Talking Point: Did Summer Game Fest: Kickoff Live Blow You Away?
I can't wait for E3 to hear people whining about how awful that event was as well, and how only 2-3 games looked interesting to them.... You know, the same old BS that happens every single year with these type of events, which is becoming somewhat laughable to be honest.
My highlights:
Re: High-Profile Xbox Series X|S Horror The Medium Rated for PS5 Release
I played it a bit on PC.... and it was not for me. Good for those interested in it though.
Re: Talking Point: What Do You Expect from E3 2021 Next Week?
For this E3 (and since PS isn't going to be in that particular event), I'm only interested in Nintendo, Square Enix, and Capcom.
I'm also really interested on Elden Ring, but that most likely is going to be announced during the Summer Game Fest.
Whatever MS have in the pipeline (that's in new) that decided to reveal is probably years away (2-3 years away), which doesn't interest me in the slightest. I also don't care about games like Halo and/or Starfield, all which are probably going to take a good amount of their conference's focus...
Re: Sony Celebrates the Evolution of Ratchet & Clank
Amazing ad... I'm sure I have said this before, but I'm going to say it again: I really love these type of ads PS puts every now and then for their main games.
Really looking forward to this game.
