The original Gothic is great, but it's old, clunky, and from an era when developers were still trying to perfect controls in 3D (especially on PC). This is looking great and it will be nice to have this classic modernized and brought to a new audience.
@nessisonett Another PNW native here, I can confirm our urban deer are quite friendly and approachable when they aren't eating your garden, so this seems doable.
Enjoyed Last Recode but the gameplay gets a bit samey after a while. I really love the whole concept behind .hack (and the SAO games), something about simulated multiplayer is extremely appealing to me and when pulled off well it can be really immersive and fun. So that's a big YES that I'd like to see the series continue!
Tunic was such a surprise on game pass. It really is that good, and the soundtrack by Lifeformed is excellent. If the price is right I will totally pick this up on Playstation, there are so many secrets a second playthrough should be fun.
I really enjoyed my time in No Man's Sky on PSVR. The controls were decent and the immersion was great. It's was blurry mess, but it was fun and I experienced some awe inspiring moments for sure, like standing on a desolate moon, looking out over a solar system and feeling truly alone. Really hoping they can nail the visuals on the new headset. If they do, I'll probably sink another 20 hours in.
Got a few hours into it but put it down for other stuff. It seemed interesting from what little I played, and if the PS5 upgrade is free, I'll definitely give it another go.
Reminds me of the times when you'd leave a game on the main menu, and in a minute....it'd just start playing itself. And I don't see how this is a problem, especially for those who might have already finished the game. I'd like to go back and replay Until Dawn with different choices, but I'd be more likely to if I could just sit back and enjoy it without input, cause it can be stressful. This is good.
Having loved the Dusk and Mysterious alchemy systems, Ryza's was a bit of a disappointment to me. I'm really glad to see them returning to the grid, although a new series would have been welcome.
Elex is underrated and gets a bad wrap. It has issues but the game is still super fun and was worth putting 50+ hours into. Been waiting for the sequel since beating it years ago so this is great news!
The original and best Tomb Raider game. The atmosphere and ambiance are spot on, and the controls are so mechanical and precise that a good player can pull off some really amazing stuff. Other than surprise traps, it's a fair game that rewards patience, memorization and skill. Maybe I'll boot it up again in honor of the 25th!
How is the framerate on PS5? I can deal with SWERY jank (including buildings flickering out if existence) but poor performance on top of that is a no go.

Re: Nine Minutes of Dragon's Dogma 2 Gameplay Is Enough to Make You Drool
Poured hundreds of hours into the first. Probably my most anticipated game sequel ever and this gameplay does not disappoint.

Yowza. Would love to pre-order but that is a lot of money. Will stick with my OG PSVR and Quest for now.
Re: Final Fantasy 16 Development Now in the 'Home Stretch', on Schedule for Summer 2023
Can't wait for this. 15 was such a disappointing mess to me and it will be nice to finally have it behind another mainline entry.

I'd settle for a locked 60fps on PS5...

This article was worth reading if only for that punchline at the end. Nicely done.
