@Xaessya I was thinking the exact same thing, next thought was they might as tack on battle royale mode to other games like fifa/madden/need 4 speed, EA don't care 'cause they want all the money.

This is also what happens when you buy the complete season of any telltale game, you only get episode one on disc and download the rest, really hate this practice.

Does this mean no more Watch Dogs? Kind of hoping of watch dogs 3 or even prince of persia instead of assassins creed.

Feel sorry for Amy Hennig, 4 years of hard work down the drain, by the time she gets hired and starts development we won't see her game until 2022.

EA already has Battlefront 2 for the Loot/micro transactions, there was no need to close the studio or 'pivot' the game. Wonder how Anthem is gone to turn out.

I suspect no quality control was done before final release. Such a obvious problem clearly the game wasn't tested.

Of course there's gone to be a PS5, the question becomes will they bundle it with the next iteration of PSVR.

Nintendo didn't win from the MP4 logo , it won 'cause the games are coming out look so much fun, creative and interesting especially Super Mario Odyssey and the rabbids crossover game.
And don't forget ARMS this week and Splatoon 2 next month.

If GOW & Spiderman made it this year then it would be a different story.

NO. They should focus on PSVR, after RE7, it's been very quiet. Where's Sony first party AAA games? Where's the marketing? Are they back in stock? Why ain't Sony talking about it? Where are the sales numbers? What happened to 3rd party support? So many questions needs to be answered.

Too late. It will came down to price, games and marketing which is key because you will the have Xbox 1/S/Scorpio on the shelves which starts to get confusing and then customers will go for the cheapest option.

I reckon Sony is starting to treat the PSVR exactly like the Vita and probably had a tough time convincing third parties to make games when the install base is very tiny and sony themselves ain't making games either.
Why would devs waste 3 - 4 years and lose alot money just make a game for the PSVR. All sony can now is tack on VR for every game they make and try again with PS5.

Some possible reasons for this are withholding review copies, releasing unfinished games, broken online & sequelitis. Also, people like me are waiting for the definite editions to came out as dlc/season passes are to expensive.

Could it be Sony's marketing is non-existent, haven't seen anything regarding Slim/PSVR/Pro compared to Xbox1 S which I've been seeing ads everywhere on TV to youtube etc.....
It seems like Sony launched everything within a month and don't want to waste money to market 3 separate devices..

I would assume their would an sd slot so i don't mind the 32gb memory especially sd cards are really cheap and probably won't be no need to install games since the read speeds are way faster then a bluray disc. so overall i am not worried.

If PSVR sold 51, 644 but the only game to make it in the top 20 was PS VR Worlds and sell only 5,983 copies, should we be worried?

I have this gut feeling it's gone to became the next vita/3D but if it does actually sell and has a decent install base, i might grab one when they start releasing AAA games in the next 3 - 4 years and hopefully they release PSVR 2.

Great review, really hope sony puts some marketing muscle into psvr or it'll became like the vita/wii u. So far i have seen no ads/billboards and that's my main concern.

This is very sad considering sony is making a ton of profit with the ps4 and from my point of view the software output has been poor from sony but i hope horizon zero dawn is the turning point.

Would love to know who's gone to make their money back between FFXV and The Last Guardian. Square mentioned FFXV has to sell about 10 million copies to make it;s money back as for TLG who knows.

i agree with your statement but you got to remember Sony is pushing 4K TVs/Blurays to make it mainstream and not having a 4K player is gone to kill it.

No 4K playback, no ext Hdd support (from what i've read so far) and no increase CPU which means no improved framerates. What the hell is Sony doing or smoking?

If sony releases another consoles next year, that will be 3 consoles released within a year, that's overkill.

This has 3 usb 3 ports, does that mean it will have ext hdd support?

if this doesn't improve framerates then what's the point releasing this when MS scorpio around the corner.

This a big oversight by sony, MS gone to a field day with this and all they have to do is mention xbox one s is the only console to have 4k player. Does the pro even have ext hdd support?

This reeks of laziness, how hard woud it be to least have an option to import your save file.

I wonder what will happen if the Neo doesn't support ext hdds, that's a deal breaker for me.

This is way to late, should've been ready within weeks of launch and now everyones moved on to other games. They should repacked the game and launch again as they got nothing to lose.

Sony don't realise how important ext hdd is, especially if you gone to buy the neo, the ability to transfer your games from the int hdd to ext hdd and plug that straight into the neo will save you from re-installing/downloading the games again especially if you want all digital or like me you have crap internet.

This is gone be interesting to see if it's gone to meet the 15 million sales target to break even as i recall they shelved a new legacy of kain game 'cause it would'nt meet sales target.

They need to support external HDDs, can't underestimate how important this feature is and the ability to take the hdd to a friends house is so good and especially useful if your upgrading to the neo you can then use an ext hdd to transfer your games instead of re-downloading everything again. Why is Sony so slow to implement this feature it boggles the mind.

The announcement of MS Scorpio has put sony on the backfoot, wouldn't be surprised if sony were trying to upgrade the PS4K Neo before release. Also, they need to implement support for EXT HDDs, i cannot stress out how important this feature is. Sony can't delay or word will get out that MS has the cheapest 4K player available and this will hurt sony a lot.

Good luck to the devs but not having the ips, manpower and budget like smash will probably hurt the game as it looks generic then again i could be proven wrong when it's released. Sony is making so much money this gen i'm surprised it hasn't gave PS All Stars another chance for a sequel.

Couldn't sony just patch it within Linux, dunno if it's possible or not but now it's gonna cost them a bit.

My concern is when sony do release the PS5 with a better VR unit and you just brought the Neo with VR, how upset people gonna to be?

The question is how long until we get a situation like Hyrule Legends and we know devs want more power and new tech to play with as i can't imagine sony or MS denying Rockstar to make GTA a Neo/Scorpio exclusive.

@themcnoisy That's the EA way, it sucks though knowing our my beloved Burnout franchise is dead forever. Even a remaster of Legends/Dominator would cheer me up a bit.
