I'm on my third playthrough and all of them have been on Explorer mode. I'm here for the characters and stories.

Having just finished DA Origins, this will seem frustrating in tougher encounters, especially if your Ai controlled companions are hopeless.

I do read the user reviews on the Xbox store to get an overall general idea of a game that I'm debating on buying, so it can work.

I'm currently playing this again as a Drow bard. The amount of race and class specific dialogue for them both is great. I love bullying goblins as a Drow.

@Ravix Aye. I've got a dog who sheds like mad so I'm dreading to see the amount of hair in there when I do open her up. The PS5 of course, not the dog.

I got a 'running hot' message on my PS5 whislt playing BG3 yesterday so I'll be playing in short bursts this weekend.

Where's Max? I don't see her anywhere in those screenshots.

I remember playing AC Valhalla with everything switched off on the HUD including the compass. It looked amazing but I was constantly in and out of the map button to get my bearings.

Can we have California Games instead.

I'm going to buy this on the day of release with my own money and I'm going to bloody well enjoy it.

All 3 Dragon Age games so far have had some great writing and fantastic squad banter (especially DA2) so I'm hoping that Veilguard continues that trend.
I only hope that they bring back the cinematic camera for conversations and not that zoomed out view when talking to npcs like in Inquisition/Andromeda.

Totally agree. Having a voiced protagonist gives them a lot more character. It may give them fewer dialogue options but I personally prefer my (often) created characters to look and sound angry/sympathetic/witty rather than being a mute just flicking through more text responses in a menu.

I'd take the soul survivor from Fallout 4 over the courier from Fallout New Vegas any day.

I really hope that the next Dragon Quest and Persona games feature a voiced protagonist.

I played a durge in my last playthrough but I couldn't keep it up. I felt bad enough after murdering that lovely bard, Alfira.

Exactly the same routine only warmer weather and colder beers.

All of the ploughing scenes will be spot on in the next Witcher.

He had some nice touches and that 95th minute equaliser was superb but most other times he either looked knackered or was on the deck. He is a great player, though.

We get blud magic instead. Ya feel me.

I've just started playing Dragon Age Origins again (it's been a while) and despite it's ageing looks, it's still bloody fantastic.

I haven't played Stellar Blade or Rebirth yet, deep sale buys those two. DD2 and Infinite Wealth are my fave games played this year.

I'm back on DA Inquisition after finishing DA2. The inquisitor isn't a patch on Hawke.

For nudity scenes, I thought that the Sera 'romance' scene in Inquisition was pretty good only because it suited her cheeky character.

The very underrated, Dragon Age 2. I honestly think that female Hawke is one of BioWare's best characters.

Dragon's Dogma 2.

Personally, I think DD2 is sometimes gorgeous to look at. I've stopped a few times whilst playing just to admire the views.

The writing, music, characters, voice acting and audio were all absolute quality in Cyberpunk 2077. I'm really hoping that the sequel is on par if not better but the change of studio has me concerned.

Boosting off sand dunes in the Nomad in ME Andromeda and cursing Terror Demons in Dragon Age Inquisition.

KCD2 and Star Wars Outlaws.

Bought on release for £69.99. Played well over 300 hours across two Arisens with no issues whatsoever. Best game I've played this year.

I started Tales of Arise but couldn't finish it. The characters and story weren't a patch on Berseria, in my opinion.

Hopefully BioWare have finally learned to have decent hairstyles for options. Also hope that it's a much better character creator than ME Andromeda. You had to really dig deep to get the right skin tone to play a caucasian character in that.

The demo, which was the beginning of the game, sold me on it but I feel that the rest of the game never really eclipsed that start. Most of the story and characters were rather forgettable, I thought. I honestly enjoyed XIII more.

Blasting Kett, making planets viable and dropping snarky replies in the rather very decent Mass Effect Andromeda.

@wildcat_kickz I'm actually playing it right now and enjoying it in parts. Some of the dialogue is questionable but I think they've nailed the squad banter when out in the Nomad. I do love my Sara Ryder though, she's such a goofball.

This will live or die on the writing. Mass Effect Andromeda was great to actually play but its shoddy writing was what hurt it.

@Mikey856 I agree. I'd take a voiced protagonist with limited dialogue options and choices than a mute with a bounty of them. Fallout 4's soul survivor over Fallout New Vegas' courier, for example.

I'm looking forward to Star Wars Outlaws the most. I know it didn't get the best preview according to some 'critics' but I just know that I will love it and that's the only opinion that matters.
