Well deserved. I know theres more months in the year left but this is my GOTY so far. Lived up to all my expectations.

I love that! I hope they add some trophies to that mode too and maybe make the bosses more challenging. I will be all over a story dlc in a while as well.

I finished my first playthrough last night. Such an enjoyable ride! Glad I played the game completely blind and spoiler free. Such a good overall experience. Gonna do a thorough guided second run now for the plat. Especially looking forward to finding all the cans because the way Eve picks them up is hilarious.

Also, the game deserve some props for giving me a bug free playthrough. Seriously, nothing, even the camera was on point the whole time. This is such a quality day one release, which I think is pretty rare these days. First time in a long time a game has actually lived up to my hype on all levels.

Thats a shame because the game is so good. At least on my top 3 last year. Cant wait for Control 2 though!

@GilgaMax96 Yeah. I agree and it was my biggest gripe with the game. But 20 hours in I've gotten used to it and it's not that bad.

@ATaco sign me up. The shooting in Stellar Blade works better than I thought it would so its definetly something they could handle.

Well deserved too. The game is awesome. Graphics, combat, music, level design is so good. I'm almost done with my first playthrough and I haven't encountered any bugs either. Even my gf loves watching me play it (this rarely happens).

I know you went for wordplay on Hakuna matata. But knowing that matata is swahili for worries/problems/crazy makes the byline really funny with this in mind.

Wonder if a NIKKE port will happen.

@AllenSnyder you should ignore the culture war and get it anyway if you like action games. It is a really good game and a lot of fun. Especially the boss battles are extremely well done.

What did they change with the cybernetic costume? I unlocked it yesterday and it is too spicy for me as is. Lol.

Eve could be dressed as a nun for all I care. Shes still hot.

My Xbox and Switch will be collecting dust until Im done with Stellar Blade.
My first impressions so far: combat, music, graphics, design and skilltree are phenomenal. I especially love the bossbattles.
Story and VO is fine. Nothing special.
Some of the platforming sequences are annoying but its no dealbreaker.
Im playing completely blind and having a blast. Also love that the game got ng+ where everything carries over. Will be playing Stellar Blade A LOT.

To answer the question. This doesnt matter at all. Played for about an hour after the demo. Game is off to a great start. My only gripe is traversal takes some time getting used to.

Im not playing next gen because I havent finished the original and I dont want two trophy lists. Lol.

I've barely played it on ps4 and I dont want two separate trophy list so I'll stick with the og version. Glad to see it also gets a minor update. What am I saying. All I'll be playing is Stellar Blade.

@SingleStooge some outlets say story is 20hrs, some say 30hrs.

Just read ng+ has been patched in and will be available day 1. Nice! Now all I need is photomode.

Oh yeah! I actually liked the English dubs. My only concern is the finicky platforming. Seems like it will be a mighty good time! I cant wait!!

A more linear game is something I find most welcome.

@J2theEzzo No, I just don't like the combat at all. Even the fights I win are boring to me. I just want to enjoy the exploration, character dynamics and quests. So in this case, yes, chew my pudding.

I would love this feature to skip combat in bg3.

This game is checking all the boxes for me. Friday can't come soon enough.

Series X: Witcher 3, my fifth playthrough or something. Havent played it in years but decided to do another run and take my time with it. Such a great game. I love being back in Velen.

I hope bg3 receives a mod that let combats play out automatically (like in fire emblem) because they are too tedius for me. I completely fell off the game over this.

Storywise no chance. But Stellar Blades gameplay was smooth and the visuals are great.

@B0udoir I dont know how I feel about it. Sometimes I think its really fun. Sometimes not at all. Kind of a weird game in that regards in my book.

Does the ps5 version mean separate trophy list? If so I might not upgrade.

PS5: This week I platted Helldivers 2 and Street Fighter 6. So theres obviously only one thing to do. Play more HD2 and SF6. That is the plan until Stellar Blade comes out.

Sidenote. SF6 might be the best modern fighting game Ive ever played. Its just so smooth. And Ive been having a lot of fun playing Helldivers with friends and strangers. Even had some randoms willing to help me with some coop trophies.

Maybe it would have sold better if SE didnt release Crisis Core and FF16 in between? Also, theres less ps5s than ps4s so that has to be a factor. Personally, I didnt buy it because the demo was boring and not worth the asking price.

Realized that on this entire list I've only played Helldivers 2 and Tekken 8. 2024 is about to be a Stellar year though!!

Dope to see confidence in a new IP. After playing the demo Im sure Stellar Blade will be a fun time.

@The_Pixel_King I have played Helldivers 2 mostly with randoms. It works just fine. Sometimes I end up with a really solid crew and that is just awesome.

Been a great year so far with only more good stuff on the horizon. I think this year might top 2023, at least for me.
