Re: Fallout 4's Next Patch Goes Nuclear on PS4 This Week

BigP

@Bad-MuthaAdebisi 400 hours!? I thought 120 hours was alot!

I'm still playing through my first save with the Minutemen but I plan to start a new one soon on survival with mainly melee weapons, I'll probably keep a hunting rifle and a shotgun handy for when bludgeon someone to death isn't enough and I feel like blowing some heads off haha. Hoping we get DLC with a new area soon but I doubt it will be out anytime soon... It would be cool if there was an area where the nuclear bombs didn't really hit but I don't really know about the lore of the other states in Fallout.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 103

I've really got back into Fifa and it could be because I've been unbeaten online in FUT for 15 games, 13 wins and 2 draws. I gave up on it before after going on a ridiculous loosing streak but I seem to have found the right team and formation for my play style. And I don't know if to go back to my Fallout 4 save and mop up the few things I want to do and get level 50 before I start a new melee character.

Re: Apple's Assembling a Secret Virtual Reality Division

BigP

I'm not sure this will take off like others above me have said already, but... I keep seeing people say that it will take away the social parts of gaming? That's what I want, f*** staying in the normal world. I don't want to talk to people whilst I'm playing a (Mostly solo) game, I want to be fully immersed in the game world however we know that won't happen because we will end up with gimmicky games and the mainstream won't pick it up due to the high price.

Re: Your Free February PlayStation Plus Games for PS4 Have Leaked

BigP

Very happy with Helldivers, I've heard good things about it... But with quite alot of games coming at once and me having to prioritize I would of never got round to buying it. Atleast it's not another one of those sidescrolling indie games that usually look very similar and I know I'll have no interest in at all. I don't know about Nomnom though sounds like the usual? I'm happy with PS plus though you usually get decent value for money by the end of the year and if not I skip a few weeks or so every now and then. Looking forward to Helldivers though.

Re: Life Is Strange's Hella Hawt PS4 Retail Release Is Out Now

BigP

Looks like a nice package and good value, but I really don't think I'd be into this at all... Would be nice if they put a little demo on like Telltales GOT(Always thought I'd hate a Telltale game but I got quite into it) which I ended up buying a second episode for and am really considering buying it all if it's still on sale, what does every body think of GOT over the 6 episodes?

Re: Big Changes Are Coming to The Elder Scrolls Online in 2016

BigP

@SKC_Diamond I haven't played it for a while but It's good if you end up in a decent group at the right time... You can't really affect really much by your self, I recommend playing pvp with a friend that way your odds of winning a fight if you get caught out in the middle of nowhere are greater unless you come up against a over powered player (there are lots of these)you won't even get a hit in. But doing Pve bits in pvp is great. It's much better when you get a group together in pvp because with around 10 decent players you can get a group together and take an isolated fort rather than running with the Zurg and not getting a hit in or doing much. It is good, just much better with a group (Hopefully the text chat will make it easier to communicate and group up).

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 101

BigP

I'm just under 80 hours into Fallout 4 and I can't put it down! I do plan to get round to some ESO but it looks very unlikely with Fallout stuck in my PS4. I was also feeling like jumping into Fifa, Battlefront and Chivalry but I doubt I'll get round to any of them with Fallout in the way...

Re: Big Changes Are Coming to The Elder Scrolls Online in 2016

BigP

@dryrain I'm looking forward to that public justice, I think it makes sense. The amount of times I've accidentally hit the other computer characters in the games and then got out of town and been fine, it will definitely add some extra fun/ immersion if you are being attacked by other players for something you've done wrong.

I can play this for days at a time and then leave it a while and come back and have lots of fun. I know it isn't Skyrim but you can play it like it and I also think it helps that this is an mmo because you can have way more attacks and abilitys on your bar, aswell as the amount of different armour customisations you can have. For people that like ES games I'd still recommend this, you get a great amount of content and if you don't mind an MMO you'll enjoy it, especially the group dungeons.

Re: 23 PS3 Classics Stream to UK PlayStation Now Service

BigP

I think it's good value if you haven't played a fair few of the classics and exclusives like me, but I don't think its something I would sub to every month. Definitely worth a month every now and then if there's a few games your interested in though. I tried the beta and it ran great on my average internet on Lego Batman, so I will get a month or two when I've finished most of my games.

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Story DLC May Still Be Happening

BigP

A little too late as I traded it in... I really enjoyed it and finnished the main story as well as having around 8 or 9 days gameplay time online. It would have to be something decent as I feel like I've played it enough now, it got hard for me to get back into.

Re: PS5 Could Launch as Early as 2019, Reckons Analyst

BigP

They should make it backwards compatible with every single Playstation, that way it starts with more games than ever rather than pushing remastered games out every 5 minutes. Although the I don't mind the odd few like TLOU and Unchartered collection.

Re: Many More PS4 Games Go Cheap in European Sale

BigP

@Hego Yeah luckily its only £4 difference though still worth £ 15 for me I reckon, what do you think of it so far?

@dryrain I think its great fun, if your looking for a medieval battle game like I am you'll enjoy it if you can get past the glitches etc. It's meant to be a bad port from the PC but it still runs pretty well for me... I played it yesterday about 9 hours straight and had a blast but you will die a fair bit and there is certain people with dodgy connections or really good ones and you just get slaughtered by them. The combats pretty simple and you can have some good tactical fights when you end up on your own, it's also really gory and you can slice off all the limbs etc which is really amusing/ satisfying lol. The team objective gamemode is probably the best gamemode, which see's you defending castles, attacking villages etc, there's a nice variety. I'd definitely recommend it for this price if you want a medieval multiplayer game, just it is a bit clunky but there's nothing else like it on PS4.

Re: PS4 Exclusive Horizon: Zero Dawn Doesn't Place Importance on Map Size

BigP

@carlos82 Gta 5 was huge but quite empty on single player. Online has a fair bit to do but the whole point of Gta online freemode was to make your own fun/ storys etc. I much prefer big open worlds where there's big open spaces etc but you can make your own fun/ story with it rather than open world games where you can follow the story and the rest are just fillers.

Re: Your Character Can Now Look Like the Bloke From the Trailers in The Elder Scrolls Online

BigP

@dryrain Yeah, I do think the costumes do look cool especially the lion guard ones. I'm quite happy mixing my armour up, but I am always changing my playstyle/ character styles so for me it wouldn't be worth it. And I usually make my own for the set traits now, so I don't have that problem. But I definitely know what you mean at the start your armour is all different types and never mixes well, so a cool costume is handy for that. I'm just glad there's no pay to win or exclusive armours/weapons in the crown store.

Re: Rumour: Assassin's Creed Sequel Set in Egypt and Skipping 2016

BigP

I'm verry interested for this then... I thought Unity's ideas were great, the first AC that I could actually customise my character(out of the ones I've played) how I wanted. It was great to have an armoured Assassin with a big weapon. The co-op when done with friends was so good when it worked... For example when your just both sneaking through murdering people and you get spotted but the other player jumps out of nowhere and slits his throat, saves the day!Lol. But the game was just a complete mess... If they base it in Egypt and keep what was good about Unity in, it could be a great game.(Cut out the annoying collectibles and make it harder in combat of course)

Re: PSN Down Just Days into 2016

BigP

Luckily I wasn't effected as I was playing single player and I had an early night. But I do see some peoples arguments as valid... Surely when you pay for a online service you expect it as a customer to be up and running ,although in fairness PSN was pretty good last year in terms of stability. But a little bit of knowledge from Sony would be decent customer service, EG:Sorry we are having issues with (whatever it is), we are working to fix this and expect it to be up within ? Hours... Atleast connect with your customers rather than leave them in the dark.

Re: Star Wars Games May Have Made Too Much Money in 2015

BigP

I bought Battlefront, for all the hate it gets it is still really fun gameplay wise and it looks great. And when people moan about lack of maps/ game modes there is a fair few if you like smaller scaled game modes too. Got to say my favourite game mode is heroes vs villains, it's great! (We need more heroes and villains though) I also surprisingly got Star Wars the Force unleashed 2 on my 360 ( had a free voucher for Microsoft, why not?) It's possibly my second favourite Star Wars game after Battlefront 2 gameplay/ story wise. It's so fun! But only 6 hours long which would be terrible for someone that bought it years ago full price so I can see why it got poor ratings but it really is great if you love Star Wars. EDIT: I also went to see the film and bought some Star Wars shirts so Star Wars has definitely made some decent money out off me this year...

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 99

BigP

I've been playing Stronghold 2 on my laptop a lot, mainly holding off NPC armies. Love building my settlement up and making my castle impenetrable, then moving out and slowly making an empire! ( I wish there was a game like this on the PS4) I've also just got Star Wars The Force unleashed 2 on the 360 because I remember playing the first one, the story and combat were great. Its pretty fun tearing up Storm troopers so far! Hoping to pick Chivalry up over the next few days aswell so I can get back to my PS4 and slice some heads off.

Re: Game of the Year: #10 - Destiny: The Taken King (PS4, PS3)

BigP

I liked the game, I picked it up for about £20 I think and it was fun with friends but I got bored of the bountys, everything else was fun but I got to Lvl 30 and traded in for £10. So I basically payed £10 but if I get bored I may get TTK down the line, looks good value now with all DLC.

Re: Tons More Classic PS2 Games Rated for PS4

BigP

I need Star Wars Battlefront 2!!!! But we will never get that will we? Considering I'd play that more than the new one, even though the new Battlefront is really fun gameplay wise if you enjoy most of the modes like me.
