@john_c If I "look at it subjectively" it p*sses me off. Objectively though, it is still a price increase that seems unnecessary - "market conditions" is awfully vague, and seems more like another way of saying "we want more money and here we see an opportunity".

FF has truly been dead since X anyways.. so...

I can see the game blossoming into something much better after some updates and enhancements. As it stands - every world is essentially the same, but with different colors. Yes, scaling an entire planet can be fun, but more variety, and unpredictability would really enhance things. Can you imagine if there were planets where there were cities and other social stratum?

This game looks great, and I will probably get it - but I can't deny myself the view that the art direction rather sucks. It looks blocky, and quite plain. The color palette, from what I have seen, also seems to lack variation. Idk - hopefully once I play it things details will stand out a bit more.

@BranJ0 Exactly. Thing is, I feel like PS will never change this, as I'm sure they prefer taking peoples money for the really "iffy" backgrounds they can charge two bucks for. And yeah - they ALL suck horribly. PS3 is superior in so many ways aside from graphical power.

I've been playing this a lot, and I'm totally hooked. The only real issue I have is that the game is quite buggy sometimes, not allowing you to do things that later you are able to do, or, not showing item descriptions properly in the menu's can be really frustrating. Otherwise, it's tons of fun - just make sure you have a buddy to quest with you, because all alone, you don't stand much of a chance.

Everything looks great about this game except those boring a** characters. I mean seriously, couldn't they come up with something more interesting than a bunch of Japanese clichés of masculinity and style? Horrible. Their hair is almost as stupid as the one guys tattoos. ... Otherwise, yeah, can't wait to play.

I actually prefer the border - it gives it a retro look. However, using an image from the game and not original art is definitely lazy.

THis game is amazing but I'm over remasters - just make a new one in the same aesthetic.

It's a no brainer, and an eventuality... HOWEVER Sony is making the right decision to not get into that business. The PSVR is for gaming as far as anyone understands, and to launch porn on the device would create a PR stir that I am sure Sony has no interest in. ..... That being said, you can be absolutely sure that companies making VR devices for PC will have no problem in cashing in. Personally, I imagine that porn being on your VR headset will be by default of the function of the device - much in the same way that I am able to access Porn through the PS4 web browser.

The Witcher 3 was the first game I bought for the PS4, and returned it after two weeks. For whatever reason it never caught my attention at all, I found the mechanics clunky, and the inventory annoying to work through. I really wanted to like this game.. To each his own I guess.

And I understand everyone's reasons for loving VII, or IX, or X, or whatever - but I have never been able to get past my love of my first FF experience, which was II (or IV) on the SNES. That game changed everything for me, and I have been chasing that experience ever since then, only sometimes coming close.
