My parents bought me my PS1. Although I loved playing games like Winning Eleven, Nascar Rumble and CTR, but I still prefer playing outside with my friends more.

Until one day, my friend lent me his copy (copies?) of Final Fantasy IX. It was the first game that made me pull an all-nighter and a sickie as a kid. Damn, those were the days.

As a ffix fan, i personally wouldn't want the remake trwatment like ffvii. I'm hoping it will be more like tlou part 1. Graphics built from the ground up, but the whole structure of the game is still the same, maybe with a new qol improvement and some fun features like changing costume or whatever

It can actually be quite clever if the characters all speak like in the games but the story/plot can be still understood clearly
