@PeterN80 Maybe but although I have played 3 games in the AC franchise I dont really have any interest in them anymore, I dont want to send ubisoft the message that I will be happy to keep paying for the same recycled content. Yeah Splinter Cell was basically a good chunk of my childhood and I am gutted that it hasn't returned since Blacklist, which was quite good despite Michael Ironside not reprising his role as Sam Fisher. I just dont think Ubisoft caters to gamers like me anymore.
Back in the PS2/360 days Ubisoft were legitimately one of my favorite companies and I always looked forward to their games with the Tom Clancy branding, fast forward to the PS4 era and I really couldn't care less about anything they do, it's quite a fall from grace.
Disappointing sure but really I feel like I would not use the feature at all even if it was available and that is coming from someone who owns 50 plus PS2 games, I have already played all those games countless times I will be getting the PS5 to play new content, which Playstation is always good about delivering on.
I can't really complain about them to be honest, and I say that as someone who rarely even plays the games they give us. The discounts offered by the service are the real benefit to subscribing, the free games are cool but I usually buy what I actually want to play, and those games rarely are put on PS Plus.
I loved Medievil even as a first time player so I am definitely down for more of that type of gameplay, platformers with a creepy/spooky atmosphere are totally my thing!
I understand why they are doing this but the idea of paying for essentially a battle pass for each individual character in a game in which you are paying 60 bucks up front sounds pretty greedy from my point of view. I have little interest in this game, even less than before.
For a game like this local coop is absolutely essential, which is probably why the game was originally designed with that in mind in the first place, I would easily give up online to keep the local coop.
I can't remember the last time I paid full price for a game, with games going on sale so fast nowadays there is little reason to buy day one, especially with the back log I already have, I usually wait until games go down to roughly 50 percent off, which isn't hard to do as I rarely get excited for a new release anymore.
Game prices have been largely untouched for so long that this wouldn't surprise me, I am waiting for Sony to officially comment on the matter before I jump to any conclusions though, 70 bucks will be a tough pill for many to swallow since we have been used to the 60 dollar price point for so long.
Is this game kind of like Mario Maker in which you get plenty of bang for your buck even if you don't intend to mess around with the tools and just want to play stuff?
Lol Spin to Win, love that sub header, when it comes to Activision I take everything they say with a grain of salt, still kind of burned from the whole CTR situation. This new Crash game itself looks solid though.
Maybe it's just me but I don't think the port is all that bad, at least on PS4 Pro, if you want to talk about a bad Sims port look no further than the Sims 2 on PS2, that game had some real stutter. I find the Sims 4 more than playable, the interface is easy enough to navigate once you get used to it but again, I am used to playing the console Sims games.
Although I personally don't have much of an interest in Silent Hill as I am not too into horror games I would definitely like the series to return, although with the Konami we are all familiar with today you have to wonder what form a new game would take, and if it is even something we want to happen.
It's pretty sad when not having microtransactions is an achievement and something to be celebrated. This should be standard other than free to play games.
It would be incredible if that was the case but I am not paying any attention to any rumors at all until Sony has their own event, I want to hear it straight from the horses mouth.
Next time the pack of Shenmue 1 and 2 is on sale again I am probably going to pick it up, never played them and I am a fan of unique older Sega games, from what I have read of them over the years I would likely love them.
I am curious as to what they could base the new games on, as a fan of the series I will likely play most of what they put out assuming it isn't a mobile game, I didn't think KH3 was as disappointing as alot of other people did. Was it as good as 1 or 2? No not at all but it wasn't by any means a bad game, it was just too easy, but they have added in more difficulties now.
It is so refreshing to hear that a studio has not had to resort to crunch to push games out, I have way more respect for companies that don't force their employees to work ridiculous hours, they treat their employees like people and not tools to be used until they break.
Such a great lineup, I played Arkham Knight on Xbox One when I first got the system and am looking forward to enjoying it again on PS4 all these years later.
If they would cut the cost of playstation now down to where it is more similarly priced to Game Pass I would probably pick it up, the selection is really solid
I am more than ok with this myself, as it will give it a very different feel compared to their past games, they have already proven they make amazing games so I don't see why this one won't be amazing too
I definitely think matchmaking needs improved, almost every single race there is a single person who is 30 seconds ahead of the next closest person, I am not taking away from their skill but I kind of like having a chance to win too, a new player getting pummeled like that would probably put them off from the online.
Can't argue with that logic when you look at the sales, I have yet to play the new Monster Hunter game despite putting hundreds of hours into the games on Wii and 3DS, I really need to fix that especially with the new Expansion coming up, the game is really calling my name.
Wow that is actually pretty cool, I will definitely be revving my engines come July 3rd! Though I am just ok at the game compared to some of the people I have seen online, still practice makes perfect!
Yeah I am probably going to have to pick up a terabyte portable harddrive sooner rather than later so I don't have to keep deleting games to make room for games like this. I am sure the game will be worth it though.
Horizon Chase Turbo is great for me really, though I couldn't care less about soccer so that really isn't a game I am even slightly interested in playing. The thing is I still haven't played games that I have received from Plus even a year ago as I just don't have the time so not getting must play games every month doesn't concern me. The sales more than make up for it.
The game is gorgeous, and I always planned on getting in for the Switch but seeing as I am getting it free now I will totally play this on PS4. Looks like such a great game.
Not surprised, I played it on Xbox via the early access trial a while back and while I did like the concept, the gameplay itself got old for me really fast, which is a shame is it has a nice Bioshock feel to it when you first start playing.

Re: Tencent Tables $1.3 Billion Takeover of Sackboy Dev Sumo Digital
I didn't realize they were worth 1.5 billion, at least when compared to the price Sony paid for Insomniac.
Re: PS Plus February 2021 PS5, PS4 Games Announced
That is a really good lineup! I have been wanting to play concrete genie for ages.

That is a killer list! Although I have no interest in Middle Earth the other two are awesome.

I recently subscribed to PS Now and am currently playing through Sly 4 Thieves in Time, hopefully I can finish it up this weekend.
Re: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake Confirmed for PS4, Coming January 2021
@ArcadeHeroes I actually think it looks pretty good too, I think people forget how PS2 games looked back then, this is a big upgrade in my book.

Re: Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Has Optional 60FPS Mode on PS5
60 fps is always nice to have in games, graphics don't really matter compared to the smoothness that a high framerate can provide.

Re: PS Plus September 2020 PS4 Games Announced
This is actually a pretty decent lineup, may give PUBG a go if I am bored, although I am not too interested in Street Fighter 5.

Re: EA Access Finally Finds a Home on PS4 from 24th July
