Re: Hands On: The Watch Dogs Legion Gimmick Can't Hide Tired Gameplay

@PeterN80 Maybe but although I have played 3 games in the AC franchise I dont really have any interest in them anymore, I dont want to send ubisoft the message that I will be happy to keep paying for the same recycled content. Yeah Splinter Cell was basically a good chunk of my childhood and I am gutted that it hasn't returned since Blacklist, which was quite good despite Michael Ironside not reprising his role as Sam Fisher. I just dont think Ubisoft caters to gamers like me anymore.

Re: PS5 Won't Play PS3, PS2, or PS1 Games

Dpishere

Disappointing sure but really I feel like I would not use the feature at all even if it was available and that is coming from someone who owns 50 plus PS2 games, I have already played all those games countless times I will be getting the PS5 to play new content, which Playstation is always good about delivering on.

Re: Poll: Are You Happy With You PS Plus Games for September 2020?

Dpishere

I can't really complain about them to be honest, and I say that as someone who rarely even plays the games they give us. The discounts offered by the service are the real benefit to subscribing, the free games are cool but I usually buy what I actually want to play, and those games rarely are put on PS Plus.

Re: Poll: Would You Pay $70 for a Brand New PS5 Game?

Dpishere

I can't remember the last time I paid full price for a game, with games going on sale so fast nowadays there is little reason to buy day one, especially with the back log I already have, I usually wait until games go down to roughly 50 percent off, which isn't hard to do as I rarely get excited for a new release anymore.

Re: PS5 Games Could Cost $10 More Than PS4

Dpishere

Game prices have been largely untouched for so long that this wouldn't surprise me, I am waiting for Sony to officially comment on the matter before I jump to any conclusions though, 70 bucks will be a tough pill for many to swallow since we have been used to the 60 dollar price point for so long.

Re: Soapbox: The Sims 4 Is a Travesty on PS4

Dpishere

Maybe it's just me but I don't think the port is all that bad, at least on PS4 Pro, if you want to talk about a bad Sims port look no further than the Sims 2 on PS2, that game had some real stutter. I find the Sims 4 more than playable, the interface is easy enough to navigate once you get used to it but again, I am used to playing the console Sims games.

Re: Konami Confirms a New Silent Hill Game Is Being Considered

Dpishere

Although I personally don't have much of an interest in Silent Hill as I am not too into horror games I would definitely like the series to return, although with the Konami we are all familiar with today you have to wonder what form a new game would take, and if it is even something we want to happen.

Re: Multiple Kingdom Hearts Games Now in Development, One 'Coming Surprisingly Soon'

Dpishere

I am curious as to what they could base the new games on, as a fan of the series I will likely play most of what they put out assuming it isn't a mobile game, I didn't think KH3 was as disappointing as alot of other people did. Was it as good as 1 or 2? No not at all but it wasn't by any means a bad game, it was just too easy, but they have added in more difficulties now.

Re: Random: Don't Worry, Everything Is Fine at Media Molecule

It is so refreshing to hear that a studio has not had to resort to crunch to push games out, I have way more respect for companies that don't force their employees to work ridiculous hours, they treat their employees like people and not tools to be used until they break.

Re: Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Games for July 2019?

Dpishere

Horizon Chase Turbo is great for me really, though I couldn't care less about soccer so that really isn't a game I am even slightly interested in playing. The thing is I still haven't played games that I have received from Plus even a year ago as I just don't have the time so not getting must play games every month doesn't concern me. The sales more than make up for it.

Re: Round Up: We Happy Few PS4 Reviews Aren't Smiling

Dpishere

Not surprised, I played it on Xbox via the early access trial a while back and while I did like the concept, the gameplay itself got old for me really fast, which is a shame is it has a nice Bioshock feel to it when you first start playing.
