@Flaming_Kaiser Oh it doesn't have to be exclusive, I just can't see them making a version for both systems without the Switch version holding back the PS4 one. One built specifically for Switch is ideal I think.

Monster Hunter always did well enough on Nintendo hardware and they should definitely still release a exclusive game on the Switch but you can hardly argue with the huge success of World on PS4 and Xbox One, despite being a huge fan of the franchise I haven't yet played World but I am excited to see how it plays and looks on my PS4 Pro.

They should have been using this approach all along, clearly it has paid off because most of their games recently have been great sellers amd quality titles too, gamers pay for quality, you can't underestimate positive reception and word of mouth.

This game just looks so good, for me there is no more iconic jrpg series than Dragon Quest, started playing at VIII and fell in love with it despite not enjoying turn based rpgs at all at the time, that game changed my mind about them. XI is looking to be an excellent evolution for the series.

Like others I would gladly take a remastered collection of the Mass Effect trilogy, those are games that should be first in line for that treatment.

I keep going back and forth in my mind as to whether I would get this game first or DQ 11, I am a big fan of both types of games so I guess it is down to how each of them review, I will definitely be getting both eventually though.

I already have this game coming physically from Best Buy on launch day, so looking forward to it. Metroidvania plus Roguelite is my type of game!

Nothing I am super interested, I still have a ton of older games to catch back up on like the games that were released as PlayStation Hits so it will be awhile before I buy anything and if I do I find myself buying physically more and more lately, even if it costs a little bit extra.

Resident Evil 4 gameplay taking place in Raccoon City sounds like heaven. Like many people that one is my favorite in the series.

This was one of the few genuine surprises for me from this year's E3, and it only serves to remind me how much I need to play the first game.

Out of all the presentations I have to say that Sony's was my favorite, though Microsoft and Nintendo had a good showing, not great but good, assuming you like Smash in Nintendo's case. The amount of pure quality games Sony has coming is astounding.

Awesome I am so glad that this game turned out to be great, I will definitely be picking this up in the future, as a Jurassic Park fan how couldn't I?

@Miles_Edgeworth I went last year and it was an awesome time, one I won't soon forget, I am definitely going back in the future.

@Undead21 I don't exclusively use reviews to judge whether I want a game but the reality is that there are far too many excellent games out there for me to spend my money on games that are just ok, reviews are useful because I am not rich and need to choose what I buy carefully.

Dang I thought this one actually looked pretty cool, it seems everything about the game is just average and there are way too many amazing games to settle for just that.

It was my first Souls-like game and even then I could tell it had its faults I did appreciate the more focused story. The framerate was awful though, and as a result the gameplay didn't feel very tight.

Ghost is the one I want to see more info on the most because after playing Infamous Second Son and loving it I am eager to see what they can do with Samurai and Ninjas. This reminds me that we really need another Tenchu game.

If you have been to the events like myself you know why they should continue, they are a celebration for gamers unlike any other.

Closest one is Chicago, a solid 3 to 4 hours away. I think I will just watch it at home with my theater set-up.

Like others have already said if they had brought PUBG to PS4 first instead of Xbox they wouldn't be in this predicament but they didn't. Now H1Z1 has filled the tactical gameplay role nicely.

I am not sure how much they can improve but I am glad they are up to the challenge!

Still disappointed we aren't getting this collection on the Switch, the Sega Ages Collection doesn't look as impressive based on what we know so far. I would buy this for the Switch in an instant as it is my preferred platform for retro games.

Nintendo have always had the handheld market locked down with the exception of the PSP and even then Nintendo dominated so I really feel like Sony should just focus on what they are the best at, and that's making compelling home consoles. I don't see why they should stray from what has made them the kings of this generation thus far.

It's a weekend of H1Z1 and Infamous Second Son for me! Both games are alot of fun!

I like this game alot more than Fortnite mainly because I just don't like the whole building aspect of the game. This one is more tactical and realistic and as a fan of games like Rainbow Six the game is so much more fun for me. I will be playing this as my go-to for Battle Royale gameplay, I hope they release another map like PUBG is on Xbox One, then it would be perfect. That being said I like the map that is there enough but more variety is always nice!

I did download the beta and have had a go at a few rounds, as far as battle Royale games go it checks all the boxes and I find it to be alot more polished than PUBG is on Xbox One. I will continue playing it this weekend, the question is whether this game will be supported in the future as well as both PUBG and Fortnite are.

Crash and Sephiroth were my two choices.

@thegametb Hmm you may be right, I checked Best Buy and when I check the price for a game the discount doesn't seem to be applied, if they deactivated it already then Best Buy has probably lost a customer in me other than when games go on sale really cheap.

These sales are pretty solid but there isn't anything in there that I am truly tempted to get.

This is pretty disappointing for me, I know I for one will be buying less games at launch, (I already rarely do) and instead will be just waiting for them to go on sale super cheap. I will be taking advantage of this while I still can though.

I actually really like the look of this game, I enjoyed Mad Max quite a bit and this essentially looks like a first person shooter version of that. The similarities to the art styles and design of the characters is pretty striking which makes sense since Avalanche is developing it with ID.

Hmm I do like the art style quite a bit, maybe I will wait for a sale since I already have plenty to play at the moment, I do love a good beat em up though.

I wasn't aware that Sucker Punch was behind this game. Sucker Punch + Samurai sounds like an excellent game to me, they were one of my favorite developers back in the PS2 days.

I have watched my brother play quite a bit of this game and this game isn't as roguelike as some of the other games like Enter the Gungeon. There is generally a path that you take through the levels but the enemy layout and weapons you get may differ. Plus it is a bit more punishing too, it's one of the few games he regretted getting.

Well deserved too judging by the large amount of good reception the game has had. When it comes to exclusives Sony more often than not know how to make a quality experience, they are are right up there with Nintendo.

I am sure we will all be well and truly sick of Battle Royale by the time all the big publishers have had their fill, then it will be time to move onto the next big fad.

I have been interested in this game since it was shown at the Xbox Press Conference a long time ago, I would much rather have it on PS4 since that is where I do the majority of my gaming nowadays.

I thought this game looked pretty good when it was first shown but I had no idea that it would be this well received. It did contribute to me getting a PS4 though and when I have cleared out my backlog I will definitely be diving in to this one to see what all the fuss is about!

I don't have too much confidence in Bioware in this day and that is kind of sad considering they used to be the developer that I could always turn to for quality rpgs with deep stories and characters. This game could be good but ever since Mass Effect 2, though 3 was pretty good, I feel like Bioware isn't the same and I will be carefully optimistic about this one. If the game can be played and enjoyed completely by myself I will be more into it as I don't like games that force you to play with other players, the game world and story just feels more shallow when they do that.

@ToddlerNaruto I couldn't say as I never played Metal Gear Solid 4 or Revengance, if you didn't enjoy 3 in particular those are unlikely to change your mind though. Snake Eater is one of the best ones.

This weekend I am continuing my play through of Metal Gear Solid 5, thanks to the current flash sale I have managed to snag Darkest Dungeon and the Last of Us remastered as well so I look forward to playing those.

@David187 You are thinking of Irrational which made the first game and Infinite, Marin is still up and running since they are owned by 2K

I assumed this was the case a long time ago, I am actually surprised we haven't heard more about it by now. 2k Marin is supposedly behind it and they made the equally excellent Bioshock 2 so I trust them to make a good game.

And that is perfectly fine with me though I imagine people who have had a PS4 since launch are ready to move on. I do hope PS4 is forwards compatible with the games on PS5 like the Xbox Two is supposed to be, that would be the smart move for those that don't want to upgrade and I mean besides frame rates amd resolution how much better can graphic fidelity get anyway. We are never going to see a leap like PS1 to PS2 to PS3 ever again so I don't think upgrading instantly is all that important.

This weekend it is more Metal Gear Solid 5 on PS4 and Slime San on Switch, it is an excellent little platformer and it shows that the team put lots of love into it with all the polish and extra touches.

Wow, three games I actually want all coming out in the same month...
My bank balance is going to take a beating.

Wow if it looks like that then I will be pretty pleased, it is colorful and fun just like the originals.
