After all this teasing I think there is going to be a huge amount of disappointment if the rumor ends up not being true. At this point I think it is pretty safe to say that all we are waiting on now is for them to make it official.
Oh man, Dragon Quest 11 or Spiderman for my birthday, now that's a tough choice... I am leaning towards Spiderman because I haven't played a game in that series in a long time.
As a recent PS4 owner I know I won't be getting a PS5 for at least a year or two into its lifespan, that way I avoid what is sure to be a launch year full of remasters of games I will likely be able to get on PS4 super cheap. By then it will have built up a decent library and the early bugs that seem to be fairly common with launch systems will have been worked out. I think it is plausible that it could be released in 2019, I don't see it releasing this year and that is okay with me.
A Spiderman game where you can use stealth sounds right up my alley, I dont care if it is just the Batman Arkham series with Spiderman as the hero, I want it! I loved the Spiderman game on the N64 way back when and more recently Shattered Dimensions, with the Noir Spiderman being my favorite so stealthy Spiderman is exactly what I am looking for.
I never played the first Dark Souls and as a fan of the later two games I will definitely be picking this up to see where it all started, aside from Demon's Souls.
Is this supposedly a remake of just the first game? If so that is kind of disappointing after the brilliant Crash N'sane Trilogy, I hope Spyro gets the same level of love because I have yet to play any of them and having a collection like Crash got would be amazing.
Just finished Ratchet and Clank so now I decided to take advantage of the PlayStation sale and get Metal Gear Solid 5 for a tenner, the game is excellent so far. I have found myself addicted.
@get2sammyb I absolutely agree. For me, other than Ratchet and Clank and Bloodborne I rarely get games that I actually want to play from PS Plus or Games With Gold, the real value is the incredible discounts. Getting amazing games for sometimes less than ten bucks is awesome.
Mad Max is a good game, I 100%ed on the Xbox One but for those attempting the same be warned as it can get quite repetitious, especially disarming the mines.
@FoxyGlen Yes Bethesda has been one of my favorite developers since Morrowind, in my mind they can't make a bad game. Too bad we most likely won't get a new Elder Scrolls for another couple years because I think most people are ready to move on from Skyrim, and that game was released way back in 2011. Either way hopefully they have something cool to be excited for this year.
This is my problem with most Ubisoft games in general, sure they aren't bad by any means but most of them usually boil down to completing everything on the map to progress and after so many games with that type of gameplay it does start to feel tired, hence why I haven't bought a game of theirs in several years. If a new Splinter Cell is announced this year at E3 like the rumors suggest that will likely change, I love that series.
When it comes to EA nowadays I am always extra cautious, even if the idea of an open world Star Wars game sounds right up my alley. As long as there isn't lootboxes like Shadow of War had and the game is generally good consider me interested at least.
After finishing both Kingdom Hearts 1 and Firewatch I have decided to revisit Psychonauts on PS4 and have been instantly reminded of how much I love that game, despite the port's technical shortcomings. So happy we are getting a sequel!
You know when developers put this much effort into a game that it is going to be good. I look forward to playing it, though I have to play catch up with all the past PS4 titles so I am not sure when that will be!
I have never played a God of War game but based on gameplay I have seen I think I prefer the combat in this game compared to the older entries, at least based on purely footage. I like slower but harder hitting combat.
I am so glad this game turned out so well, I never played the original due to not owning a PlayStation since the PS2 but I know for a fact I will be picking this one up, action rpgs, especially from Level 5 are some of my favorite.
I haven't been into Call of Duty since Modern Warfare 1 so I think I will pass on this, for some reason I always felt like the perks/killstreaks in this version of the game were a bit unbalanced.
It is great that they are trying to right their wrongs and this should make the game immensely more enjoyable for those people who have stuck around with the game. Perhaps someday I will get it when it goes below ten bucks like the first game because I did enjoy the beta, just not the progression system.
I just got a PS4 a few days ago and I have been enjoying playing through the Kingdom Hearts collection as my first game. I also bought a ton of stuff due to the currently ongoing sale so I am set for the foreseeable future.
