Free to play and EA is a bad combination, but if it is only cosmetic stuff I guess it wouldn't be too bad.

I am trying to keep my expectations in check because rewards programs are rarely super generous but it is free so anything on top of just having fun playing games is a bonus imo.

Awesome I will sign up because why not? I am already invested in the PlayStation Ecosystem so I may as well earn rewards as well.

Personally I don't care at all for Ubisoft games so this wouldn't do much for me, Stray is definitely the highlight of that bunch imo so hopefully more games that aren't Ubisoft are added.

I watched a Let's Play of this game but stopped before it got too in depth because this game looks absolutely fascinating, can't wait to play it when it comes to PS5, especially with that DualSense support.

Excellent, loved The Messenger and would love to play another game from that developer, especially as this one is set in the same universe as The Messenger with it being a prequel.

I know I will be playing it later this year, my girlfriend wouldn't let me live it down if I didn't, she is a mega Harry Potter fan.

I am always connected to the internet anyway so this doesn't really affect me but it is nice to know you can sort of play them offline.

@Would_you_kindly Yeah nowadays companies are more interested in remaking their games or making their own collection so series like those are up in the air in terms of whether they will be on the service. Would definitely be nice though.

4 bucks to buy the game itself is very fair for a PS1 game, much cheaper than I was expecting.

This is good news for consumers but yeah this is definitely going to irritate some developers, but that is their problem to worry about.

It's a shame that this was delayed as I bought the PS4 version specifically hoping for the free upgrade to the PS5, whenever it does finally release I will be checking out, I want to play it in its full glory.

I am actually really happy with this month, Slay the Spire and SpongeBob are great ones and ones I also don't have yet!

Honestly this may be correct, it is legitimately an amazing controller, it is the most comfortable I have used. The Switch Pro controller is up there too for me.

Seems like a pretty sizable update! I have currently been loving the OS as it is but these added features are a nice bonus.

I understand people are upset and rightly so but there has to be a better way to handle this than just review bombing.

It's a sad time for video games when a game confirming that it doesn't have micro transactions is considered a huge plus, but this is still nice to see nonetheless.

This is getting kind of crazy, it's been 24 hours we still haven't heard a thing and when this game costs 70 bucks that's kind of unacceptable. I was actually interested in this game at first because from what I've heard it's really good but with all these network issues I'm not sure I want to buy it anymore.

I just watched the full gameplay trailer with my girlfriend, this looks like the Harry Potter game we always wanted, it looks so good.

Remind me again why this game is better off being an online only title, because stuff like this hasn't convinced me.

Got the first Ty the Tasmanian Tiger game on sale and it looks so crisp on PS5, sometimes it is nice to play a simpler game like this, love myself some 3D platformers.

I really wish we would get a Simpsons Hit and Run remaster for all platforms, as a newer watcher of the series I would love to be able to freely explore Springfield in a game, and I say that as someone who never played it way back when.

I would rather just have a remastered trilogy release like we got with Mass Effect, I am not sure this game even needed remade.

I really wish we would get a new Sly Cooper, it is legitimately my favorite PlayStation series, I love all of the games.

I think the quality of Nintendo Directs have raised the bar of what people expect from presentations like this but just by looking at the announcements in this article, it doesn't seem to me like it was that bad in terms of the amount of stuff, it just didn't have stuff most people wanted.

I think Michael Ancel retiring didn't help anything, I feel like he was the major creative force behind the game and without him the team probably had little guidance. I am almost convinced this game is vaporware, I wish they would have just scaled it back and made it simpler, like the first game instead of getting too ambitious because if they did that the game possibly could have been released a long time ago.

Not interested in live services, they can keep them.

This generation is quickly becoming my least favorite, between the acquisitions by Microsoft and Sony it feels like this generation is all about buying talent instead of cultivating it.

I wonder what their plans are for the studio, just more destiny or something bigger in mind? Maybe a Killzone? Seeing as Bungie are great at making guns feel good and play well that could be a good project for them

@Shepherd_Tallon That is a positive way to look at it, with Sony being backed into a corner they will have no choice but to be more friendly towards consumers, which definitely is a good thing. I like the idea of PlayStation becoming more of a unique ecosystem without the Activision games being a focus of players as this could give Sony more of its own unique identity.

@mucc Absolutely agree, this buyout, whether you game on Xbox or PlayStation makes the future of gaming look very bleak if you look at the big picture.

I have never played a Twisted Metal game but they always seemed like the kind of games I would enjoy, if this is real I will likely end up checking it out, I bet it looks stunning on PS5.

This would be pretty cool if combining both would mean a bundled discount. I definitely think they should keep the PS plus subscription because I have little interest in a yearly game pass type service unless it really delivers, that is where Microsoft disappointed me, you can't pay just 60 bucks for the yearly gold anymore.

If done right this could be so good, love LOTR and a stealth game set in that universe sounds right up my alley.

Those are a ton of fixes, couple more updates like that and the collection could be worth playing, at a discount of course.

Tempted to buy it on PS4 just so I can take advantage of the free upgrade when it arrives on PS5

I just managed to get a PS5 today with the intent of someday playing these games when they get patched up, hope that is sooner rather than later because I want to experience them in 60 fps glory, as it should be.

If done right this could be very cool, I like the movies and this could translate well into a videogame.

I virtually never play the PS plus games so no big deal for me.

Currently playing through Control, it's a great time exploring the Old Building.

Been playing Control alot recently and with how much I am liking this one there is a high chance I will check this game out since it is from the same developers, Alan Wake always looked so interesting to me, just never got around to playing it.

As much I like the notion of it being a console exclusive it feels odd to me, when I think KOTOR I think PC and Xbox, not PlayStation but again I am not complaining about the situation.

This game is probably a really long way off and may be of the minority but the original game is still so good I don't think there is need for a remake, have to wonder if this will still be an actual rpg or more of an action oriented rpg, either way I do love KOTOR so I will keep an eye on it.

I suppose there is an upside in having to wait to get a PS5 seeing as they are still difficult to get, by the time I can easily get one I hope it is the best version with all the kinks ironed out.

When I think Alien as a video game franchise I don't really thing of a co-op shootemup. Would rather a sequel to Isolation and I am sure I am not alone in that.

Yet again disappointed, but I have been done with Ubisoft for a very long time so nothing really changes.
