I spent nearly 100 hours getting the platinum, but in the end, it became less of strategy and more of using the best armor and weapon and overpowering everything in the last third.

I am not sure if there is a game plus mode or if I have to start fresh for the update?

So, I am conflicted if it warrants a revisit.

I loved MK9 and the story mode.
I am a bit hesitant about playing this first or Street Fighter 6 as I usually play one fighting game in a year.

@Gooseman42 you buy, you enjoy then double dip when the VR update comes.

@PixelDragon Yesterday, I found the first and second one on my Switch, and I must have bought them on sale.

My question is, would you recommend playing them before 3? Are they worth the time investment?

Very good compared to past iterations.

I am interested but not sure which game to start with. I never played any of them and want to play something different from the typical JRPG.

@johnny30 they hooked you for 10 years making you pay and play, So it is not far fetched they have the numbers the prove they can hook a number of players on the game loop and be profitable for a few years.
I hope you don't get my comment the wrong way, but it is clear there is a target players for this type of games.
I am genuinely curious if you don't mind, how you not get bored of playing a game for almost 10 years even if you played on/off?
