Re: Soapbox: After the Vita's Failure, Why Do People Now Want Console Games on the Go?

Frank90

I don't know, but I was on the side that the vita and the whole idea was bad (even owing a vita). But after the Switch I did start to think that the problem is the Vita itself, which isn't a good handheld at all.
The controllers suck, the screen isn't good enough, the expensive memory cards, and the games in general were unappealing to the masses. So the problem wasn't the concept but Sony take on it.

"there’s some social media speculation suggesting review code may be balanced differently" while I think that is hard to believe, if any company would do that would be EA.

Also, guys please stop bashing PushSquare staff, if they are on youtube with much more aggressive opinion everyone would be fine.

So please stop being such whiny dudes.

Re: EA Pondering Subscription-Based Services Instead of Traditional Game Releases

Frank90

Nope. Netflix and crunchyroll are the only ones that I pay, because of the vast content and are among the oldest the first.
HBO GO, FOX+ anything related to only one studio (even Disney) or EA etc etc I'll skip or pay a month than cancel.
Also the internet around the world still not fast enough.
This was the future 5 years ago, now it's just a dumb dated idea.

Re: God of War Director Speaks Out in Defence of Single Player Games

Frank90

There are exceptions but to me the general rule is: Linear single player >> Open World single player >> single player + MP (MP as a complement) >> MP + SP (mp being the major part) >> MP only.

Probably my buying proportion is 9 to 1 with sp being the 9.
So if SP stop to exist I will find another hobby.

Re: Soapbox: Open World OCD - How Too Much Content Can Ruin a Game

Frank90

Could not agree more, I can't stand open world anymore.
The Witcher 3 is the game of the generation, so it was an exception. But to me more linear nowdays is better.
Just look at persona 5, FFXII Zodiac age or even a musou game, it's was direct to the point. You can do side stuff, but the point of the game is in your face!

I could not even finish Zelda Breath of the Wild.

Re: Feature: The PlayStation Store's Content Problem

Frank90

Let's be honest, PSN is slow, ugly, confuse.
Sometimes I want to buy something but give up, just because how truncated is.
When you search for a game, does appear everything, tons of dlc and sometimes it's above the main game, because of alphabetical order! come on!
