I remember buying the double box edition with a demo disc inside it, (can't remember the demo). A timeless classic. I would love a remaster of the original 5 games from the PSone in a single box. Similar to what Rockstar just did with GTA.
I've been meaning to replay Angel of Darkness. I don't know why it wasn't very well received. I never finished it on PS2. I will revisit at some point.
Well it's been a good run for the last 27 years Sony but here we are. PlayStation consoles are no longer special. The one thing that set them apart was exclusives.
I'm glad I haven't yet bought many games on PS5 due to my backlog. That's just means I now don't have to because if 2 or so years is all I have to wait at present for the best version then so be it.
You expect me to pay £70 plus an online fee to play the worst version of your games?
The writing is on the wall and day and date games are inevitable.
This will not sell PS5's for the new installment as now it's clear future games will be ported regardless where that wasn't apparent before.
Since you seem intent on treating loyal console owners who have stuck with you since day one of the PSone as second class then so will I.
The PS5 is going in the cupboard and a new PC will take its place. And as many PC players do, I'll be playing all of the best versions of your games for free.
Bought this game for less than £20 about 3 years ago and it is definitely underrated. I loaned it to my friends and they all loved it too. I hope we get a sequel some day. I wonder how successful it ended up being?
While I support Sony on the first 'infringement' if there is indeed a filed or pending patent I believe this time they wouldn't have grounds to sue, the design is an entirely different shape.
I don't mind the look but feel it will have problems. From an air flow perspective the 'collars' of the original are designed in a way to move heat further from the system. When the heat/air hits the collar the curve of the shell will push the heat away, this design will not do that.
Furthermore, with the exhaust position, this would likely be a problem for people who place their console horizontal. The gap that the stand creates wouldn't be sufficient enough to dissipate all of the heat which would cause a build up and possible overheating.
Personally I'm keeping mine original and will trade it in for a slim when they eventually come.
For those who called Sony out for their threat, have you considered that the reason is due to the possibility that they intend to eventually release their own and don't want a third party to eat at their profits? Perfectly reasonable. And the 'car' comments make no sense. General car parts are not patented.
There were a number of things that could have made the PSVita a huge success.
1. As many have said mSD memory cards, why couldn't they use them like everyone else. Cheap to replace and as fast as the Sony proprietary cards.
2. Invest in more first party IP's. Seriously they have so many amazing IP's, use them.
3. PSone and PSP games. Yes, they were there but a very limited selection. Licence Dino Crisis, the Spider-Man games, Ready 2 Rumble, Nightmare Creatures, OddWorld. and where was Metal Gear Acid? They had legendary titles.
4. And finally L2/R2 buttons. Yes, there was a rear touchpad but it was so difficult to use and, for me atleast, hit and miss. If the Switch Lite can have rear buttons on a system similar in form factor the Vita could have too. It would have made PS Remote Play much easier and a bigger selling point.
The PSVita could have been a massive success I believe with these features.
And I was starting to think Sony had forgotten PSNow exists like they did with the PSVita. This thing has so much potential to be a rival to GamePass but they just don't give it a second thought half the time.
They could use it to add PlayStation exclusives across PS3,4 and eventually 5 without natively putting them on Steam and thus PC players would have no choice to subscribe in order to play PlayStation games in turn increasing Sony's monthly income. They could even add some PS1 and 2 classics as an answer to backwards compatibility.
I think the numbers would rise so fast given how people want BC and PC players practically beg for PS exclusives.
I'd rather they disable trophies for this. If I choose not to buy the game for whatever reason I'm stuck with incomplete trophies, my OCD will prevent me from doing it which I wouldn't mind trying Death Stranding out.
I still play my PS3. It was hooked up all through the PS4 generation and is still sat next to my PS5.
I even still buy games for it in second hand shops that still have them. Can you believe I picked up Mercenaries 2 recently for 75p, crazy.
I'd still like to play my games online for the trophies but most of them have shut down. Two recent ones I've tried are, Overlord 2 and Mercenaries 2 of course.
@sanderson72
Yeah, he's said and done a lot of things I don't agree with and for the most part I feel PlayStation is not doing as well under his leadership at present. In addition to what you've said, the upgrade fee fiasco and 'directors cuts' when they could simply release patch for 60fps upgrades is unacceptable. I can afford the games and upgrades but that's not the point.
As for emulation source code, the team behind PCSX2 have been working on emulation for years, why not just compensate them to acquire the work they have done and implement that in the console? Or better yet, hire them officially to work on one for PlayStation.
In any case I'm sure the console source code and bios can be directly acquired from an actual PS2, and there are tonnes of them in second hand shops.
If they really wanted to do it they would find a way, and as you said Jim has done a lot of backtracking so hopefully one day he'll change his mind on BC.
During the last showcase when he said "at PlayStation, we respect our legacy." I simply blurted out "if you did we would have backwards compatibility!"
I know PS3 is pretty much out of the question but the PS5 is powerful enough to emulate and slightly upscale PS1 and PS2 games.
I have a PS2/3/4/5 so sure I can play old games but it would be nice to have it under one hood.
And if compatibility is what you're worried about either maybe have a small team work on and improve an emulator or simply release one and state "compatibility is not 100% guaranteed with every game." You'll have some who will call you names but most would be appreciative for its existence.
This would win Jim a lot of browny points with folk who do not think highly of him at this point in time. I know I would respect him more.
In one final note this is one thing I respect about Xbox, their backwards compatibility may not be full or complete, nor perfect but atleast it's there.
My option isn't there. Waiting for the physical version. Releasing the game digital first is probably to entice impatient people into going digital by default. I'm still not on board with digital and as long as a physical counterpart for any game exists that's what I'll buy.
@Amppari
Again, show me actual written confirmation proof that it's coming to Xbox? You don't know that it is. Find me any game where Phil Spencer stated "Console Exclusive'" that came to anything other than Xbox and PC and this was the exact word used in the teaser.
Yeah, the PlayStation blog said "Launch" and yet they're the only ones that did. Even during an interview with one of the developers he wouldn't say outright that it's coming to Xbox. He just said "It's coming to PS5 and PC.
And now you're getting aggressive by using a word like "dumb"? Just because I'm making an observation based on the wording used and connecting that to past evidence?
Again. I'll only believe it when official confirmation states that it's coming to Xbox. Bacause as it stands, going off everything we know so far it doesn't look like it is. And without proof you can't argue against that.
@Amppari It's not a narrative. Where is the confirmation that it's coming to Xbox? Where is the confirmation that it launches on PC the same day as PS5? why did the teaser state "Remade for PS5" and not just "Remake"? Why use the word "Console-Exclusive" when that has always meant one console and PC?
Why would Sony (as reported by IGN) part-fund development and allow several of their own developers help make the game if it's going to your competitor?
The website for the game only shows a PC and PlayStation symbol.
Going off of all of that it looks highly likely to be "Timed" with PC and a "Console-Exclusive" to PS5. It's not a "narrative" just a highly likely observation.
Again, if I'm wrong show me the evidence that it's confirmed for Xbox and Launching Day One on PC?
@Fiendish-Beaver It hasn't been confirmed for PC at launch which insinuates that is the "timed" part. Again, when the wording was "Timed Console-Exclusive" when the word Console Exclusive' has been used in the past it has meant one console and PC.
When Oddworld SoulStorm was announced it just said "Timed Exclusive" and it later launched on PC and Xbox. The wording used here is different.
As you said it was stated "Timed for PS5 and PC" notice that it doesn't say anything about "Launch Timed Exclusive for PS5 and PC?"
I don't mean to be a downer, just a realist. Especially when Sony has gone to so much trouble in the development of it. Why do that it if going to your competitors?
I hope they allow us to make our own themes like they did on PS3. Most of the gripes I had with the features have been addressed so far. The messy friends list at the start, the messy party system, having to go through 5 menus just to send or view a message. It's getting there.
@Fiendish-Beaver It hasn't been confirmed for Xbox and likely isn't coming. It's "timed" with PC and says "Console Exclusive'" in the wording. Whenever Phil Spencer says "Console Exclusive'" it means Xbox and PC only. And the teaser said "A Legend Remade for PS5" why would they only state PS5?
It's also been written by IGN that Sony have part-funded the development, have full publishing rights and have people from their own first party teams helping Aspyre with the development.
Why go to all that trouble if it's also coming to Xbox? It's highly likely it isn't.
Only played Perfect Dark Zero, didn't think much of it. Not sure if that was considered a good one or not. I got it when I bought my Xbox 360.
When I saw that confusing headline I thought there was going to be another timed Tomb Raider Xbox Exclusive.
I immediately thought, yep this'll be when we see the hypocritical comments about how timed exclusivity is ok. When Xbox does it.
For the record I'm not against timed exclusives or exclusives in general.
And yeah, I share the sentiment. This has nothing to do with PlayStation so why is it here?
Yes. That now means all of my PS1/2/3/4 games are fine forever. I only buy physical so I'm all good. As for updates, there is an archive on the internet for every PS3/4 game that ever released. So when the PSN does eventually go down, with the help of CFW we'll be able to install game updates offline via USB.
Digital people who don't back up their games will still be out of luck though.
@ralphdibny
PS3 only has a time limit on digital games.
They have an expiry time that has to be re-verified through PSN every couple of years. Physical is unaffected.
@UltimateOtaku91
Exactly. I agree with everything you've said there which is why I feel the way I do even though some may see it as spiteful. I have an Xbox, I have a Nintendo Switch, I have a Steam Account and I have a PS5. I have a preference for PlayStation, I don't think much of GamePass and I fear that it will breed mediocrity in the end. Sure Indie Devs are thriving now but AAA games are doubtful to make back their huge investments between either a small percentage of service revenue vs a full purchase. This is why, among other reasons that I prefer to buy full boxed copies at full price yet I get called a corporate shill for it. The way I see it is I have more power with a boxed copy as opposed to a corporation or service taking that game away from me in the future whenever they choose.
As for the whole exclusive situation I can see you so what share my feelings on the hypocrisy of it all. Even those who don't, they're untitled to their opinion as I am in mine.
For example, when KOTOR comes out I doubt Xbox will get it and if they don't there will be hell to pay from them, yet the Bethesda situation is totally ok.
The reason I say that is, yes, it's timed, with PC but the wording is, "timed Console-exclusive" I believe that means, timed with PC and exclusive to PS5 on console. When the teaser was up it said "remade for PS5" why would they name just one if it was also coming to Xbox? It has also become known and reported by IGN that Sony have full publishing rights, have part funded the game and several of their own first party Devs are helping to make it. Why go to all that trouble if it's coming to Xbox too?
And remember when Phil says "Console-Exclusive" it usually mean "Xbox and PC only" not PlayStation. Looking at the wording it certainly seems to suggest that for KOTOR.
But hey, remember what they said. "You don't spend all that money to share with your competitor's".
I bet there will be double standards when the time comes.
@UltimateOtaku91
It's not so much that but the hypocrisy that's gets to me. The Xbox fans on PX seem to think that they're allowed exclusives but PlayStation isn't. Example, Microsoft claiming a traditional and major third party publisher and keeping their games away from a platform they always existed on is fine and justifiable to them. But Sony getting a third party or timed exclusive is bad for the industry and totally evil.
I don't comment over there because the toxicity is even worse but I saw your comments which your opinions are similar to my own and they ripped you apart for it. Quite frankly it was disgusting.
As I said, they seem to think it's ok to demand everything go to GamePass because that's good for the industry, but keeping Zenimax/ Bethesda games off of PlayStation is totally fine for the industry. So yeah, if that means I am spiteful, then I guess I am. I know that makes me no better, but as I said, the hypocrisy annoys me the most.
@nessisonett I'm not going to apologise for that, especially when they do it. Besides, I believe in exclusives, third or first party, doesn't matter to me. As I said it differenciates one platform from another, otherwise there would be no point to consoles at all.
Again, I won't apologise for my opinion on that stance.
And for your information, check my profile. I have all platforms but I'm allowed a preference.
@BrintaPap
I know it's on PC, I'm talking about console exclusivity. End of the day exclusivity differentiates one platform from another, and since Xbox fans were celebrating when, and still rubbing it in PlayStation gamers' faces, that Microsoft took traditional third party franchises away from other console players then they should be fine with it. Else that just makes them hypocrites. Because according to a lot of them, exclusives matter again now.
Hm, says a new RPG. Could be more news about SMT5. I'd like an announcement that Persona 4 Golden is coming to PS4/5. Doubt we'll see anything regarding a Persona 6.
Don't think I'll be buying any of those overpriced 4thGen NVMe's. I'll just stick to my 8TB HDD. It's got all my PS4 games on it and several of my PS5 games. When I want to play them I just transfer them back, only takes a few minutes.
It's a minor inconvenience compared to the cost of the 1or2TB NVMe's. I prefer not to delete stuff if it can be helped, so they'd fill up fairly quickly. Imagine what 4-8TB versions will cost when they are a thing. 😬
Several of the games on that list don't exist and some have never even been rumoured. I call it total fake. Probably some PC gamers' wishful thinking.
Why would Sony 'leak' the new GoW and HFW that aren't even out on their console yet for PC? that would kill the PS5 before its first year on the market. Even I would just build a new PC at that point because there would be literally no reason to own a PlayStation.
@twitchtvpat I just thought it would be less messy. One disc/download that will always ensure you play the correct version. No upgrade fees and you can't cheat the system by buying the cheaper copy because there isn't one.
Just my thought, I think Sony messed up a bit.
People who later get a PS5 just put their disc in and it downloads the updated assets and features, only needing one disc or download purchase.
@art_of_the_kill It would have made for a much less messy situation to the whole cross gen upgrade release fiasco that's for sure.
But then with Xbox Smart Delivery Sony would get a lot of backlash so you can't win either way. And they'd miss out on the potential couple of thousand sales from folk who can't yet get a PS5.
I must admit, a PlayStation Smart Delivery type of thing would have caused much less problems. You get one disc/download and the console will ensure you get the better version each time, you can play it on either and easily get the superior option when you're ready.
Credit where credit is due, Microsoft did better there.
@Fiendish-Beaver Oh don't get me wrong, I agree. It's stupid, I personally just don't like the hypocrisy. I don't hate Xbox and blindly love PlayStation. Hell, I was extremely against the Horizon Forbidden West upgrade situation from Sony despite owning a PS5, it's just wrong.
We're all gamers yet so many are at each others throats, slating one side for the exact same thing the other does.
@somnambulance We might get a KotOR 3 yet if this turns out to be a sales success. While it gets some flak I wouldn't mind SWTOR on consoles because I never played it on PC and given how the likes of Destiny have done well a cross-play SW would do very well on consoles I think.
@UltimateOtaku91 I saw you really getting some flak for your opinions over on PureXbox just because you made some valid points. The KotOR article over there is a real crap storm.
And yet us PlayStation/PushSquare guys are the toxic ones apparently.
@AdamNovice They've been doing that since yesterday on PureXbox. The Indiana Jones game and ES/FO due to Zenimax acquisition, that's ok, they're still defending that.
But a timed exclusive Star Wars game is evil, anti-consumer and out of order because the original was on Xbox first. It's a real storm over there right now.
TBH there is no guarantee it's going to Xbox at all. Sure it's says 'timed exclusive' but that could just be between PS5 and later on PC since a day one PC launch hasn't been confirmed.
The wording leaves a lot to interpretation. 'Launch Console Exclusive' where console exclusive usually means 'One Console and a PC release' at some point.
I've played and finished the originals about 50 times, I play them around 2-3 times per year and I'm super overly excited for this.
I was on the mic with my friends watching the showcase and as soon as I heard Bastilla's voice I screamed "no effing way! KOTOR!" then when I saw Revan I screamed again.
My friends don't get it because they've never played them and don't know how badass Revan is.
Highly doubt it. These are remasters repackaged, not a cross-gen release. Your upgrades are for games that release cross-gen simultaneously. Atleast that seems to be the premise so far.
Either way there will be a "bleep" storm when and if that's the case.
I also don't think these games need a remaster. They already looked great on PS4, if anything a 60fps patch would have been enough.
Personally I see the games with PS Plus a boon. They don't owe us anything so while they may be an undesirable or great selection for anyone they're nice to have either way.
That being said I think a tier system might be a good idea in the future. Maybe three stages.
Tier 1: 20£/$ Just for online play, party chat and Cloud Sync for the year.
Tier 2: The usual £/$50 yearly for the Online Play, Cloud Sync and 'free games'
Tier 3: £/$70 yearly for the usual PSPlus, 'free games; Cloud Sync, and PSNow.
That might make people happier if they'd rather have more or less of what's included. And PSNow would need an overhaul of course to be a competitor to GamePass, that needs some competition. I personally wouldn't use a service but I know some might.
@Col_McCafferty Yes, I agree and see your point there. Which is why I did say it's marginally acceptable to ask a small fee to upgrade to better features, textures or whatever the case may be, that's not too unreasonable. It just felt wrong to charge people who do not yet have a PS5 full price a second time to have those things.
I myself have bought the standard disc version on PS5 because one thing I dislike about the upgrade process is that it is digital. Which of course there is no other way to do it, I just prefer to have the version I choose as a physical copy.
I do also disagree with their decision about a digital code in the collector's edition. I would have thought that collector's would prefer a physical copy for the purpose of a collection. It seems like a silly decision. But it also occurred to me about the people who bought the all digital edition, what about them?
And then I thought that maybe they think or understand that going all digital means they never intended on ever buying discs or collector's edition in physical form. I just don't know what to think, is it a safety decision incase they buy it and can't use a disc or something else? Not a clue, I just don't get it.
Again, apologies to all if my post came off overly harsh or I caused you, col, any stress or anxiety, this was not my intent and it is sometimes difficult to express yourself over texts. I just didn't see why people were defending a situation where they were clearly being taken advantage of. I love PlayStation and it was something that brought much joy to my childhood in the 90's so to see Sony treat us like that felt awful when I consider the beginnings of PlayStation and how its customers, for the most part, that kept it going.
@Col_McCafferty
Maybe I was overly harsh I admit. But perhaps you can understand why, I couldn't understand the thought process of people defending that. Again, I'm not saying we should be entitled, I know I certainly am not entitled to anything but surely somewhere you must feel we were being taken advantage of? I just think it's disgusting since customers are the very reason for any corporations success.
I edited my post above to add, do not mistake it's intent if it came across the wrong way, I'm not trying to pick a fight. And there are several points you've made in this thread that I agree with. It just hurt to be called "arrogant" because I perhaps have a strong sense of morality.
I'm sure it was you (I think) that made a point of this website pretty much driving a wedge between PlayStation gamers and that is true as of late. We shouldn't be at each others throats. And I also don't feel that this site, or PureXbox should write blatant articles about the failures of the other side just to stir the pot for clicks. If I want Xbox news I'll go there (presuming of course it's only Xbox related) and vise versa.
I hope for peace, for all of us in the future and for us all to enjoy talking about PlayStation here, after all this is one of the very few PlayStation only websites left.
@Col_McCafferty
You say I'm "arrogant" for stating people defending Sony's actions are part of the problem and I "did sod all".
All it takes is one person talking about it to spread the word, Sony may not look at this site but we are not limited by it. People here talk, they also talk elsewhere (as I did, not just here as you think). This raises awareness that when enough people call out these blatant anti-consumer actions across enough social online platforms that it reaches the ears of these corporations, as it did, to force change for the better. I have a PS5 so this meant no difference to me, but should I blindly accept them treating PS4 owners with that disgusting practice? No, because it's wrong.
It's not a sense of entitlement either, £/$10 is marginally acceptable to upgrade to new and better features but forcing a second purchase on people not lucky enough to be part of the new generation yet when they initially spoke of cross-gen upgrades is unacceptable.
Remember Battlefront 2? All it takes is gamers coming together to make change for the better. Again, I'm not saying we should be "entitled" to anything or everything ridiculous but when we are blatantly being taken advantage of we should speak up.
I'm not disingenuous, I'm not picking a fight here. And I don't disagree with some of the points you've made in this thread but to call me "arrogant" without considering the bigger picture is not fair. I, as one person, did as much as any one person can in spreading the word everywhere I could think of because my sense of morality couldn't let it lie.
When you said that this site is, in so many words, driving a wedge between PlayStation fans, I agree, they are and we should be coming together but I can't understand how anyone can defend what they planned to do from a customer standpoint.
@JapaneseSonic I don't defend Games as a Service. I don't buy digital games I always have and always will buy physical. But that is an entirely different situation. This action from Sony is indefensible and no matter how much you try, even when changing the subject, this cannot be defended.

Such wasted potential.

Re: Poll: Did You Buy Kena: Bridge of Spirits?
My option isn't there. Waiting for the physical version. Releasing the game digital first is probably to entice impatient people into going digital by default. I'm still not on board with digital and as long as a physical counterpart for any game exists that's what I'll buy.
Re: Tomb Raider, Marvel's Avengers Maker Now Co-Developer on Xbox Exclusive
@Amppari
Good day.
Re: Tomb Raider, Marvel's Avengers Maker Now Co-Developer on Xbox Exclusive
@Amppari
It's not a narrative.
Re: Tomb Raider, Marvel's Avengers Maker Now Co-Developer on Xbox Exclusive
@Fiendish-Beaver
It hasn't been confirmed for PC at launch which insinuates that is the "timed" part.
Re: Sony Has a Long List of 'Interesting, Exciting, Fantastic Ideas' for Future PS5 Firmware Updates
I hope they allow us to make our own themes like they did on PS3. Most of the gripes I had with the features have been addressed so far. The messy friends list at the start, the messy party system, having to go through 5 menus just to send or view a message. It's getting there.
Re: Tomb Raider, Marvel's Avengers Maker Now Co-Developer on Xbox Exclusive
@Fiendish-Beaver
It hasn't been confirmed for Xbox and likely isn't coming.
Re: Tomb Raider, Marvel's Avengers Maker Now Co-Developer on Xbox Exclusive
Only played Perfect Dark Zero, didn't think much of it. Not sure if that was considered a good one or not. I got it when I bought my Xbox 360.
When I saw that confusing headline I thought there was going to be another timed Tomb Raider Xbox Exclusive.
I immediately thought, yep this'll be when we see the hypocritical comments about how timed exclusivity is ok. When Xbox does it.
For the record I'm not against timed exclusives or exclusives in general.
And yeah, I share the sentiment. This has nothing to do with PlayStation so why is it here?
Re: Sony Fixes PS4 Internal Clock Battery Issue with Firmware Update 9.00
Re: Sony Fixes PS4 Internal Clock Battery Issue with Firmware Update 9.00
@ralphdibny
PS3 only has a time limit on digital games.
They have an expiry time that has to be re-verified through PSN every couple of years. Physical is unaffected.
Re: Atlus Opens English Persona 25th Anniversary Site, Promises 'Game Information'
@UltimateOtaku91
Re: Atlus Opens English Persona 25th Anniversary Site, Promises 'Game Information'
@UltimateOtaku91
Re: Atlus Opens English Persona 25th Anniversary Site, Promises 'Game Information'
@nessisonett
I'm not going to apologise for that, especially when they do it.
Re: Atlus Opens English Persona 25th Anniversary Site, Promises 'Game Information'
@BrintaPap
Re: Atlus Opens English Persona 25th Anniversary Site, Promises 'Game Information'
Persona 4 Golden port to PS4/5 is all I want to hear. Exclusively.
Re: Kena: Bridge of Spirits Grabs Physical Version in November
Then I'm waiting for that. Physical all the way.
Re: Poll: Do You Want Even More PS5 Marvel Games from Sony?
The Punisher game back on PS2/Xbox was great. The gruesome brutality of the interrogations was amazing for its day. Anyone remember that game?
As for new games I'd love to see Daredevil. An underrated character in my opinion.
Re: SEGA to Announce New RPG at Tokyo Game Show, Persona Dev Atlus Also Features
Hm, says a new RPG. Could be more news about SMT5. I'd like an announcement that Persona 4 Golden is coming to PS4/5. Doubt we'll see anything regarding a Persona 6.
Re: New PS5 Firmware Update Out for Everyone Tomorrow, Includes Internal SSD Support
Re: Rumour: Gigantic GeForce Leak Goes Nuclear, Hints at All Kinds of Unannounced Games, PS5 Titles Linked to PC
Re: Gran Turismo 7's PS5, PS4 Campaign Requires an Online Connection
I was on the fence with this. Now I'm not interested. Stupid idea, so the game will become useless in a few years.
Re: Marvel's Wolverine, Spider-Man 2 Are PS5 Exclusives
@twitchtvpat
I just thought it would be less messy.
Re: Marvel's Wolverine, Spider-Man 2 Are PS5 Exclusives
@art_of_the_kill
It would have made for a much less messy situation to the whole cross gen upgrade release fiasco that's for sure.
Re: Marvel's Wolverine, Spider-Man 2 Are PS5 Exclusives
@OmegaStriver
Well, not 'die', it has an amazing library of games and will one day be talked about as a classic, like the PS1+2.
We'll just say, take a bow, PS4, good night.
Re: Sony Publishing and Collaborating on Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake for PS5
@Fiendish-Beaver
Oh don't get me wrong, I agree.
Re: Sony Publishing and Collaborating on Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake for PS5
@IonMagi
I'm guessing so, or it's selective memory, or hypocrisy, or all of the above.
Re: Sony Publishing and Collaborating on Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake for PS5
@somnambulance
We might get a KotOR 3 yet if this turns out to be a sales success. While it gets some flak I wouldn't mind SWTOR on consoles because I never played it on PC and given how the likes of Destiny have done well a cross-play SW would do very well on consoles I think.
Re: Sony Publishing and Collaborating on Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake for PS5
@UltimateOtaku91
I saw you really getting some flak for your opinions over on PureXbox just because you made some valid points. The KotOR article over there is a real crap storm.
And yet us PlayStation/PushSquare guys are the toxic ones apparently.
Re: Sony Publishing and Collaborating on Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake for PS5
@AdamNovice
They've been doing that since yesterday on PureXbox.
Re: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake Confirmed for PS5
I've played and finished the originals about 50 times, I play them around 2-3 times per year and I'm super overly excited for this.
I was on the mic with my friends watching the showcase and as soon as I heard Bastilla's voice I screamed "no effing way! KOTOR!" then when I saw Revan I screamed again.
My friends don't get it because they've never played them and don't know how badass Revan is.
Re: Fans Ponder Whether There's an Upgrade Path for Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection on PS5
Re: Poll: Are You Happy With Your PS Plus Games for September 2021?
Re: Horizon Forbidden West Will Now Offer Free PS4 to PS5 Upgrade, Sony Confirms
@Col_McCafferty
Yes, I agree and see your point there.
Re: Horizon Forbidden West Will Now Offer Free PS4 to PS5 Upgrade, Sony Confirms
@LiamCroft
Then I humbly and sincerely apologise for that comment, Liam. I may not have correctly noticed.
Re: Horizon Forbidden West Will Now Offer Free PS4 to PS5 Upgrade, Sony Confirms
@Col_McCafferty
Re: Horizon Forbidden West Will Now Offer Free PS4 to PS5 Upgrade, Sony Confirms
@Col_McCafferty
Re: Horizon Forbidden West Will Now Offer Free PS4 to PS5 Upgrade, Sony Confirms
@JapaneseSonic
I don't defend Games as a Service. I don't buy digital games I always have and always will buy physical.
But that is an entirely different situation. This action from Sony is indefensible and no matter how much you try, even when changing the subject, this cannot be defended.
Demand better or get taken advantage of.
