Sweet, not played the Crash Trilogy.

Excellent month for me as I've played neither PS4 game. They will all be added to the list of ever growing games I've yet to start.

@Rob_230 @NomNom In the statement they made, it was quite clear it was because of testing across all systems it is releasing on.

Well I'm not rearranging my leave off work again. At least I will have demon Souls to play on ps5 on the 19th.

Sounds good! Will be checking NG+ on PS5.

Only experienced Uplay through PS4, thought the extra stuff you earn is kinda neat.

Don't recall any performance issues that some did and I was playing on a peasant PS4. Just the dodgy textures, which didn't really lessen the experience for me. Fantastic game.

Cool, always thought they do something like this more often. Like the Avatar you receive when you get a platinum from some Sony games.

It is a neat feature to have but I don't see it as a system seller or anything like that. Not for me anyway.

@djlard I imagine they will have that kind of stuff on there too, to satisfy your map icon finding needs.

@djlard So when they specifically showed what this article is on about, the video was already there on the game hub, when they selected the video it started played almost instantly. Which would be quicker then having to search for it on YouTube or wherever.

@djlard Did you not see the presentation for the UI? It looked pretty quick when they showed this off.

Having tips videos PIP or by the side is gonna be well handy. And good that they will be non spoilery too. I've had loads spoiled in the past from next video or recommendations on YouTube.

@PorkYoself What you describe there, in a way is making the the games compatible with PS5. Especially if it could never be done previously.

@Mpquikster Well yeah you need the game disk in the console so it checks for the licence etc. Without the disk the game won't load at all. When you do have the disk in the console you still get all the other benefits of having a game digitally that the SSD offers, you are not going to be hampered for having a game on disk.

I like it. Very sleek. And the ps store on the console was long overdue a bit of oil squirted between the gears.

I'll be playing Cyberpunk 2077 for a good couple of months using BC. After that I will mainly be using it inbetween PS5 games, if that ever happens. I have quite a meaty backlog so will have no shortage of games to play.

@SegaBlueSky I've not seen any of those or the trailer. I try to avoid most promo stuff these days as they just end up revealing most of the game. Then you are left with hardly any surprises when playing the game.

Thanks for the spoiler in the sub title of the article, I didn't know that character is in this game.

I would say that I'm surprised that even this news people can still twist it into something negative. But I should expect nothing less in this day and age. Lighten up people, there is already enough negativity in the world!

@RogerRoger Hopefully I won't go through as many of those memory cards, and they won't be so easy to misplace. My (digital) wallet certainly might not be able to cope!

@Oz_Momotaro Well yes, you can do that but then the choice is entirely down to the individual. Then they can't really complain when they have chosen not to do something which is totally viable and hardly back breaking. And it shouldn't take as long as it currently does, so even less of ball ache. I see no issue.

@RogerRoger Unless I've misunderstood you, it's not. The cheaper digital PS5 is still more expensive than the 1TB SSD. But you can still store games on 'normal' external drives. PS5 games are only playable from the internal ps5 drive. Unless someone goes totally crazy with purchasing PS5 games and has to play them all at once, most of us will be ok with what we have currently got for the foreseeable future when the ps5 is out.

@LiamCroft Yeah I know that but that could be an error. Or more likely that the error is on PS Now not stating an expiry date. 🤷‍♂️

@LiamCroft Also Days Gone has no expiry date when I'm viewing it in PS Now. So unless that is an error, it could be permanent too?

I'll probably wait until i get Days Gone as part of the PS plus collection on PS5 and then at least I'll have it permanently as long as I stay subscribed.

@Arugula You have a slim model though. Earlier PS4 and pro models are prone to having loud fans. My dad bought his ps4 12 -18 months after launch and is much quieter than mine, which was bought within 6 months of launch. Mystery solved.

When will we as human beings learn that this is just plain wrong? Shame on you to go down to this level. Unfortunately I don't see this being the last we hear of something like this.

There is also From Software, who although obviously not a western developer, their Soulsborne games are more akin to western developed games.

I'd rather a sequel or a new IP than a remaster of a PS4 game.

I'll continue what I've been doing over the last couple of years, only pre-ordering games I absolutely want to play. This year it will be about 4 games, last year I think it was 2 games. Everything has has been picked up cheaper either in sales or second hand.

Besides the prices quoted are only the RRP, they will eventually go down on sites like Amazon.

@get2sammyb Yep I agree. It feels the events and news of last night have made some go a bit crazy. Hopefully with a bit of good news it will calm some of their fears.

Will most likely go for the standard version. Works out really well for me as I've already got the 19th and the week after off work for Cyberpunk.

Still think it would be a strange decision for Sony to buy Remedy if they didn't have publishing rights for the next couple of games.

@Ridwaano Remedy were bought by Epic earlier this year, so it unrealistic to expect Sony to buy them so soon.

I'd be surprised if any more launch window games are announced, but I expect there to a few more games teased which will be out in 6 - 18 months from launch. Sony did say thet were trying to vere away from announcing games years away from being ready. Just hope we don't get something like Nintendo did with Metroid Prime 4 and literally just get the logo and then nothing else for 2 years.

@AlexSora89 PlayStation already has a number of first party exclusives already announced, with more to come no doubt.
