Will watch hopefully at some point this week. Really enjoyed previous No Clip docs I've watched previously. Horizon Zero Dawn and Doom 2016 are especially great.

I never liked the maps which mainly had soldier v soldier combat. Much preferred the more open ones when you had a load of vehicles to choose from.

Well that is disappointing and has happened on a few occasions now. Any game that this happens with which I'm ready to play, I'll just get 2nd hand and claim the free ps5 version that way. I have a bunch of CEX store credit I can use. Hopefully this can be sorted out for the future.

Great news! Playing Returnal at the moment and have been loving it. Good to see them transition from smaller titles to something a bit more substantial.

Sooner rather than later to hopefully quash some of these stupid leaks and rumours of late.

If you find a good summon, and not someone that just stands there and does nothing, it can make some of the more tricker encounter more manageable. I'm looking at you The Nameless King from Dark Souls 3. Also helping others overcome bosses and stuff with reward you, and is generally give a good feeling afterwards.

I think the soundtrack is by Mick Gordon who did Doom and Doom Eternal. Will be keeping my eye on this as I've like what I've seensk far.

Excited for Plagues Tale 2 as the first one was so good.

I have zero interest in Xbox or Gamepass, so what games go on there matters not to me.

Well that is a very bombastic trailer. Used to play loads of Bad Company 1, 2 and Battlefield 3, 4. Did have a go at 1 and V but couldn't get into them and hardly touched the single player campaigns.

Most likely Performance RT. Really struggled going back to 30fps after experiencing 60fps since getting a PS5.

@zupertramp You see I've never had a controller fail due to a mechanical fault, as far as I can remember anyway.

@Th3solution I'm pretty sure it was only till a few years ago the advice was to drain the battery before recharging them. Batteries in phones and other moble devices these days are best recharged little and often. I doubt they will explode or anything, but it will shorten the life of the battery.

@zupertramp I've had at least two Dual Shock 4 controllers keep very minimal charge, so eventually had to replace them. Iirc they were the earlier model and not the revised ones that came out later. This also happened with a couple Xbox 360 controllers too, or at least the rechargeable battery packs that you could get.

Returned to Returnal after taking a break as it was destroying me.

Just added a load onto my wishlist on my PS5. Games like Darkest Dungeon were on my previous wish list almost the whole ps4 gen before Sony nixed it.

@Elodin There are offers on the PS store in the UK and on other sites, just not as cheap as that one, so it might be worth keeping an eye out if there are similar offers in the US drop in the coming days.

@OM1993 Different studios can get different things out of their games, just because one developer can hit 4K 60fps on one game does not mean suddenly it is possible for all games going forward. There could be something in one game which uses extra resources preventing it hitting 4k 60fps consistently to make the game stable to play. There could be dozens of reasons for this too, and that was just one example.

Just got an notification from Amazon and Demon's Souls is £44.15 which is the cheapest I've seen it.

I will watch this a bit later when the 4K footage goes up on YouTube. Whenever I've watched these things 'live', the picture quality has always been a bit rubbish.

Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order PS5 version and another random ps4 game I already have.

I don't remember last year's events, but I'm not one that usually gets hyped for these types of things anyway. I do what I usually do and watch the stuff that interests me after the event.

Strange, I've just read on another site the patch adds haptic feedback support too.

It would depend on the price for me. The sites that do it currently are double the price of a normal controller, which is too much IMO.

@colonelkilgore You might wanna try and a smaller title first if you are unsure if you will like the genre, something like Enter the Gungeon is often on sale and can be found really cheap. There were loads of good reccomendations in the Returnal forum thread, so you might wanna check that out.

@colonelkilgore There is hardly any platforming in Dead Cells, so would not class it as a 2d platformer.

Enter the Gungeon was recently free as part of Stay at Home, that would be a good introduction to the genre of rogue lite/likes.

Just had Returnal handed to me by Posty, so will be diving into that shortly.

@Gavin_Newsom I was a bit late getting a 360, so i would have possibly played them in the last 2 years of that gen. I generally do not got back to games I've previously played, as I rather play games I've not experienced before. It would have to be a special game for me to pick up a remastered version of something I've played before, something like Metal Gear Solid, Dark Souls or FFVII. I thought the Mass Effect games were good, but not outstanding so are not that special for me.

No, and I don't intend to either as I played and completed them already on 360.

Isn't it always slim pickings in terms of exclusive games this early into a generation? Covid-19 has delayed things too, so people need to respect that a bit more. Plus most PS4 games are boosted on PS5 too or have a standalone PS5 version, so for some people that is enough, along with the exclusives we already have and that are incoming. So I don't get that complaint.

As for the game, I will be getting it but maybe a bit later in the year during the darker evenings.

@JJ2 Yeah my dad bought his ps4 about 6 months after me, and his didn't have the glossy finish on one half, had physical buttons for eject and power and wasn't as loud as mine. Wasn't a pro or slim either.
