@BloodNinja Sorry to hear that man hope you get well soon. Treat yourself to a cool ninja game while you self-isolate.
@OorWullie what game was that? Not to be a cliche Sony fanboy on Pushsquare but they do seem very generous with their scores for the most part on Nintendolife.
Bit of a weak show in terms of Playstation-centric announcements but Returnal is looking good and I'm interested in playing Disco Elysium, assuming its a good port 👍
I liked it overall, but it was too long. I was running out of enthusiasm by the end and about three quarters in the show seemed to be running out of steam.
Anyone who thinks this was a truly bad show though needs to watch some of the older game awards, now THEY were bad
My Vita is hacked so luckily I can get everything I've bought from PKGJ (or whatever it was called). This isn't really surprising considering how lazy Sony is with the Vita store, pretty sure I logged in to see a sale promoted that ended like two years ago once
Meh, they can keep em for all I care. The big games aren't coming out for years anyway and even then they'll probably be full of bugs and microtransactions. This is the company that made Fallout 76 a running joke for over a year
I'm hyped to play Sackboy, probably going to get it for Christmas. I haven't played it so I can't say if its as good or worse as it's metacritic, but I definitely noticed some complaints in reviews that would have been disregarded in other platformers.
Why are cutesy costumes of 18+ rated games an issue? You can dress up as Jim from Ghost of Tushima in this game, but he's not stabbing people or covered in blood, it's just the costume.
Same with Resident Evil/God of War costumes in Little Big Planet, nobody is shooting zombies or tearing off heads. They're just outfits that don't suggest anything violent
@BAMozzy Exclusives do matter. Xbox has gone the entire gen without any meaningful ones. Yeah games like Cyberpunk will be on Xbox as well as PC and PS4, but where's the appeal? What's the point in an Xbox when I can get most of its library on PS4 + PS4 exclusives?
As someone who owns a PS4 but not an Xbox they've given me no reason to get one
They still have no new IP I care about. Ninja Theory's new game was a major let down. The show was also very game pass heavy. The thing is, Game Pass is something I'd buy if I already owned an Xbox, not something I'd buy an Xbox for in the first place. Make some exciting new games already
@dark_knightmare2 I hope you're right. I think Dreams looks cool and I'll pick it up when it's launched in its entirety, but I worry about it's future and Media Molecule as a whole :/ 🤞
Not that there's anything wrong with a 7, but I was kinda hoping Bend had a few tricks up there sleeve with this game. Their past games are great and they've been working on this for years 😔
I agree. I've also noticed PS+ discounts not being applied when a game is cross-buy and games missing from sales. For example Vagrant Story was on sale in the recent Big In Japan sale yet there's no mention of it on the promotion, you have to search manually.

Re: Here's a Bunch of Destruction AllStars GIFs While You Wait for PS5 Gameplay
Hate to be a downer as I'm usually a supporter of Sony's less advertised games, but I don't have much faith in this one.

The amount of variety in this game looks insane, I was sold on that trailer

@Hootnoodle You're in for a treat there, Divinity Original Sin 2 is incredible. Excellent console ports too

Re: Watch Dogs Legion (PS5) - Bland Open-Worlder at Least Looks and Runs Better

Re: Sony Believes PS5 Game Pricing Is Fair, Denies It Considered Charging More
What annoys me is they've seemingly raised the prices of PS4 games too, cheapest price for Sackboy right now is £51.85.
Where the heck has that price come from?

Yes. That's exactly what I said /s
Also I don't know who "Y'all" is because I was the first (and so far, only) person to mention Fallout 76 in this article.

Re: PS5 Launch Lineup Smokes PS4's on Metacritic
@Kienda
Breath of the wild was the switch's biggest launch title, and it wasn't an exclusive. In fact it was a Wii U port that dropped as low as 20fps.
Some of PS5's are cross-gen too I know, but just saying

Gonna replay Divinity 2, pure quality game. Also going to give Wargroove a go. Probably not the most popular choices 😅
Re: Astro's Playroom PS5 - A Love Letter to PlayStation's Past
No complaints from me, looks like a really fun and quality pack-in game. Japan Studio are really onto something with these little robot guys
Re: Dragon Quest XI S Is Indeed 60FPS on PS4 Pro
@nhSnork Ahh yes of course, the Switch, the grown up "working mans" console
Re: Dragon Quest XI S Is Indeed 60FPS on PS4 Pro
@nhSnork It's a fair question, and the answer is nothing besides handheld mode, which arguably isn't as important as a better framerate anyway

F**K Ubisoft.

Re: Days Gone - Open World Comfort Food with a Survival Horror Spin
I'm getting Ready at Dawn flashbacks here. Two companies who made great PSP/Vita games but struggled on PS4. I hope Sony don't close Bend :/
Re: Days Gone - Open World Comfort Food with a Survival Horror Spin
Not that there's anything wrong with a 7, but I was kinda hoping Bend had a few tricks up there sleeve with this game. Their past games are great and they've been working on this for years 😔
Re: Mortal Kombat 11 - Making One Fatal Mistake
They're blatantly waiting to add microtransactions to the store post-launch. It's really scummy that publishers keep doing this
Re: Reaction: Sony's Surprise PS5 Reveal Was a Stroke of Genius

Not exactly hard things to fix either.
Re: Review: Atelier Escha & Logy Plus (PS Vita)
Well to each their own, I loved this on PS3 and I think its the highest rated out of all the PS3 offerings. How is the framerate on the Vita version?
Re: Rumour: Two of Your November PlayStation Plus Games Have Been Leaked
People shouldn't be so quick to dismiss Magicka, and if you liked the first you'll definitely like the second. My girlfriend played it to death
The walking dead though...good for those who missed it the first 1000 times it was on sale, I suppose -.-
Re: Review: Corpse Party: Blood Drive (PS Vita)
