There are a few videos out there of the Titan demo being played by people who actually know what they're doing, and it looks pretty good. I wouldn't judge the game at all based on that abomination during the Microsoft conference.
Pretty sure the guy playing it just doesn't know what he's doing, it looked like you could warp-dodge the sweeping attacks, and warp onto the Titan, which this guy completely failed at, either way SE should be embarrassed in that showing.
Still optimistic for the game though, I enjoyed Duscae 2.0 enough to pre order.
This is pretty big news, word is that the "International Zodiac" edition was much better than the other version of the game, which was already quite good on its own.
Game looks very promising, according to some Japanese reviews, its only 10-20 hours long, so hopefully it won't be a full priced release. Definitely getting it if its in the $19.99 range.
The event started off pretty sluggish, but it ended up being pretty awesome in the end I think. I can't believe they pretty much made an entire CGI movie and kept it under wraps.
Collector's Edition will probably be too pricy and will sell out in seconds, but I'll definitely grab the Deluxe.
This game looks like it might not suck. Seems way too heavy on the cliches, but if the gameplay is as good as it looks and the story isn't dreadful, I'll probably pick this up.
Its funny to me that if EA or Ubisoft were to pull this, there would be a ton of backlash over the internet, and yet Bethesda gets away with it largely incident free. Hurray for double standards I suppose.
@themcnoisy To quote you, "These games have already made money in a previous generation 10-15 years ago".
Thus, you're implying that its wrong for them to be profiting off of games that they've already made money off of many fiscal years ago. Which, as you should know then, is a terrible, unrealistic business strategy.
I didn't imply at all that they'd lose money by selling them cheaper, I was responding to your statement.
@themcnoisy Because it takes Sony "Time and Cost" to put up these PS2 games. You're expecting them to lose money now because of profits they made years ago?
This needs to be really, really good or I think the Tales franchise will be in trouble. It's been too long since there's been a great game in that series.
I'm fine with multiple huge games, I just dreaded the 15-part episode approach that would've killed any sort of seamless-ness that a JRPG needs to excel.
Glad to hear it. I want Sony to focus more on their PS4 juggernaut. Nintendo completely outclasses them in the handheld department, stick to your strengths.

Re: E3 2016: This Is the Best Final Fantasy XV Video You'll See at E3

Re: Feature: All the E3 2016 Press Conferences Rated and Reviewed
Sony won E3 conferences easily (I do think Ubisoft was better than given credit for), but new Zelda is by far Game of the Show.
Re: E3 2016: Final Fantasy XV Looks Really, Really Rough in Awkward New Gameplay Demo

Re: Talking Point: Did Ubisoft's E3 2016 Press Conference Impress You?
It wasn't great, but at least better than EA and Bethesda.
Re: Persona 5 Gets a Confirmed Release Date, Will Be North America's Valentine in 2017
Expected 2017 for Western release, still disappointed, but at least it's Q1.
Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn Delayed to February 2017 on PS4
2016: Delayed until 2017.
It sure feels that way, doesn't it?
Re: Final Fantasy XII Remaster Announced for PS4
This is pretty big news, word is that the "International Zodiac" edition was much better than the other version of the game, which was already quite good on its own.
Re: Round Up: Overwatch PS4 Reviews Are Ridiculously Positive
I didn't think it was that great based on Beta. It was a lot of fun for a day or so, then it got pretty old.
It's a good game, but saying its 10/10 seems excessive.
Re: Wow, the Overwatch Beta Was Stupidly Popular
It was fun, but I don't think its worth the price tag. Seems like it would get old after a couple weeks.
Re: Persona 5 Goes Toe-to-Toe with Final Fantasy XV in September
I think at worst it'll be a January-Early Feb. Western Release, at best December.
Re: Tales of Berseria Spins a Yarn on PS4 in Early 2017
Hard to be really hyped about this because of Zestiria, but hopefully they learned from it.
Re: Live: Watch First English Gameplay of Great Looking PS4 JRPG I Am Setsuna Right Here
Game looks very promising, according to some Japanese reviews, its only 10-20 hours long, so hopefully it won't be a full priced release. Definitely getting it if its in the $19.99 range.
Re: Persona 5 May Finally Summon a Release Date Next Month
I've braced myself for a 2017 Western Release, but I really hope I'm wrong.
Either way I'm super hyped to finally get more news on the game.
Re: There's Talk That PS4 Exclusive Horizon: Zero Dawn Has Been Delayed
No surprise, this and Persona 5 are both going to wind up 2017 releases.
Oh well.
Re: Site News: Push Square Readers Select the 64 Greatest PlayStation Games of All Time
The first Uncharted game was pretty weak, not sure what that's doing up there.
Re: Final Fantasy VII's PS4 'Episodes' Will Be Full Games
It's a win-win. Square makes more money, and the players get more content.
I know some people would rather just one game. But to me, ~150-200+ hours of FF 7 sounds better than 40-60 hours.
Re: Final Fantasy XV Has to Sell a Helluva Lot of Copies to Be a Success
10 Million is super ambitious, I don't see it happening in today's economy.
The game will definitely do very, very well though.
Re: Live: Watch Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV Live Right Here
The event started off pretty sluggish, but it ended up being pretty awesome in the end I think. I can't believe they pretty much made an entire CGI movie and kept it under wraps.
Collector's Edition will probably be too pricy and will sell out in seconds, but I'll definitely grab the Deluxe.
Re: Live: Watch Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV Live Right Here
Wow that movie reveal caught me out of the blue. An All Star cast as well.
Re: PS4 JRPG Star Ocean 5 Enters Orbit with a Confirmed US Release Date
This game looks like it might not suck. Seems way too heavy on the cliches, but if the gameplay is as good as it looks and the story isn't dreadful, I'll probably pick this up.
Re: Here's a Tedious Teaser Trailer for the Announcement of Final Fantasy XV's Release Date
I wonder if they'll announce either FF XII HD or FF Type 1 at this event, or if it will be entirely XV focused.
Either way, I cannot wait!
Re: This Ain't the Greatest PS4 Flash Sale You'll Ever See
Peggle 2 for 1.50$ is an absolute steal.
Re: Giveaway: The Gods Deem You Worthy of a Free PS4 SMITE Beta Code
Wow thanks a lot guys, very unexpected. Looking forward to giving this a go.
Re: Want Fallout 4's Season Pass? We Suggest Getting It Now
Its funny to me that if EA or Ubisoft were to pull this, there would be a ton of backlash over the internet, and yet Bethesda gets away with it largely incident free. Hurray for double standards I suppose.
Re: Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Is the Most Stunning PS4 Game to Date
As amazing as this is going to be, I can't really justify spending ~93$ (after taxes and such) for a game that'll probably last me 9 hours or so.
Definitely going to get it down the road when it's cheaper.

@themcnoisy Because it takes Sony "Time and Cost" to put up these PS2 games. You're expecting them to lose money now because of profits they made years ago?
That's not how business works.
Re: Final Fantasy VII Remake Will Be Fully Voiced
@godslayer1975 What an embarrassing comment, you seem to want them to change absolutely nothing from the original, so just play the original.
You seem to think you're speaking for "the fans", when all you seem to want is for them to re release the exact same game with prettier graphics.
Some of us may actually want a new experience, believe it or not.
Re: Sony: We Put Time and Money into PS2 Titles on PS4
Entitled-feeling generation feeling entitled, nothing more to see here.
If you have the PS2 game and don't want to spend money, then just plug in your PS2 and play it.
Re: Oh Great, Bandai Namco's Started a Mysterious Game Countdown
Tales of iOS.
Tis the year of massively disappointing announcements.
Re: Tales of Berseria Spins An All-New Yarn in 2016 on PS4, PS3
This needs to be really, really good or I think the Tales franchise will be in trouble. It's been too long since there's been a great game in that series.
Re: Destiny Launches Pricey Level Boosters for PS4, PS3
Just say no, kids.
Re: Crisis Averted, Final Fantasy VII Remake 'Episodes' Will Each Be Full-Sized Games
All my fears have been laid to rest.
I'm fine with multiple huge games, I just dreaded the 15-part episode approach that would've killed any sort of seamless-ness that a JRPG needs to excel.
Re: Talking Point: Did PlayStation Experience 2015 Meet Your Expectations?
@Johnnycide " Ni No Kuni is Frozen for hipsters."
Or, you know, just people who like really good JRPGs?
Re: Talking Point: Did PlayStation Experience 2015 Meet Your Expectations?
Still not interested in VR, but there were some really cool games shown, so it was a good one in my books.
Re: Game of the Month: Top 4 PlayStation Games of October 2015
"Other" Disgaea 5 easily.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 91
Disgaea 5, same as the last two weeks.
Re: Store Update: 13th October 2015 (North America)
As much as I abhor DLC, I may have to make an exception with Disgaea.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 88
Disgaea 5.
Looking forward to sinking a solid 200+ hours into it.
Re: Store Update: 6th October 2015 (North America)
Picking up Disgaea+Nathan Drake later this week. Will definitely keep me busy until Fallout 4.
Re: PlayStation Dominates EDGE's Greatest Ever Games
A deliberately poor list designed to generate discussion and get website traffic.
IGN does it all the time, nothing new.
Re: Don't Hold Your Breath for a New PlayStation Handheld
Glad to hear it. I want Sony to focus more on their PS4 juggernaut. Nintendo completely outclasses them in the handheld department, stick to your strengths.
Re: Dragon Quest XI Is Officially Confirmed for PS4
Can't really get excited until localization is announced, if ever.
Re: Square Enix Plans on Showing Old Final Fantasy XV Episode Duscae 2.0 Gameplay at Gamescom 2015
I don't care about footage shown, I just want some details on a release date.
Re: Feature: The Best Games on PS4 - 2015 Edition
Hmmm. DA:I, GTA V and Mordor were all better than several of the games in the top 5.
In my opinion, of course.
Re: Japanese Sales Charts: PlayStation's Road to Nowhere Continues
Considering the huge drought in exciting new PS4 releases, not surprised. FF 15, FF7, KH3 and Persona 5 will help a lot.
Re: So, Dead or Alive 5: Last Round Is Flaunting a Second Season Pass
I don't blame the company one bit. If there are people who will pay a ridiculous amount of money, then by all means take advantage.
Re: The Teen Who Ruined PS4's Christmas Narrowly Avoids Jail
@3Above You'd be potentially endangering lives. Not that I support what this guy did, but he wasn't.
Seems fair to me.
Re: The Still Brilliant Final Fantasy IX Released 15 Years Ago Today
An absolute masterpiece of an RPG. My second favorite in the series behind 6.
Re: Tales of Zestiria's Collector's Edition Is Pretty Packed
Glad they aren't forcing you to buy the CE to get free DLC.
