Firstly, it’s really nice to have such clear and transparent communication, I appreciate that.
Secondly, it sounds like a large chunk of development is done, and they are now polishing lots. I still think it won’t release until early 2023, but that’s good to know.

I mean it’s absolutely hilarious, but also really insulting.
Like they clearly knew it is a complete mess, yet they release it anyway and then effectively say “oh my god guys so sorry, but trust us we had no idea it was this bad”
Like if it’s in this state dont apologise, just don’t release it in the first place.
But i mean of course they will anyway

This is looking a lot better, although not loving jacks VA. Either way am much more optimistic and will definitely give the demo a go

I think it really depends on how they do it. As long as it doesn’t feel rushed, then I don’t mind at all. It just feels like an AWFUL lot to get through in one game.

@get2sammyb I don’t know how interesting this is, but there have been rumours that this is actually Hideo Kojima’s next game. The studio’s Twitter is completely empty, and the only game they have developed is this mobile game with a Death Stranding hand as it’s logo.
Also, the initials of the director is HK. Plus, the studio initials are BB...

I’m about halfway through right now. This game is actually blowing my mind. One of the best I have ever played, ever.

It would be much nicer for everyone if Stadia tried to get people to play their console because they WANT to play exclusive games that they have developed and put work into, and not just because they’re paying loads of money to deprive us of another experience for another year.

@oldschool1987 so true. Literally just finished it for the first time half an hour ago. It’s competing with Nier Automata for my favourite game of all time. Absolutely incredible I can’t even describe it

Well good for them. The songs are beautiful , and they are really talented. I’m only on Episode 3 currently, but the use of the music in the game creates truly powerful and unforgettable moments.

I want to play the demo so bad, but I’m gonna hold off. It’s only 2 months until it releases now, and I want that ‘I can’t believe I’m playing this game’ feeling when I start the full thing

I can not believe how much they have nailed the character designs. It’s like EXACTLY how I would want them to be

The reason that having a drop like this is so good is because there are NO EXPECTATIONS. normally, they will announce a presentation say a week or two in advance, and then the rumour mill and hype machine take over, and before you know it, nothing they announce is enough, or quite right. Therefore, disappointment is inevitable, as they either have just announced stuff we expected, or haven't announced stuff that we randomly guessed.

Doing it like this means that everyone is suddenly taken aback by the fact that there is PS5 news, and the excitement then stems from what they have announced, not from what they MIGHT reveal.

I'm now just hoping that they stick to the original personalities, and don't make Cloud the complete edge lord that he became in Advent Children.

I honestly can't wait for FFVII Remake. I've always hoped it would be good, but was concerned after everything that's happened. But I never expected it to look this good! And apparently it plays even better than it looks.

Theyll either end it after Ancient City, or maybe they will flesh out midgar massively and have that be part 1. From the trailer, they at least seem to be exploring more new stuff in midgar, such as the consequences of their terrorist actions, which should be very interesting. Either way I'm hyped !

It's because it looks absolutely amazing. I think it is so well done because the gameplay looks cracking, but then we are still none the wiser to the story. That sense of uncertainty going into it is something I love.

Judging by the fact that Sony likes to announce release dates only a few months beforehand, I'm betting that it's coming out this year

I get that some people find all this teasing irritating, but it actually gets me so excited and intrigued. I am hoping for something more substantial this time, though

See this is confusing me a little. It seems like this is correct, but then I don't understand how it could be delayed. Nomura said that all plans before launch were in place, so clearly they are in a good position. They also said a few months ago that they were originally intending to release it in 2018, so I think it being delayed even more wouldn't make much sense. But I guess this report speaks for itself

Also, on the FF Instagram, they mention that "most of the plans are in place for the run up to launch". Maybe this isn't as far off as we all think?
