Re: Naughty Dog Turns Off Intergalactic PS5 Trailer's Comments As Discourse Turns Nasty

Plankton-Warrior

DEI is destroying games in general, it's blatant now, and the western games are becoming worse, so it's a good thing that people point these things out, otherwise nothing will get any better, if you don't say anything then you'll just keep getting games like concord (unless you're happy with that) but if they don't accept our comments as a positive way to make things better, then it just shows that they don't care what most gamers want, i honesty don't have a problem with diverse characters in games or movies, but when they do it as the characters identity and you know it's just pandering, that's really what sucks the fun out of games, people all have a right to their opinions and that's why it's good to have comments switched on, we all want decent games, 100% pure gaming fun just like astro bot, i think we can all agree on that right?

I make electronic listening music

What if I used Rave sounds because I were pandering for a community of Rave people?

Or adding Breakbeats, for the Breakbeat heads.

How about the community of people who like Whawah Bass?

If I made music based on this, I wouldn't be making music from the heart, and that's what we're getting from the movie and games industry, movies, and games based on trying to pander to audiences that don't even care

Everyone has opinions on games and to have the comments turned off is counter productive for the devs as they would be able to have a good idea of what the gamers want from a game, unless they don't care what we want? As this seems to be the case lately.

Do they just have to tick boxes in their productions now to avoid the DEI police coming after them?

I've now been put off western games for this reason, I would much rather play a game that has great game play and story line, rather than a game that is trying to pander to an audience that isn't even the majority of gamers, but to be honest if the game is good then it'll sell fine, if not then this could potentially ruin naughty dog, we still need to see more, but I'm thinking it could be a pass for me, same as Ghost Of Yotei

If they let people create good games and stop employing people based on what their sexual preference, skin colour or gender is rather than merit, then western game developers are done, gamers have seriously had enough

Just put myself into elden ring properly as I'd barely touched it since pre order as I wanted to finish horizon forbidden west first, I've put in 15 hours and just defeated Margit, the Fell Omen on my third attempt I'm happy with that, quite enjoying the game so far, might play something retro like Twinkle Tale on the megadrive this weekend

Re: The Absolute Best Castlevania Just Turned 25

Wasn't really feeling Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night at first, to me it was like it can't be castlevania if it's not castlevania, but I found a physical copy in game for £9.99, so it was the right thing to do and the more I played it the more it felt like sotn

Magical Hat no Buttobi Tābo! Daibōken was my very first Japanese import game back then and this was before I see that review in cvg mag, so it was a gamble if the game was gonna be any good, then it was featured in the complete guide to Sega magazine, this lead me to buying a Japanese megadrive console (full screen and full speed) , those were good times weren't they 😊

Re: Gran Turismo 7 PS5, PS4 Patch Restores Servers After 24 Hours, Polyphony Digital Comments on Microtransactions

I've been playing the game with motion control steering with the dualsense from the start but since this latest patch, whenever I have to take a sharp right turn the car stops turning and crashes into the left side, this worked perfectly before, taking a sharp left is fine, just going right is almost like the dualsense is disconnected, I've tried my other dualsense (the fully charged one I have on standby) and that does exactly the same, tried rebooting the game and the ps5, but I'm guessing it's something they did in the patch, anyone else had this problem?

This is one of their fixes that I'm thinking could be the problem :
9. Physics Simulation Model
 - Adjusted the model to reduce the grip lost when cars with high downforce are passing over a kerbstone while cornering at its limit.

Re: Gran Turismo 7 PS5, PS4 Has Been Offline All Day

Plankton-Warrior

Bought a physical copy of the game and its practically a broken game without online capabilities, not happy about this, I'm not interested in playing online, good thing I don't live in an area where there's bad network, but what is this disc for? Because there's no game on it, feeling very ripped off, they could've just sold us a code in a box, that'll probably be their next step, they don't want us to own these games in future

Re: Feature: Best Uses of PS5 DualSense Controller So Far

Plankton-Warrior

I thought it was really good with death stranding I liked it when you walk over rough terrain, also nice to use in ghost of tsushima, I've been using the dualsense in steering wheel mode (can't remember the mode name) with gran turismo 7 and it feels so natural to control the car this way also love the acceleration and feel of the brakes
