Re: Need for Speed Unbound (PS5) - This Stylish Arcade Racer Has Substance to Match

REALAIS

I enjoy NFS Unbound. Driving feels very good for me. Visual effects makes screen much busier which I really started to like, because NFS is arcade game not racing simulator. Story was okay, seemingly it was to newer age players but still as over my 30's, I went with it.

Minuses. After completing Lakeshore Grand there is no real replayability. Yes, it is possible to continue driving in offline with races to choose from, but calendar is empty from special events or even doing Grand again. Hopefully they could add it in future updates, like New game+ option.

Online is empty, only things I do is trying slowly finish all collectibles and activities and hopefully sales will be enough to push future online updates. Right now it feels like they are testing it out for stability or other data. Only 16 players per map, only 8 drivers per race. Zero police on map and no AI drivers in races. But I am optimistic that they have plans for future to push it further.

I would rate this game at 8 easy. Love to drive crazy around city

Re: Yes, You Can Turn the Effects Off in Need for Speed Unbound

@Jacko11 You have choice and you are complaining? Why limit with one design, it is much better to try be in middle with two options ON and OFF, and sell at most. They already will sell less copies because of not having on previous gen which still outnumbers current gen consoles significantly.

At the end, driving gameplay and custmization should be main thing in this game and not art style alone.

Re: Microsoft Bigwig Implies PS5 Is Losing Marketshare to Xbox

REALAIS

There are rumours that Microsoft spent extra some money to get chip priority. And as practically you can build 2-3 S vs 1 X is giving opportunity to stock those series S in shops. And when you go to shop and all you can see is Xbox, then you buy atleast something, that is Xbox.

Re: Rumour: PS Plus PS5, PS4 Games for May 2022 Leaked Early

REALAIS

@Apfelschteiner probably it will. Releasing new game every year aswell is their contractual duty to FIFA licence agreement. Ofcourse they are benefiting from that. Lets see if Efootball will be able to be competetive. At this moment it doesnt seem to be very big threat. They still need time and snatch even more licences for teams and kits and stadiums

Re: Sony Experimenting with Ads in Free-to-Play PS5, PS4 Games

@GADG3Tx87 but world is changing. I got there is mostly negative opinion about that. But this monetasition is great for indie companies, but ofcourse big names will use it full on. And lets be real, world is getting only more expensive. This years inflation is 10%, next year will be same. From MTX platforms takes big chunks too. Sony NMicrosoft stores 30%, if there is VAT, another 20%. Games gets only bigger and more expensive to create. More expensive to maintain big companies. World wil always change. And people mostly dislike changes

@nessisonett why gross? Why not allow devs to monetise games. F2P games are filled with Microtransactions, why not change that to ad watching as alternative to players. Or mainly ads in background. Play EA F2P football game and all boards around field has ads on them. Do some racing and again big bilboards on side of road is filled with real life brands. It is not so bad idea to create F2P games if all those ads are mostly in background.
