Portland GameStops are some dirty liars! They told me the printed version was over and now I get the digital version emailed to me once a month. Hopefully Phoenix’s GameStops can rectify this we move at the end of the month.

I don’t usually comment on these kinds of articles but I wanted to mention that I agree with both of you and I do think it’s worth saying that this is indicative of 2021 journalism as a whole. Especially outside of gaming journalism, controversy drives almost all news nowadays and it’s rare to find a news piece that doesn’t have opinion inserted into it. I’ve come to accept that this is how PushSquare does business and I’m ok with it since they usually label it as an opinion piece or a soapbox. It’s pretty standard to have some bias in your articles since it drives clicks, views, comments, etc. The “why do people replay games” article is the exact same. I’ll say that it saddens me gaming journalism is dominated by this. I went to IGN for the first time in years the other day and couldn’t believe what their site has turned into.

Oddly enough I still think GameStop’s Gameinformer is the best example of how gaming journalism can be done. Sad they had to discontinue the printed version.

I have many friends waiting to get one. I still check the electronics section of Walmart and Fred Meyers for them every time I’m out and about. Feel extremely fortunate to have got in that first day of pre-orders.

My buddy really loved the first one but I never ended up playing it. Looked fun though so I’d be interested in trying a next gen version of it

Mine didn’t show in-game either, so I searched the PS store for “Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Combat Pack (Endurance)” and it shows as free in the store.

That Baker skin is nice. The NATO operators are definitely lacking in non-bundle skins.

I’ve had this since day zero and absolutely love it. Honestly after hearing the difference in footsteps in Call of Duty it’s hard for me to play without putting them on now.

While I do think this warrants an article, I know where you’re coming from.

I find my own frustration in this sites insistence on inserting Jason Schreier into their articles. I said this in the last Elden Ring article as well, adding him into this article adds no value besides serving as a name drop. The tweet he put out gave no more information than this article did, and apparently saying I told you so I’ve seen it is worth getting added to the story.

Dang I haven’t thought about Ape Escape in a looong time. I had ‘On the Loose’ as my first PSP game and absolutely loved it.

Yeah sadly my internal SSD filled by the end of January so I invested in a 4TB HDD for all my PS4 titles. The HDD still works great though I mean all the titles still look excellent the instant loading times just aren’t there.

Definitely excited for Outbreak. Firebase Z was great although it’s too small to stay relevant long. It’ll be a nice one to revisit from time to time though.

Ah that would definitely explain some things. I also had no idea how bad Raytracing hurt the performance until I watched the digital foundry video. Simply switching RT off and bringing the FOV down to 90 gives my a consistent 60fps at 4K with HDR

I decided to give Cold War a second chance when Firebase Z dropped and I’m actually really enjoying it so far. Played with some settings to fix the unreliable frame rate on PS5 and it’s made it a much more enjoyable experience.

Firebase Z has actually proven to be my favorite zombies map yet. Multiplayer still isn’t as enjoyable as Modern Warfare 2019 was, but it’s not as terrible as I initially thought.

Wouldn’t it have just been simpler to go back in time, kidnap a younger Ellen Page, and bring her to this time?

Hulk told us that wouldn’t screw up our own timeline so I don’t see the issue.

I would say to the people wanting to make E3 happen please make sure you can confirm there will be some heavy hitters shown off that make it worth the hype and attention.

Even before COVID ended it in 2020 the last few E3s were just really uninteresting because there was nothing spectacular being shown.

Most no-life I’ve ever been was April 2020 I got a Warlock 0-60 in WoW:Classic in under a month. Probably about 220ish hours in 4 weeks.

I’d actually say this is one of the better MMOs to play if you want to play casually. New players just be warned some of the MSQ is very much a slog.

Also tip of the cap to Yoshi and his team. Blizzcon is coming in a few weeks and WoW: Classic TBC is going to be announced, probably for May. Releasing XIVs expansion and PS5 upgrade a month before that really was a 4D chess move.

Modern Warfare 2019 was my first CoD in 8 years and I loved it; Cold War has been a pretty big disappointment however and has renewed my skepticism in the franchise.

I think it was confirmed Battlefield is coming this year so at least we’ll have some options to choose from (in addition to Halo on PC).

WoW: Classic will surely be having a resurgence soon with TBC reportedly coming in May. It’s a shame Shadowlands looks like more of the same.

So far I’ve beaten Demon’s Souls (got the platinum), Black Ops campaign and plenty of multiplayer, Until Dawn (platinum), Astro’s Playroom (platinum), put about 40 hours into Cyberpunk, another 40 into FFXIV, and I’m about 10 into God of War.

I’m actually at the point of wanting to jump back on my PC to switch it up from single player games for a little bit. I figured this would happen around this time anyways.
