It’s the same every summer. Me and my family go away on vacation, visiting out two families. I bring my handheld of choice with the idea of playing through 2-4 games. I get to spend 1,5 evening for myself, and usually end up not gaming.

Two more reasons not to pick up this game.

Looks fun - perhaps this will be what I hoped Legendary Eleven should’ve been.

Decrease the price, remove the «free» games. I buy all the games I want to play, and don’t want to pay extra for a limited time rental of random games.

Or: Offer a PS+ Light/Mini, with reduced price and online gaming only as an alternative.

Played the original on the Amiga 500: «OPEN DOOR».

Well, at least now we know there’s a video game in there. The compilation of cut scenes released the first time didn’t hint one way or another.

I keep clinging to the hope that their next game will be a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles one based on the original comics.

@gamer_since_83 Yeah, there seems to have been some mishaps in the communication there. 😂 According to Norwegian video game site Press Fire, Sony have confirmed that NOK 580 is the new price for a one year subscription.

In Norway, the price for a yearly subscription increases with 20 percent.

That’s one crazy trailer. I’m not as confident as others that this will turn out well - great cut scenes, great actors, crazy plot, but not sure about the gameplay. Kojima has a good track record, though.

I agree. This will make it so much more likely that I will pick it up at launch instead of 18 months later. I wonder how developers will go about it, though. Will they continue to develop PS4-games longer than usual after a new console launches?

That’s impressive, but that being said, I’m not too impressed by the loading times on my PS4 Pro as it is.

Is there no regular physical edition scheduled for European release? I can only find «limited edition» and «premium edition».

Not sure if it’s the same sale, but I’ll pick up Pyre (save 75%) and the two LocoRoco remasters (save 59%).

I think this will sit in the «so bad, it’s bad» category.

5 is an average game. But is 5 the average grade?

Nonetheless, if I can play 20 games a year, and 3 games are given a 10, 8 games are given a 9 and 10 games are given a 8, I won’t spend time with 6’s and 7’s unless the game really appeals to me.

My guess would be November 2020, continuing the release pattern set by PS3 (November 2006) and PS4 (November 2013).

Konami should release a TMNT collection. It’s not as if someone else is doing something with the license.

I don’t get this at all. Why not either
a) drop confirmed bits of information over a longer period of time, keeping everyone talking about it (maintain the buzz), guessing, hoping, discussing (will it be backwards compatible, will they reveal it at the same as E3, will it be so or so), or
b) announce that the console will be revealed at a given, with everyone waiting eagerly for that event, and having their eyes glued to it, or
c) both?

I can’t speak for the rest of the world, but none of my gamer friends had heard about yesterdays news, and there was absolutely nothing about it in mainstream media here (Norway).

Why not sell two versions, one censored, one rated 18+. That picture is rather disturbing, btw.

This will make it far more likely that I’ll pick up the console on or close to launch. I’ll still have 20 plus unwrapped Ps4 games once the PS5 launches.

All great news, but what a terrible way to announce a new console. Why not wait until E3, and announce it at Sony’s own show?

@Flaming_Kaiser Yeah, I’d like a great single player Star Wars game, so hopefully it turns out great. But I prefer playing games to watching cut scenes, so this trailer did nothing for me.

I’ll never understand gamers that enjoy video game reveal videos that contain absolutely zero gameplay. Oh, well, hopefully this will turn out well.

So, will there eventually be a game among all these cut scenes?

I haven’t changed my name per se, but a few years back I decided to create new profile, and leave my old behind (I only owned a couple of classic games on it).

@get2sammyb I believe the release date info on this game is off by a year (released in January 2017, not January 2016).

I’d like a PS+ Minus - allowing me to play online for a lower price, without having to pay extra for the right to loan games I either already own or have no interest in playing.

I never did play The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on the PS3, and was thinking about picking up the remaster for the PS4 when it released back in 2017. However, I changed my mind after reading Push Square’s review (7/10). Then, reading the review for the PSVR version, I put that one down on my to-buy-list, but seeing as the remaster is in the top 20 here, I’m second guessing my decision.

So, for someone who’s never played Skyrim before, which version would you recommend? The remaster or the PSVR version?

I’m hopeful, though the incorporation of EA’s logo into the Star Wars logo is unsettling.

While I haven’t played it yet, I’m always surprised that Pillars of Eternity: Complete Edition never makes the list, considering it got a better review score than most of the games on the list.

In hindsight, they should’ve fleshed out the State of Play trailer and ended with this, then. By the sound of it, this has much more potential than it seemed like initially.
